Has any one know how to find the spare parts for the LCD of my Imate Plz
Hey Broadband, if you wish, and until you find your new touch screen, you still may use your device with full functionality.
Download "Remote Screen Alignment" from http://www.codefactory.es/mobile_speak_pocket/msp_downloads.htm#5
This program will enable you to bypass the align screen even after a hard reset.
Then download fakecursor.exe, which will give you a pointer on the screen. you should assign a hardware key to enable/ disable the fakecursor as it cancels the functions of some hardware keys on your device such as answering/ending phone calls.
I'm using my K-jam with no problems and it's touch screen is broken, no more need for me to search for a new touch screen every few months.
Hope this helps

Hello all,
I can't see all available programs and system functions on the today screen customization window. Energy/battery and mouse mode applets are missing for example. Same goes for the harware button mapping window.
Is there a windows registry hack to add these functions to the today screen, rather than installing a third party app?
Also, is there a way to disable GPRS connection by default and make it to ask you whenever it connects? I have no flat data rate and Tomtom sometimes tries to connect to get traffic data..
Thanks..
hi! im using gps tuner with artemis touch 4.1 and can minimise it, or use another program with the cube, however i cant restoremaximise it to use it again, and must repower on my phone.. ny suggestions would be appreciated.
Have you tried the taskmanager? the little down arrow in the top left hand corner of your screen. clicking on that(should give you all running apps).
Failing that, you should also have taskmanager in your programs window which will show you all running processes and then you switch to the correct process that way.
Yesterday I still used display switch icon in my Blackstone, this morning this icon has disappeared. I found its' link in Programs, but it hasn't worked. In windows I can't find display switch.exe or .lnk. I have used softreset many times and nothing improved. I don't like to perform hardreset because I installed too many programs in HD.
Please help me find file display switch.exe or the same or may I can use other softwares to screen off ?
Thanks everybody,
I have just resolved this problem.
First, I knew icon display switch (DS) having screen off function that related to file psshutXP.exe so whenever file psshut.exe was moved to other location, DS with old link couldn't find psshutXP.exe and DS didn't work !!. When file psshutXP.exe was moved to former location, DS has normal screen off function again.
Second, I have found 2 tiny softwares have screen off function. They are "Screen Switch" and "Black me" but now I 'm using Screen Switch. With one of them we can save HD power when play music.

the problem is that I cannot calibrate my touchscrren.....the screen is not broken, but although I can't pass the calibration.....the screen respond incorrectly to taps....i press the start button at top but it opens the contacts which are located at the bottom....that is why I'm asking for calibrationData from other BA users
i just aligned my screen, so the values should be fairly accurate. the exact value of the key <CalibrationData> is:
Code:
503,511_152,244_160,775_862,774_861,255_
replace all _ with spaces, i just used them to make it more obvious, especially that there is one at the very end of the line.

1. Download the latest activesync and connect your mda to your computer and verify your device is connected(not as guest)
2. Perform a soft/hard reset on your MDA then tap your screen to start the screen alignment wizard
3. Download the remote screen alignment tool attached and install it on your machine.
4. Download the wiza200.txt file attached and rename it to WIZA200.dat then put it in the C:\Program Files\Code Factory\Remote Screen Alignment directory on your computer
5. Ensure your MDA is connected to your pc(A green activesync Icon usually indicates a connection )
6. Open the remote screen alignment tool on your pc meanwhile your phone be displaying the alignment screen wizard.
7. Click SKIP in the screen alignment tool.
Assuming everything went fine a message box displaying "The operation has been completed successfully. Your device will be restarted." should pop up on your computer and your device should restart. Afterwards your phone will run the files it always does when you do a soft/hard reset then you touch screen should be properly calibrated and work fine.

I've done everything as you said....it just bypassed the calibration screen after hard reset...It can be made much easier by copying WELCOME.NOT to a storage card and hard reset the device....
My problem still remains

I don't think I can resolder it by myself because I don't have the necessary tools....perhaps I will have to go to a service center and repair it or buy a new digitizer from ebay (((((
The history?Everything worked fine until one morning when I realised that there is a problem with touchscreen....Before going to sleep I adjusted my alarm clock and went to sleep...in the mornig when I woke up the touchscreen didn't work properly anymore
+1 on the digitizer replacement. If you already did the calibration by hand, that means that the digitizer is messed up. Alternatively, you could try to play with values since it might only be an off-set (I reach this conclusion after seeing that you have tried Chef's values and the behavior changed). The only problem with this is the fact that it is trial and error
Great work bros longlife & more greant works
It worked perfectly
Sounds like some dust or sand between cover and the digitizer or somehow twisted cover. Try to dismantle and reassemble. In case, one of the screws is loose use super-glew to fix it. Clean or replace the double sided tape that fixes the screen.
