Done a few searches on here and through Google with no joy.
Is it possible to have the top and bottom task bar in 6.5 transparent when using the Manilla home page, they turn transparent on pressing the Start button etc and if you cahnge to Titanium, but are solid when you have Today set to Manilla.
In fact they do not turn transparent, the change when in titanium or manila, while return black in start menu, to make them change similar to the wallpaper ( in accordance with the wall paper ), use HDWALL software to make ur wallpapers, it will make two other pictures ( one for the topbar and the other to the bottombar, taskbar and softkeybar in other word)

is it possible to add more colors to the homescreen other than standard and guava bubbles?
I've been wanting to know this too
It is... by editing the XML file, or installing a homescreen with a different color scheme. There are several links out there with instructions, here's one to start (scroll down a little, the color scheme section is there)

BlackBarsScheme
This is a Color Scheme with registry entries to enable true black bars (softkey and icon bars). Just select your homescreen and select Color Scheme: Black Bars. It works with all the standard homescreens on my dash. Experiment and see what works.

try http://smartphone.kleinweder.ch/downloads/viewkat.php and QVGA Landscape in cotext menu
If you try to specify your softkeys menu bar in a homescreen as black wm5 will give you grey. In order to get "true" black you must create registry settings. It has been said (though I don't know if it's true) that Homescreens that set the registry will create seperate entries for every homescreen with black bars you install (true enough), but if you uninstall those homescreens the registry entrys will stay(?) until you factory reset your phone. So if you install 20 homescreens with black bars you end up with 20 different registry entries for the same effect even if you uninstall 19 of them. The BlackBarsScheme will only create one set of entries and can be used with any homescreen you want to use.
Does anyone else notice this? The bottom curtain in the home tab is semi transparent, while in the other tabs its not. It's quite noticable if you use other wallpaper than the default one.
Anyone know how to make it consistent? either semi transparent for the other tabs or no transparency in the home tab.
PS: I don't want to remove the bottom curtain.
Hi,
You may try the attached cab file I found from a Chinese forum. (http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=224&t=905699&last=10217022)
It makes the bottom curtain semi-transparent as for the home tab.
It works perfectly on my official CHT Rom.
Regards,
Thanks. Tried it, however it seems that the home tab still has a more transparent curtain than the other tabs. Looks like it's automatically applying different opacity to the same image. Anyone know if we can change this setting?
I was wondering if there was a way to change the softkey bar and the top windows bar color and font on just the tf3d? I have ui tweaker but it changes it for the whole phone. I want it to be black with green font on just the tf3d and green with white font in programs and the program list and what-not. I also want to make my slider clear. I have tried a few cabs but then you see the icon behind the big icon of the slider.
Hi All
I'm wondering if it is possible to get the topbar (where the startmenu is in, the 3g, signal, sound and battery, and taskmanager icons are in) transparant, maybe through a cab or so. I use the 21864 build rom of NRGZ of 28Oct. And also I'd like to have the bottom bar transparant (where the phone and menu softkeys are in).
I did the following mods to this version of Manilla 2.5 already:
* Background for all tabs + 16 icons on home screen
* Transparant slider
* I also have the bar transparant where the operator name is in.
I must say that this romversion is very stable and very fast in general. Also after applying those mods.
Who can help me with those 2 things left to make transparant.
Can you post the cab for transparent slider Thanks
Hi,
Can you post, as well, the cab for Background 4 all and 16 icons on home screen? The bg4all I found did not worked for this manila version and the 16 icons on home screen I did not find it at all.
Thank you.

Use HD Wall to create a wallpaper cab which also skins the top and bottom bars
transparency is fancy but it has made it hard for me to read. Can I change the background of the application list and even pull down notifications to black instead of transparent?
Can I also change the white menu's to have a black background?
So far the only thing I found I could change is the bottom soft-key bar. I don't want to use inverted mode either.
