I have an Htc touch Find (Polaris 200), I'd like to Install WM 6.5 and also Google Android in dual-boot mode. Im using a udK Syrius ROM at the moment and when i run Haret to boot Linux the device reboot on WM. Maybe im using a too old radio version (1.59.42.15) or maybe it's due to the ROM

I have just upgraded my XDA2 to Windows mobile 5 but have the following problems
My I try and sync with Activesync 4 the pc freeze's and resets itself?
Also how do I go about setting up MMS as there is no MMS settings / software installed

Where find WM5 ROM
I've see you already install the WM5, i really need to find that ROM for my XDAII can you give me a link to find it. I've try to buzz website but found ROM for Himalaya and the ROM version is 1.60.00WWE. I already upgrade my ROM into 1.72.00WWE from www.o2.co.uk but the OS is WinCE 4.20.
So is it ok to upgrade my O2 XDAII ROM with Himalaya XDAII ROM ? If something wrong can i rollback with older version ?
You cannot compare ROM numbers from (un)official WM 2003(SE) ROMs with those of unofficial WM 5.0 ROMs.
WM 5.0 1.60c ist much newer than WM 2003 1.72.xx

The problem with the i-mate is that it's not like HTC, nobody knows.

I have just downloaded the ROM update for the 8502. I have Vista and when i try to run the program I get an error message stating that "SFX v2.0 can not support Windows Vista"
What do I do know?

Just right click the executable, select properties, and click the compatibility tab and then tick run in compatibility mode for windows XP (SP2)

Tomtom does work on WM6.5
have been flashing alot of newer roms lately on 2 diamonds, haven't had any wm 6.5 rom that didn't run TomTom.
It sometimes does take unusual long to install (the install bar starts moving very slow), just be patient, it works.

I think you have to delete your map data and copy it again from your pc to your device.

I need to restore my HTC Touch diamond to the original WM 6.1 immediately.
I'm using Windows Revolution 7.1 Titanium & TF3D2.1 & TF3D & Clean [WM6.5] , RADIO: 1.15.25.14
used MTTY to upgrade.
So what do I need to do? Do I need to do anything with HardSPL and Radio,
or I just download the exe and the rom from htc.com and run it ?
and when I tried to download the official rom from htc, it says that

by default in the beginning also the htc diamond was sold with OS 6.1.
so i m afraid you cant find a 6.0 OS. but there is good news. you can download from microsoft the 6.0 OS emulator which can run the application you want.
personally i have even played skyforce in the emulator.
anyway the question remains whether you want to run this application on your diamond directly
