Does the slow scrolling PIE cab for the Kaiser work on the Artemis too?

Found the link below. I have Meschle's Premium Plus ROM and the IE has always been horrible. I never use it because it's so slow. I've just been using Opera. So I was just wondering if I can use this CAB on my Artemis.

Yup, well dunno if thats the one I have but I hated PIE until I installed this. Now I have no problems at all with PIE, in fact I prefer PIEPlus with this patch than Opera or any other browser.

Never mind. I just installed it (after backup) and it works great.
I just wonder if there was a fix that took up less memory. The file is 1 Meg.

I've been away for a while. Where'd you get PIE plus?

Ya know it would be great if this was integrated into every ROM. Would save alot of hassle, and program space as users probably wouldnt need to install this patch or other browsers.

Its not freeware you hafat pay for it

OK. I'll take a look at it. One question though, does it improve the page loading speed at all? I used to really hate how it hung up at about 80 percent.
And thanx for the PM too.

Mine isnt too bad at loading. I can still scroll while the page is loading and most pages dont take long to load......then again its bee na while since I tried Opera or anything so you will hafta compare for me

When can we expect this for Hermes? Says HTC have already got it running, perhaps we can get that ROM and customise it for Hermes?

Already has been. Josh Koss has a 6.5 hybrid as well as Tai_sw. Both of which seem REALLY stable...

Looks like Josh is up to WM 6.5 Test 4. I might wait a bit longer till he gets a stable build out.
Can't understand which Mobile 6.5 of TAI_Sw's to download??? Prefer Lite ROMs as they run faster.

Ive been running Tai_sw's non ui rom 21139, very stable. Josh's v4 is also very stable. DIfferent Ui than normal today screen. If you don't have too many extra apps installed would suggest trying. V4 has been out for about a week already.

yep it's not production like direct from htc or anything it's very beta and provided from beta sources.. but we're doing the best with what we got

Hey Josh, been using the 6.5 for a while now, a little diff to get used to but runs very smooth, 1 thought though, would there be a way to split the honeycomb interface into panels that would slide sideways.....ie, the first panel might show the tools icon, file expl icon etc, then the next panel might have the display settings icon and messeging icon, etc.... it could slide up or down or sidways, would not really matter...........just a thought, might involve too much programming, but would navigate much easier than the current flick mode, thanks for any thoughts

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to download test 5, because of a blocker here at work. Do you happen to have it on your captfiero.com ?
I'd love to use the latest one you got.

One question though: why does it say 6.5_test3.7z? You stated that test6 is under way?

Once again I have to mention that I'm not sure which test version this is, but anyways here's what I got so far:
1. The screen is going off for no apparent reason.
2. It's very slow when opening menus. (takes like 4-5secs to open)
wow all the content from the start menu just went on a vacation, nothing's there
and now it's dead! tried almost everything it just wont work.
sorry that I can't give U more info, I'm going back to a stable rom!
Hope to see a more stable test version and I'll give it a another run.

NP I'll def look into it, but right now I'm testing the Omnia ROM. Looks pretty fun!

WM6.5 Facebook app available as cab, running fine on Touch HD

Works fine on my Touch HD. Using Dutty's Extreme 2.1 ROM. No configuration required after install. Slight issue with the error "101: Invalid API key" thing but this is minor. A definite improvement on SkyBook.
Would be great to have this available from a seperate tab on touchFlo3D.

It's working fine for me on Duttys 1.9 rom.

Not bad, needs a bit of work.

a bit slow
works fine on the original stock rom, but is a bit slow to perform tasks inside the applications like scrolling the pages up and down. maybe due to the 3g speeds in optus in australia. will have to try using the application in wifi.

