WiFi will not work

Dear All,
I have a PDA2K with ROM Version 1.40.00 WWE and ExtROM 1.40.176 WWE.
When I try to connect to a network using WiFi the PDA2k connects without any porblems to all networks. But when I try to use WiFi to surf the web with IE or use SkyPe the PDA2k always tries to connect using GPRS. Has anyone got any ideas?

repleace radio rom for operator of you phone or the rom inside is not set operator corectli

yeah, i have the same problem wifi connects to network fine, with ip, and good signal, but everytime i try to open a web page, i get page cannot be found. ive tried everything, going to back to orignal rom (cingular sx66 rom), changing radio rom to (1.15, 1.13) and also using 1.40 and 1.42 rom also. is my wifi really dead, can anyone help us out??

also, someone mention something about setting operator, if that's the solution, can anyone provide step by step, how on doing that??, i have the cingular sx66 w/o camera

also got same probs...
Please someone give us step by step guide how to encounter this problems...also,im a novice in this forum...so please help me...

looks like you have the same problem with mine.
At home i've managed to setting a wireless access point using a WIFI router (Linksys WRT54G), the xda's wifi status is connected with the router (as an accesspoint) but everytime tried to opening a webpage, it keep show the error message "the page cannot be found".
is it possible to utilizing the access point scheme above using my O2 Xda IIs?....
does anybody has sucessfull experience with the scheme i've tried to use above?...please share it with us.....

My dash wifi cannot connect please help

I tryed all windows mobile 6.5 rom but my dash couldnt connect any networks.
how is fixed this problem please help

Try your stock ROM to see if wi-fi works? If no stock ROM available try a 6.1... Then @ least you rule out hardware..

Have you tried many different networks? In different locations?
My Dash couldn't connect to my home WiFi, but could elsewhere. I eventually completely deleted and reconfigured my home network and it's worked fine ever since.

I tried in home wireless network with changed all settings(wpa2-web, network name and security) but it can not connect

I have solved my problem with flash firmware of adsl modem I am so sorry to keep bussy:
Airties 6271 firmware version Air 6271 1.2.0.10 firmware is down stupid firmware

I am using the same modem and the same firmware but i can't connect the network, how did you fix it? what's your modem settings sincap ?
and also are you using Biri Adsl I think, isn't it?

mourndare I connect internet via Biri Adsl company and use Airties 6271 modem.My dash connect internet when airties modem firmware is 1.5.10 .

[Q] Problem in 3G

I got this problem when i use DroidVPN.
i don't remember what exact happens.
One day I use DroidVPN to access a Free Internet access.
and after i finished use it.. i close this application and my disable my 3G
but after that. i try to use again the DroidVPN
Same action . try to Open my 3G yes I enable it.
but theres no "H" or "Up/Down" Symbol that says my 3G is enable.
and when i browse there's no internet connection.
how can i fix this issue.

Unrooted My Phone
Format it into Stock ROm.
Try To flashed Diff. KErnels and ROm.
Try to change SIm.
but nothing Happens.

there is network down..stupid me, I already flashed my rom to factory reset..

I just root my note II. After that I turn on wify and now my phone dont have data connection.
Cannot connect to 3g, the h sign change from 3g h h+.
The bad part is I dont know it is because root or the wify. But I think it is the wify, because my data connection error when I turn off wify.
Airplane on off also cannot.
Please help me......

Network Problem - Cant connect to Network!

Hi,

Now, I can't connect to carrier network. I tried various kernel still problem exist. Please help me to back network.
