I searched all the forums for this error. When i try to pull up hotmail on my internet browers it says that i need javascript to login in. I tried it on IE and Opera. There is some mention of it in other threads but not resolution for it. Can someone help me. I have a Tilt 2 with the stock 6.5 ROM.

I could never get Hotmail to work through Opera either. But that's what Windows Live is for -- to get Hotmail directly through the TF3D E-Mail tab.

Managed to upgrade my XDA Orbit to the original WM6 upgrade fine, was all running sweet. Had WLM set-up for my hotmail account. I wanted to use another hotmail for WLM so I decided to click on "Switch User"...... ehm now WLM is screwed. All my messenger contacts are gone from contacts, messenger will open but tries to sign in with no account?? It wont let me add another account, and I cannot set-up my hotmail for emails as it uses WLM to set it up. When I try to set it up for email, Windows Live just loads and never asks to set-up an account. I have tried reinstalling WLM but this just adds duplicate links and has the same issues?? LOL
Is there any way of "resetting" WLM (without having to hard reset my device?

Switching accounts works fine on mine. I am using the Touch-Flo ROM from on the site.
I have VP3G 3.0 rom on my 8525. I have both IE and Opera v8.65 installed. Interesting enough I cannot sign in ebay or other web sites under IE but with no problem under Opera. On the other hand, I cannot play Youtube (with FlashVideoBundle) under Opera but can under IE.
Could this due to javascript or cookies? The IE "Allow cookies" is checked. Anyone has a solution? Thanks.
I have just upgraded my T-Mobile Mda Compact II for a Compact IV and although I knew it would no longer have the Pocket MSN application on, I was convinced that I could buy it from Microsoft still.
Unfortunately, that 'page can no longer be found' and although I have found a link from another site it specifies that it is for Windows Mobile 5.
Basically what this application does is allow you to use Messenger and Hotmail accounts without opening a browser window, Ie, Hotmail is just another account in your phone, along with Outlook and the SMS/MMS account, and it would seem I can't live without it!
Can anyone tell me if they know why it has been discontinued, if there is a newer version or if there is something else to replace it?

Having problems setting up my hotmail inbox account on the touch flow 3d tab after a hard restart. Last time it just set up when i logged into msn and went throu the set up. but now its not working that way so I tried doing it throu the touchflow 3d tab still not working(looked like the same prosess as msn). Internet working and can log into my hotmail in opera. Did another hard restart but still nothing. Email was working and syncing up until restart.
I get this windows live message from msn “There was a problem signing you into messenger. It may be service or u may be in a place with bad reception. Pleas try again later” been trying for 2 days now
I get “sync failed” from the TF3D inbox
if i use the rong password or user name it lets me know so it dose log into hotmail, dont know what to do. this should be easy, did a search but didn’t come up with to much
Try this:
Go into the "All settings" menu from the settings tab
Then into "connections",
then into "connections" again
then go into "edit my proxy server"
then uncheck the "This network uses a proxy server" box, and try sync now!

Thanks, just tried that, still no good. it looked like the same process as msn and the TF3D tab “new account” maby it is a problem with hotmail. . . will try to set up another test hotmail account

Goto Messaging and create a new account from there.
Tried that one to same problem, mite go into a store and see if I can get them to fix it. if still no good would I be wrong in saying my phone is faulty and sending it back for a fix??
I don't get it... My ROM'ed Kaiser (Tilt) had Opera Mobile integrated into it, and if I set Opera to be a desktop, all the stupid sites with "mobile" versions would give me full versions instead. Including Yahoo Mail.
Now I get this Tilt 2, and Opera is set to identify itself as a desktop PC... but somehow Yahoo still senses it and switches to mobile view. Now the bottom of the main Yahoo page gives the desktop view as an option, but even if you select that, Yahoo mail ALWAYS goes back to mobile view. I HATE mobile view, how do I defeat this problem, and make Yahoo think I'm a desktop PC??? Is it a registry tweak? Like I said, Opera is indeed set to identify as a desktop pc.
