GPS camera in WM6

Hello everybody,
After having unpgraded to WM6 I no longer have the GPS camera function I have enjoyed in the WM5 Dopod rom...
In life you cannot have everything! Well, maybe in the Artemis (part of life) you can!
Does anyone know a tweak to enable this useful function again?

Hello SiperX,
If you want to put in GPS Position in automatic in a picture chance the follow in registry:
Go to HKLM/ Software/Htc/Camera/P9
and set enable to '1'
Than you got to do an soft reset.
it´s the sam as WM5.
Than the funktion apears!

Is it possible to use it in HTC (Elf) ?? Does it support External GPS device? Thanks

I don't think GPS Photo will work with external GPS receiver. It's also not available in some other devices with internal GPS like the Trinity.

Flash Touch 3.01 or O2 Premium 2.0. Both offer working GPS Photo. Also the official WWE ROM for Asia (Europe has no GPS Photo for some reason) has this extra

Its already set like u mention
& even with Kaiser Tweak
It shows GPS Photo - Enabled
but still it just keeps searching & doesnt set in to click a Picture
anyone ?

Hello Everyone, just let me start by saying that i just got my 8525 and i'm new to all this. I just wondering how those the BBConnect works? Do i need a blackberry service to make it work or is there any setting that i gotta adjust. I'm using the rom Schaps 4.01 Lite -SuperStorage- ICS Works! (*Voip, NetCF 3.5*). [i780] Does any of cooked ROMs support DUN profile?

I'm desperately looking for a solution to enable Dial-Up Networking BT profile in my Samsung i780, and I was thinking to try one of the cooked ROMs available around here. Could anyone confirm that DUN is properly working for his/hers i780 with non-standard ROM?

Bluetooth Keyboard compatability

Hi all, just a quick question after exhausting the search facility.
Im looking to buy a bluetooth keyboard, this one to be specific:

Now it says in description it will work the xda orbit. I have called them to check whether it's wm6.0 compatable and they don't know.
My question to everyone is, does anyone own this keyboard, and running wm6.0? if not does anyone no whether it will work?
My theory is that if it runs on wm5 it should on wm6.0! Just like win xp - vista.
Any help greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

I use the iGo Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard with XDA Orbit and WM6.1. The WM5 driver works also with WM6.

Application to turn wifi on/off based on GPS location

Hi all,
I am just wondering if there is some kind of application for WM 6.5 that turns wifi on/off based on GPS location i.e. leaving home or arriving at work...

Hi Jonas,
I do not know if there is a tool which does it for GPS, but G-Profile from Ageye works the same way with the Cell-ID.
Have a look and let us know if that is what you were looking for!

I had a quick look at G-profile and it might be good enough... As I haven't got my new HTC HD2 yet I can't test it...
For example, will the location based on cell id be accurate enough to turn on/ off based on leaving home?

On my Elf, I was using WifiLocations. See here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448783
It was working very well and do even more than what you want (bluetooth, ringer launch an app based on your cellId, ...) ... (Think I am gonna install it again on my Diamond 2)

Hmm.. Wouldn't such an app totally destroy your battery life? Since the GPS would be on 24/7.
