Does anyone know if iMate are going to release windows mobile 6.1 for the 8502? i've tried emailing them and connecting to their stupid live help thing, but no one ever answers or replies to my messages.

It looks like there will be WM 6.1 for Ultimates.
We are waiting for the WM6.1 ou maybe one day a cooked rom.
The problem with the i-mate is that it's not like HTC, nobody knows.
I am french and Imate is not sold...

I have just downloaded the ROM update for the 8502. I have Vista and when i try to run the program I get an error message stating that "SFX v2.0 can not support Windows Vista"
What do I do know?

Just right click the executable, select properties, and click the compatibility tab and then tick run in compatibility mode for windows XP (SP2)

ERROR 270 image file is corrupted
Dear seniors please give me the instruction to upgrade my p3400 wm5 to wm6.1 because i run the gene_wm6.1 ruu but it will show error 270 image file is corrupted please check your upgrade utility..after 2% succefull complete,(cid unlocked already done,splash1 splash2 also copied to windows & installed the mda3_boot image).. please help me please please please.........

After upgrading to wm 6.1 my device just stay in a white screen showing onbl: 1.07.0000, spl:1.07.oref, gsm:02.79.90, os: 1.7.0.0 ,is this upgraded? And if upgraded then please say me why the white screen remain ? And how i recover my mobile gene 100

I was trying to upgrade my P3400 to 6.1 but I have a few problems
-the device doesn't start now...
but it does start when I press & hold camera and start it ... a screen with 3colors(red,green,blue) and every time I run the romUPDATEutility I get all kind of errors mainly I get [ERROR [300]: INVALID UPDATE TOOL]

I have an Htc touch Find (Polaris 200), I'd like to Install WM 6.5 and also Google Android in dual-boot mode. Im using a udK Syrius ROM at the moment and when i run Haret to boot Linux the device reboot on WM. Maybe im using a too old radio version (1.59.42.15) or maybe it's due to the ROM

MS don´t offer WM updates for end users so you have to await updates from vendors like HTC. But don´t wait for additional Artemis updates...
The last available official ROM for the Artemis is WM6.0. But be careful with USPL. The original version will brick your phone when you flash a custom firmware.

If you have already changed the USPL you can start with WM6.5
...
only if SPL is 1.11.cmon
if you don't have that SPL at device start-up, don't try flashing with a rom..
