Which is the best twitter application for the HTC HD....I´ve used Pocketwit, Twikini and some java applications...I like none of them...are there others versions I´m not aware of? Maybe one like Hero version?
Waiting for caomments and replies...
Bye.
To be honest I find Twikini by far the best, its simple and effect an the UI doesnt completely suck like the others.
I like PocketTwit myself...
To be honest, i have looked but not found anything better than Twikini.
It will be interesting to see if anyone finds something.
pocketwit ist my favorite
With this twitter app, can you download just the last twitter messages and read them offline?
Regards
In my opinion Twikini is the best too.
I've just installed Twikini but can't get past the username and password screen. I press the left soft key on my Touch HD to sign in but nothing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Hello,
i've flashed my german T-Mobile MDA with an Windows Mobile 6 O2 Image.
When i go to the sms inbox the left softkey is set on the "delete"-function.
Before flashing to windows mobile 6 there was the "new"-function attached. This is IMHO much more useful against delete which you can also do in the context-menu quick and easy.
How can i get it back? Is there any registry hack ore something i didn't found yet?
Thanks for help.
Agree with you....very strange this function...
noticed this too - wired, 2 extra button presses... i suppose they need to warrant the new version some way!
Well I prefer it
I much prefer having the delete in the left softkey... brilliant improvement, especially if using for email... quick look at the message in the list and delete it... much beter than having the new button there.
It your only reply who prefer it to be like this.
I have searched the whole world for this thread & saw nobody saying "I prefer".
I don't know who the hell MS* researched for this preference.

Did you ask though?
Because I prefer it too, but I don't feel the need to announce all my preferences to the world as routine.
Well except;
I love Jaffa Cakes
Maybe anybody solved this "problem"?
There seems to be a few floating about, any recommendations?
thanks

I tried skybook and mobilizer. neither worked very well. the basics were there but they both have a long way to go. the skybook app always failed to close properly and mobilizer never seemed to open properly.
This is not really an app, but some have suggested using the facebook page for iphone. I believe it is something like iphone.facebook.com or so.
EDIT: Na, I take it back. This certainly won't help you. I just tested the iphone facebook and did not like it. It seems that it uses resolutions for the iphone and everything looks big and blurry on the HD. Besides, that was no really what you were looking for anyway.
Here you go: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=16698519604
If you are going to use Facebook on a PDA, just use "m.facebook.com"... It is a web page obviously, but is formatted better for smaller screens...
Theres one being developed by this very site!

m.facebook.com (m for mobile)
This may or may not be a stupid question and I've looked high and low for an answer but is there anywhere i can download system apps individually? Specifically Windows Live Messenger.
The ROM i have installed doesnt have it included and a .CAB of it would be beautiful.
Correct me if this isnt even possible...
THANKS!
microsoft probably has windows live messenger available for download.
EDIT: I found it, but it is so easy to find that I won't be helping you. I don't even think you searched. If XDA doesn't work, try Google.
if you don't google it your lazing it

Yeah but he said he looked up and down. What a liar.
google ppc windows messenger..
man i get loads of hits on that one!
... thanks for making me feel like an idiot but...
i dont know how there is such a flood of people calling me retarded but iv obviously googled it and found windows websites saying
"How do I get started?
MSN Messenger is a standard application for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PCs and Smartphones (versions 2002 and 2003).
To launch MSN Messenger on your device, all you need to do to get started is launch MSN Messenger from the Programs menu (a connection to the internet must be established first).
Now you are ready to add some friends and try all the different features MSN Messenger for Windows Mobile devices offers!"
that isnt exactly a download link. every other website is third party apps... which are not what i was looking for. and thus all these answers saying basically "****ing google it liar" are completely wrong. if you actually googled it yourself youd see that it isnt a solution. hence me asking here....
I'm a huge fan of the accomplishments of this community but really though... its a legit question.
If anyone genuinely has an answer thatd be greatly appreciated.
and if im seriously that blind and it is there than im sorry for my incompetence but im fairly certain that this isnt as simple as you all seem to think it is?!
......
nevermind. i am infact retarded. i had no idea that msn was bundled WITH the live service because my phone still had live on it just not messenger... i downloaded the whole bundle and now lifes great... but thanks for calling me stupid a bunch that was pleasant.... how am i suppose to know theyre bundled together?! (windows is ****ing stupid, thats why im a mac user.
lmao!
hi there moron. (just kidding - welcome on board )

you did start the general theme in the first post.
although I can't see anyone being offensive (well okay someone did accuse you of being a liar, but hey that's positively being loving at times around here)
I know there's apps for blackberry and the iphone.. but they might be made by yahoo itself, if anyone has any idea or has 1 themselves let me know I been lookin but can't find anything
or even just an application that you can set your specific scoring/settings, enter your players, and it'll keep track by updating from the game.. it doesnt even need to let me actually change my line-up i can do the yahoo mobile for that
im assuming not since i havent found much of anything but worth a shot, someone might be holdin somethin they personally made down
or a browser thats compatible with tinychat.com
so, I recently posted a thread that Im probably going to delete. how to import opera mobile 10's bookmarks into clear text and use em with showacos opera panel. That got me thinking though. In the what, 5-6 months we have had titanium, look at how far its come! whats been accomplished! Im thinking, why a seperate panel for each browsers bookmarks? with the ability to be able to scroll down in a single page in a panel now, why not one panel where each page is a different browser with its bookmarks? Most of the browsers we already know how to extract the bookmarks from. There are plenty of morts and pages out there that do similar things. Why not?
wishin I had the know how to do this, I humbly pitched this to a couple guys who can probably help a lot with this but, already have a lot on their plates. They said they would look in on this thread and help/support when they can. So Im hoping someone with more skills than I gets interested in this as well. I know we have some more work to do on opera 10 and probably others for their bookmarks but, Im sure it wont be long before one of us, or you rather, brilliant guys out there finds the way to accomplish them. Im doin all the research I can and still asking guys who I think might be interested and can help. so tell me what you all think and lets see if we cant get this panel developed.
wow
so maybe i dream too big?
