HI all! It will be more then great if anybody can help me.
The story is simple one guy decide to unlock his Diamond throw some free way ( I don't know how exectly ) he end with error 260 and DEAD Diamond.
The device does not get into bootloader when pressing Vol_- + reset.
Now this Diamond in my hands.
Can anyone please advice what can I do? can I flash ROM?
P.S. this phone are new and Orange UK branded.
Please help and sorry for my poor English.

On the Diamond you can access bootloader by jsut reseting and holding down the "Vol Down" Key only...
Try this and report back.
Where is this error 260 indicated ? If the ROM starts up and shows some error, the bootloader will work for sure.

try to make an hard reset by press vol down + central button + reset.
maybe you have to use mtty but I can't help you cause I never use it...

That what I told volume down + reset not working with this phone. It is in another one which I have here.
The phone doesn't show any signs of life, I think I need test point or maybe JTAG way to repair it......
Any suggestions?

I don't know I got this phone it this condition with a story about this error.
I don't actually know what happened, but I believe that this phone bricked down in the middle of unlocking process.

If there is no life in the phone then there is not much we offer/say to help.
Have you tried another battery?

Only to make a bit easy this step cause in this way one would be an octopus , soft reset your device with stylus and then, within 3 seconds, hold Vol down + centre round button until you see the tricolour screen. Release the buttons and follow the instructions (Press Vol Up to restore to manufactured settings).
This is the typical case when someone didnt do his homework. Im sure you didnt read the stickies. Poeple be warned, flashing your device can kill it if you dont have a clue on what you are doing. Ive seen a bunch of n00bs bricking their devices just because the didnt read the forum. This question has been ansewred a lot.

sorry friend to hear but i have one solution may be it can work u just flash hard spl v 1.93 olinex from here:http://ficca.bounceme.net/download/HARDSpl_Diamond_OliNex_1.93_Unsigned.zip just flash this hspl and after flashing this u can flash any rom but now u just flash this hspl if u got 100% then ur prob is solve so pls tell me what happen after that hope every thing will be alright good luck
Error 260 is a USB communication error. Did this happen during sim unlock or during hardspl install because the thread title says one thing and your post says another.

I have the same problem.. i tried a flash and then it wont turn on.. not even hard reset not even soft reset.. it wont even charge or indicate charging.

Hey charly, i flashed my phones many times, i've bricked it , got stuck on the tricolour screen.... but this time it's different... the phone it's completely dead... no light .. not charging no tricolour .. nothing:S
try this method for ur diamond
first remove ur battery form ur device and press the power button for 20 seconds . so it will discharge the power from ur device. after that put ur battery and press volume - and power on button to enter boot loader ... dont press reset button to enter bootloader ok !! hope this works for u , best of luck.

no luck.... i did the battery on the fridge processs.. no luck with that either... now i'm gonna check the battery with somekind of instrument and after that i'm gonna open my diamond to little pieces and put it back together... in quest for a fix

a did some measurements, the battery was 2.8V, i put it on the phone, put the phone in ccharger, and it did charge the batery to 3.7V(even the baterry led is not working).. i measured the phone also it gives 4.15V to the battery... i dont know is he charging correctly.. but it's charging the battery for sure.. ..... any clues ppl?

I have some trouble to flashing this rom i sayed..
When i go to the 3 colours screen, appear (1.40Olinex)
I guess this is 1.93 or not??
Anyway, the athena rom flashing succesfull but when restart, the cellphone automatic, (after finish flashing program) .... Appear the first image, where loading that three letters ( RGB with a code) ...
So when appear this letters the phone shutdown, and start's again...
Somebody can help me to fix that?
I have try everything, and just keeping restart....

Did you try flashing any other ROM ?
yup i tryed... and happens the same error....

(For flashing new room i made this way: Make a soft reset (press reset button + vol down) to appear the 3 colors screen. So I turned on my DiamongUpdate, and confirm the first windows, make a update, so when I click on next button, appear the progress bar, 0% I wait like a 20 seconds, and the progress go fast to 100%, 0 to 100% in 1 sec. So after appears succesfully and finish the flashing, so my phone reset, I take off the usb cable and appear the first load image on my phone appear the tre letters ( R G B ) .. and make a reset again.! ...
How I can get out this problem!!!?!?! help people!!! help me!!

i tried to flash bada 2.0 it diddnt work ( sercurity fail ) and other problems now i got a problem my phone doesnt boot up at all i cant even join download mode its just kinda dead.
I need help guys i tried to put out the battey left it there for 1 h put it back in and it still doesnt work i dont know what to do please can someone help? i screwd up

Yeah, you made a little mistake, i dont know for sure that now, but try to re-flash to 1.2 some bada version not to 2.0.1, but first know how to turn off security, becouse it can be not to late, or you get Brick or Semi-brick Good luck dude

Hello, lest you accidentally tried to flash BADA 2.0 with an older version of "Multiloader" if so remove the battery of the phone put it again and start the "Download mod" with keys "Vol up" + "Lock key" + "Power on" If you start flashing again with "Multiloader 6.65"

If you cannot enter to download mode then you are in big trouble... You will need JTAG to reanimate it.

If you turn it off and put the charger in nothing happends?
If so. JTAG is only way
If not you COULD have a semi-brick but i think you still need JTAG
what if my phone can boot but it reboot everytime after juz 1 sec on the home screen. this rebooting keep continue until i took off the battery. any solution?

Trying before asking? If you've read this thread then you would know that you should try to reflash
If your phone boots as soon as you put in battery then hold
vol down + camera when you put the battery in

I done a factory reset my cell phone and it die before unable to complete the reset
now every time a start my phone it show start up screen and it took 2 minutes and then it shows" please wait while your device is starting first time" and it restart same thing happening its not going further den that pleaseeeeeeeeeeee help me pleaseeeee i done hard reset soft i cant plug my data cable cause it doesn't get start please help mee

Hello and welcome to the forums,
Try to enter the bootloader mode and reflash the rom. You will find references how to do this all overall Rhodium xda forums.
i try bootloader bro but it didnt help and i cant plug my data cable cuz it keep restart and so i cant change the rom

Flash from SD. No need for the data cable.
Just rename the rom file to RHODIMG.nbh and place it on the SDcard.
My phone doesnt turn on, I can't hard reset him, I let the battery go to 1%, then it shutdown.. When I try to turn him on, I failed.. I try multiple times to use the volumes to reset, hard reset.. I can enter the bootloader, but stay the same, doesnt enter the recovery or download modes... please, someone help me, I dont know whatelse to do.. I let him charging but it keeps on bootloop all the time, he doesn't even shtdown..

Nothing diferent from the usual.. I was at my job, waiting for the battery to die and then charge.. I notice that something was wrong when I turn the phone off and plug the charger, It's started to bootloop and nothing else works..

I read that a damaged sd-card could be issue, make sure to try removing it and see if it boots if you have one in.
Put the twrp recovery.img into your adb/fastboot folder. Open a cmd to that folder. Then run cmd
Fastboot flash recovery NameOfTwrp.img

If I try to enter download ou recovery mode, the phone reboot, and appears a little htc logo, then, reboot again in normal boot... then the bootloop continues..

Hi, I'm from Argentina, I'm in the same situation as you, except that it happened to me from an update to Nougat, the cell was turned off and it never went on again, it's infinite bootloop. Same as you enter Bootloader, but I can not continue to enter either Download mode or Recovery, could you solve the problem?

Hi all its happen to me, and same case i only can go to bootloader but when i click download mode its only show logo htc same as like htc recovery logo,but after that its no show up again.. Please help me guys
