Does anyone know how can I get in touch with HTC developers? More exactly, the guys behind the HTC widgets and apps? If someone has any idea who they are of course...
I would like to get in touch with them... I didn't want to go the route of e-mailing the general HTC mail because that won't probably do anything and I doubt they'll forward my e-mail to the respective developers.

Which is the best twitter application for the HTC HD....I´ve used Pocketwit, Twikini and some java applications...I like none of them...are there others versions I´m not aware of? Maybe one like Hero version?

To be honest I find Twikini by far the best, its simple and effect an the UI doesnt completely suck like the others.
I like PocketTwit myself...

It will be interesting to see if anyone finds something.

In my opinion Twikini is the best too.
I've just installed Twikini but can't get past the username and password screen. I press the left soft key on my Touch HD to sign in but nothing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

i have started sometime ago and developed some easy apps for standard android platform. now i ask myself how to develop funcionality for the sense ui system by htc on our heros.
an example would be to integrate another picturehosting-service into the "Album"-App by HTC, where normally pictures are shown which are stored on your phone, facebook and/or flickr. of course suggestions and help for this kind of problem cannot be found in the sdk documentation, but also in the web i weren't able to find something about this..
i thought it was intentioned by htc to enable adaptability by custom enhancements/developments for their android sense ui?! or am i wrong with these thoughts?

I don´t know how to developer apps , but this idea is THE BEST IDEA I EVER SEE !
I think HTC want to keep their sdk to themselves...

use smali/baksmali to look at the code, probably it is possible to add one from a third party app (service/contentprovider)

The Wildfire actually has some interesting new features, like:
HTC Caller ID that shows the caller’s Facebook status and a birthday reminder
App Sharing that lets you recommend apps straight from your phone
these are only soft mods, so I think we will see them in our desire as well soon.
I think its a pretty good idea for those people who dont wanna jump to the daddy of smart fones and wanna start out simple and small.
It looks like a perfect introuction to a smartfones.

Where does the HTC Hub app store downloaded Sense Skins (like Music Lover and such)? I've been all across the internet, XDA, etc, as well as Root Explorer-ing the hell out of the root folders.
Anyone know exactly where it stores these files?
If you download,you can find at /data/app.
Skins are apk`s as far as I know!

@blunted09, the reason I was asking where the skins were was because a buddy of mine and I have been collaborating for about 6 years now in Photoshop projects. These range from websites, to signatures, and even state competitions. The problem before, we couldn't find a ROM that we liked enough to actually release public themes for.
We both have the Droid Incredible, but we will be developing our themes through the HTC Hub so that they are easily installable, backwards compatible, and have a quality not seen before on XDA. Now that we've got the skins from the /data/app/ folder, work get begin. Get ready for some new themes!

A few days ago on HTCSense.com they had a "Memories" skin (orange looking one) but it would not download or show up in the HTC Hub on my phone, HTC said it should work but usual rubbish from the customer service team.
Did anyone else see it/download it. If possible would you be able to share it.

I had the same problem, that skin is sweet yet i was unable to push it to my phone. they said theres a slight problem with the server or sync with the phone. should be sorted out in a few weeks apparently.

I know I don't know if its coming, and no one else outside of HTC will know until it happens. We need Sense 2.0 first