I haven't tried this app using 3G but with WiFi there don't seem to be significant speed issues.

tested it out, looks gd, but when i sent a msg, said API error, how'd i know if the msg sent at all??
try it (im on dutty 1.9 xtreme)

Far from perfect but it gets the job done, I kind of still prefer the look of http://iphone.facebook.com despite the decreased functionality.

great little app, a bit buggy but it can only get better and the UI is better than anything else I have tried on the Touch HD

left this running in the background overnight and this morning it comes into focus full screen saying "internet error" every 10 minutes or so.. closed it for now but may not like being left running.
I like the idea... would be nice to be able to drill down a bit deeper into the information it gives you before diverting you to the full website - no major advantages to using this over a shortcut on your internet tab imo.

facebook app not updating! HELP!!
i have the facebook app from post#1 it worked at first but after hard resetting my touch pro (for other reasons)and reinstalling it dosnt want to update any of the tabs when i hit update i have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no change...does anyone else have this problem? is there a fix? i waited too long for a FB app please HELP

[REQUEST] New HTC ALBUM C-A-B..??

I wonder if anyone can help and provide a cab for the new htc album (with iphone like picture switching-plus its waaaay faster than the default old one..)
I want to use it with some roms that dont include it!! (old manila..!!)

But i flash a new rom every two days..!!! its gone out of control..i had my hd doing everything right but not being what it is..a phone!! (tons of problems answering calls with s2u2 caller id over new rodium dialer-which sucks-same s*** with resco contact manager which freezes every now and then in the newer builds..etc etc!!)
So i said i'll stick a while with a stock rom or 6.5..(6.5 after trying is out of the question..even with the 202 build..)
I found davideuck v7 and thought ok..give it a shot! And its amazing ..! AND RELIABLE!.. but with the "default" album..! which sucked from day 1 .. When you try the new one though you JUST CANT go back! So i wanted to know if its possible to have it VIA CAB!! Reflashing is not always a good thing to do cause for me its like 5 hours or so..(all apps from scrath etc..)
SO PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP...!! stock rom people would also love this!!

Same happens on my device. Using Davideuck 6.5 V6.

I think the fact that its Duttys own cab for his roms means its most likely not going to work on any other roms but his!

After a lot of search i found many builds of the 3xx version of the album!!!BUT ALL PORTED FOR DIAMOND .. (vga) No one has the original wvga one ???
(if it can be found as cab could also be used in davideucks 6.5 v6.. dave said he will cook a build with it in the rom but a cab would be nicer for all!)

If anyone can tell me what this "new album" is I could make a cab. Right now I'm using a self-cooked ROM with Album version 3_0_19131221_0, and seriously think about recooking the ROM to include the stock Blackstone one.

Its fast..!! The new album is the version you are using, with the iphone style and smootheness changing between pictures.. Its from rhodium as far as i know..

Whether it's fast or slow depends on a lot of things apparently, it's very slow in this ROM and was fast in my previous one.
It works the same way as the old one in terms of transition between pictures anyway. And on the downside it doesn't rotate pictures.

So we are not talking about the same album! You would have seen so much difference that you could never go back to an older version! even with the limitation in zoom levels!

I think we are talking about the same Album. It was very fast in my previous ROM.
I can easily go back to anything though. I just don't care about viewing pictures too much. And even less so about whether it's like the Jesus Phone or not.

Can someone then port it from duttys 2.6 for example, so it can be usable with every rom..?? or at least of the same build?

New CAB sucks! I want the original! Where can I get the original! I love the circle to zoom that would zoom an image of a photo that was almost too small to see on the phone so close and in crystal clarity! This new album SUCKS! 1 level of zoom and it's damn grainy! Way grainy! Not crystal clear at all.

+1 with Molitar, I prefer the old one. On Blackstone we do not have hardware zoombar.

I found an $8 software called Kai's Deinstaller.. it actually worked after the update from the 1D. I ran it and back to the older album

Any progress on this? I could do with an up-to-date album on the rom I use...

[Q] Newest Xperia Opera?

Howdy! I recently tried Opera 9.7b1 for a while, but the lack of X1 keyboard support gets on my nerves too much. I haven't got the damn thing for nothing!
Now I was wondering - who can point me to the version number and/or download link of the latest Opera that works well with the X1 HW keyboard (and volume button zooming)?

Latest one I know of is 15969. That is what I am using now. Although I am curious if there is a newer build that will work w/ hardware keyboard & volume zoom.

Ey men try the opera of Valkyrie 2.9 rom. It supports keyboard hardware. Volume button becomes a zoom tool when you use opera. its really magnificent. I dont know how agent 47 tweaked it but its really great and so much easier to browse.
