As my title suggests I am looking for a stable ROM. I currently have yozgatg TouchFLO 3D 2.1.38680.0 VGA. There are simply far too many ROMs in this thread for someone to sift through so I will appreciate any recommendations. I am not looking for something with the latest and greatest modifications but moreso for something that has been tried and tested stability and has good battery life.
I have been out of the loop for too long as I was really into my flashing before, so in the last 6 months I havnt been able to keep up with the trends. If there is anyone that can help me out I will greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance.

First of all thanks to everyone who makes this all possible
I was scared of flashing my Orange M3100 at first but now i realise if you read & read as much as possible on here then you won't go far wrong.
anyhow After reading i decided to go with the Schaps 3.60 rom (thanks Schaps) and it works fine apart from a couple of issues but i cant say i have been blown away with the speed but stability seems better than WM5 but maybe i need a bigger pagepool. Although having to reinstall all of the stuff means i have not had a great chance to test it properly yet.
Now looking at another thread it seems that the TNT rom may be better (the bluetooth issue on the Schaps rom is a pain tbh)
My question is that as there are so many threads regarding WM6 roms all have good and bad in them , I was wondering what in users opinion is the best rom for stability and / or speed out there.
I suppose that this mainly requires opinions from users that have tried more than one rom but all are welcome.
Also i am confused ref the number of radio roms there are and it seems that each radio can have different results in different countrys.
I'm not sure what you can use for this but it would be a great idea to have a matrix of tested roms by users their test results from each country so we can get a good idea which one would perform the best and if possible maybe a comparison of WM6 roms and bugs etc.
So i am asking if it's possible to have 2 matrix one for radio performance in countrys and the other for the WM6 roms
I know that the roms matrix would be more difficult but the radio one would be very useful .
Sorry for a long winded post and if i can help collate the info then i am happy to do that.
Heres looking forward to the replies and thanks.

Funny , it was a good read made me chuckle when i realised what it was saying but maybe you may have missed my point
It's already my intention of trying the TNT rom after i have tested the current rom more but my point was that as we are all here to help each other i thought it would be a good idea to have a way of displaying the info in one place so it's easier for users to help them come to a desicion.
Of course searching the forums is always the way but there are so many threads it's easy to miss things.
It's ok to flash the radio 10 times to see which one is the best performer in which country but if it's already been done why not be able to see the results and then free up the time to test ones that have not been tested.
But still it was worth reading that post anyway hehe
MachmandP,
I'm with you on this one.
I'm looking to flash mine but there are so many with different updates and different problems but no spreadsheet showing the differences.
Its a random choice as to what you get.
First off, I figured that I would mention that I've read pretty much every sticky on these boards, and the wiki up and down. I know that what people are interested in ROMs is completely subjective to what they desire, whether it be performance, stability, or style.
My predicament is that I'm expecting a Diamond this Wednesday, and I'm a bit psyched, as my current phone is ancient (SE w810i). I want to flash early, as I heard the current ROM is very buggy, and I want to start off on a good leg. However, you have to admit, there are TONS of cooked ROMs built up, and being new, I don't know exactly what to look for in them yet. I've seen benchmarks that show how burdensome they are and whatnot, but overall, there is a mass amount of information, and it's VERY hard to soak in what I'm looking for until I play around w/ them a bit. I've read that "1.93" is generally a great ROM. Would it be easier for me to use a simple, basic ROM and just apply all the tweaks I can to it, or would that not amount up to what some of these cooked ROMs have?
Again, I completely understand everyone has their favorites, but is there a general line of cooked ROMs that are balanced and optimized well, allowing customization, that aren't too out of the ordinary? Again, I've searched up and down, and have learned A LOT, but it's this first step that is always the hardest.
I really appreciate the help everyone!
best way to find out
get flashing
sorry this kind off thread is not allowed here
welcome to the forum.....good luck
I jumped at the chance to run RCMix3d Runny® Sense 3.5 ROM when I discovered it a week ago however, I've noticed short battery life. With other ROM's I've flashed a new kernel capable of SBC. I'd like to know which kernel would work best to achieve a longer battery life with this ROM.
I'm new to the forum so I couldn't post this question on the ROM's thread. (Sorry)...
PS...yeah yeah I know I'm new but I feel the need to give thanks and praise to the all the people associated to this site. I've done a good bit a reading and for all of you dev's out there, folks that know Linux and Android, giving (free) advice and helping people that are genuinely excited about learning about this technology, I say thank you. I've donated to several Devs for the ROM work. I think it's only fair to point out to anyone that might be reading this that this is why I went with Android and this is why I have told everyone I know about this site and the people on it. Ok ok...no more butt kissing...just thanks.
Same issue im running RunnyDroid though
Hi peeps,
Ok...this is my dilemma. For some time now I have been using a HTC Wildfire phone as my work provided them for the staff. We have all been in the same opinion that the phones cause us daily problems with calls dropping, phone freezing, etc etc.
I personally have a Samsung S2 which has been great, although sadly the custom rom I have on it is no longer been developed so that's another issue to tackle another day.
Because I have to use the Wildfire daily I am looking to try and load a rom to make life easier and less problematic. So I would be grateful for suggestions and advice on a rom I could look at installing into the phone, thanks :good:
Firstly just to be sure this is a "Wildfire S" forum not "Wildfire". Huge difference between both. Just making sure you are in right direction.
You may wanna root your phone and try a improved version of stock ROM assuming you need sense 2.1. I haven't used many sense 2.1 roms but Mindhaxor or disciple 1 is my favorite. Get them from android forums.
I personally use MIUI v4 for daily use. It's great.
Cheers really appreciate your advice on this, after looking at videos on youtube to check and it would seem that it's not the "S" version at all....whoops....sorry about that.
Will now venture onto the Wildfire forum lol! :good:
Hello all!
As a precursor, I've been upgrading my ROMs ever since the G1, so I'm not a complete loss.
With that said, I need someone (please) to jump in and recommend to me the current best sense ROM for the G2. I am currently running Virtuous-Vision-v0.8.1 . As you can see, it's been a while since my last ROM update, which is why I'm coming to you incredibly informative folks.
Any direction you can give, I would greatly appreciate.
Take care!

This thread belongs in the Q&A. Why would you post it in here...?
Also, there's a thread under this section that lists all of the rom's available for this device.
But, since you're looking for Sense rom's it'd be a good idea to go for the Gen.Y VisionX Sense 4A rom. It's got great performance and pretty much everything is working so it's an excellent replacement from what you're currently running. You don't need swap for it too.
You can still poke through the other rom's and find what works best for you.
