WiFi will not work

Dear All,
I have a PDA2K with ROM Version 1.40.00 WWE and ExtROM 1.40.176 WWE.
When I try to connect to a network using WiFi the PDA2k connects without any porblems to all networks. But when I try to use WiFi to surf the web with IE or use SkyPe the PDA2k always tries to connect using GPRS. Has anyone got any ideas?

repleace radio rom for operator of you phone or the rom inside is not set operator corectli

yeah, i have the same problem wifi connects to network fine, with ip, and good signal, but everytime i try to open a web page, i get page cannot be found. ive tried everything, going to back to orignal rom (cingular sx66 rom), changing radio rom to (1.15, 1.13) and also using 1.40 and 1.42 rom also. is my wifi really dead, can anyone help us out??

also, someone mention something about setting operator, if that's the solution, can anyone provide step by step, how on doing that??, i have the cingular sx66 w/o camera

looks like you have the same problem with mine.
At home i've managed to setting a wireless access point using a WIFI router (Linksys WRT54G), the xda's wifi status is connected with the router (as an accesspoint) but everytime tried to opening a webpage, it keep show the error message "the page cannot be found".
is it possible to utilizing the access point scheme above using my O2 Xda IIs?....
does anybody has sucessfull experience with the scheme i've tried to use above?...please share it with us.....

After upgrading my xda exec won't to connect to the wifi network

Hi Guys
've got a problem with my xda exec.
I've download the latest rom update from www.my-xda.com and i've upgraded it.
Now I got radio ver 1.09 and all its working ok butt i can't connect to any wifi.
With wifi is like this: its detecting wifi network (my home one) and after i've put my password its trying to connect but is dropping and showing me next network to connect and thats it.
Please any one help. I've tried to upgrade rom few time and its still like this I've even try wm6 but it didn't help either... what I should do???

No internet connection

Hello,
since a few days my HTC Desire couldn't establish an internet connection. On the internet icon (everytime grey instead green) at the notification bar, only one arrow blinks sometimes. The APN is correct and i tried different ROMs and Radios. What's now? I've no warranty anymore and without internet a smartphone is senseless.

What rom? Have you tried to install a new radio?
Did you flash anything before this error occured?

Tried 6 different radios and an ASOP Rom und a Sense Rom
No idea what I flashed before this error occured

Is this error only when you are connected with the mobile interent connection or also on wlan?

Tested another SIM (and carrier), but also no connection

I dont know, but it could be that a radio was not installed completely or wrong. Can you connect to the internet with wlan.

Now, I can't connect to carrier network. I tried various kernel still problem exist. Please help me to back network.

[Q] i747 Wifi not working...fix needed

Hi all, so here's my conundrum...the wifi in my Samsung i747 has ceased to connect to any wifi network. It scans and finds any network like normal but when i enter the password for the network it doesn't connect and goes back to 'saved' instead of 'connect' in the wifi settings menu. I tried re-flashing the stock rom, wiping data partitions, factory resetting and up until yesterday i flashed in the carbon rom with micro gapps to see if it would have worked but all has failed so far....any ideas anyone?

Can your phone make a receive calls and text messages? Can it connect to the carrier's data network?

yes i can connect to my local carrier and make calls...i am also able to get data services. if i use my laptop and repeat the wifi network the phone will connect to it but not directly to any wireless router. how do i find my bootloader, csc and modem info? tried *#1234# but probably how my rom is custom it's not working?

Since everything is working and you have tried custom ROMs.
To find information about your bootloader and modem, install the Samsung Phone Info app from the Play Store.
It's important to know the bootloader before flashing files.

It got this problem too, my phone is Modem NE4 , Imei and baseband is ok
pls show me how o fix this problem
