Tomtom does work on WM6.5
have been flashing alot of newer roms lately on 2 diamonds, haven't had any wm 6.5 rom that didn't run TomTom.
It sometimes does take unusual long to install (the install bar starts moving very slow), just be patient, it works.

I think you have to delete your map data and copy it again from your pc to your device.

Yes, Windows CE 6.0 is out. Hovewer Windows CE is not Windows Mobile.
WM Screenshots that recently float all over the Web is the screenshots of Windows Mobile "Crossbow". Crossbow is more of Windows Mobile 5 Second Edition, since it uses all WM5 internal architecture.
Windows Mobile that will use CE 6.0 "Yamazaki" kernel (and therefore will be numbered Windows Mobile 6.0) is codenamed Windows Mobile "Photon", and its still in the beginner works, long way to go, at least, before Crossbow goes out.
BTW did somebody promise even Crossbow firmware upgrade for Universal?

Some people have seen Universal running Crossbow.
Currently nothing can be promised as they are under NDA.
I use Mobile Office (from WM6) on my WM5...It works fine
... and I've seen that someone is now trying to use Windows Live also on WM5.
Do you have more information on it ?

You can get it from the ftp site, someone extracted it from some wm6 ROM, no idea how but it works fine

i have the same problem my friend doesnt though. I installed a new version which works but i am unable to crack it so that it connects to my generic gps receiver and not garmin's. I can seem to go in the about screen... it just hangs Any help is appreciated
mine is working fine in every wm 6.1 cooked roms I tried (pdacorner, pdaviet, mrh, faria, etc). Try to delete all the garmin folders then reinstall using latest garmin mobile xt windows mobile version including the support files and the basemap. Currently I'm using garmin mobile xt version 4.20.50wp

Since I upgraded my Diamond 2 (Topaz) with windows mobile 6.5 (build 21854 French) and seing so many more recent windows mobile 6.5 build (latest 23081 looks amazing), I wonder what is the Microsoft windows mobile 6.5 upgrade policy.
Will we ever be able to upgrade our devices WITHOUT flashing ROM ? I mean, will it be possible to have something like desktop windows update that will allow us to upgrade our build without the need of a hard reset ?
I clearly understand the need of upgrading whole ROM to go from one major version to another (6.0->6.1->6.5), but I don't see the point of flashing to go through 6.5 updates.

I have an Htc touch Find (Polaris 200), I'd like to Install WM 6.5 and also Google Android in dual-boot mode. Im using a udK Syrius ROM at the moment and when i run Haret to boot Linux the device reboot on WM. Maybe im using a too old radio version (1.59.42.15) or maybe it's due to the ROM
