Organising shortcuts - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

When I install new applications they all appear in the startmenu. I would like to move these to the application folder in the start menu.
I tried moving them in the file explorer on my pc, but this is not working.
How can I organise this?

Have your tried moving them (copy/cut and paste) using the File Explorer on the TP2? That should work.

i usually do file explorer on my PC and go into the windows folder and then into start menu and grab them from the programs folder...

Here's the easy way!
Check out LnkMgr v0.0.2.7
It allows you to create shortcuts for EXE's and categorize them en masse.

You can use a file browser that has a search feature.

I can't verify that this works right now (although coming from Chris, I'm sure it does) but I can write you a script to do this if you need it. I don't think these files come back on boot or anything, right? But if you have a ton of these files, it might be helpful.

[GUI] Ftp in Opera worked

Hi guys, today i try access in NAS (Buffalo LS-CL) at home with Opera Mobile and it's had worked in my mozart
- Only for device full unlock (custom rom)
- Folder create in NAS not set permission or password.
- Files (xap) rename (zip), and files image, text... to cause unchanged
- Copy from NAS to WP7 very fast (2Mb/s wifi)
- Use app wPhoExplorer to My Documents in you device, rename (zip to xap and install)
(sory, my English very bad)

Did the same thing different software...nd using htc hd2 running android via wifi file manager
u can try "HFS file server" and use internet explorer
All WebFtp sites (Net2FTP) works with authorisation too. But, look for WP7 native FTP application.

Anyone?
jpg. should work, it's probably a problem with your file manager, or you should use your file manager to pick your bitmaps. I use ES file manager and have no problems, but with my Stock file manager I had the same problem. Hope this helps.

Don't have access to a folder on sdcard

On my internal sdcard I have a folder called stuff that I made to put rom zips in. For some reason I cannot create new folder's, delete files or anything. The only way I can modify what's in that folder is to go into TWRP and do it through there. Anyone know a fix?
I would guess that you have folder/file permissions issues. There will be many file managers that will display the permissions eg Root Explorer/Explorer ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer.

Explanation of the rwxrwxrwx strings see https://www.linux.com/learn/understanding-linux-file-permissions
Since you have no access then you either need to use the app that created the folder or you need to be root. Root Explorer will allow you to edit the rights as root.
This is what happens whenever I try to change the permissions.
Without searching for an explanation of the error message - does TWRP use its own partition? With root permissions I'd expect to be able to open any folder and copy any files to a new folder. I'm no expert on partitions and file systems so no more suggestions from me other than looking for a TWRP forum.

How install app as system app

i try install continuum on my device, but I installed a newer version than I have on my phone. i did hard reset and delete files using cmd. today i try install this package yourself. I copied files, and write small phyton sctipt(to convert xml manifest in to bat) to export registry values. now continuum work fine but dockingHostApp сrashes at launch.
I know continuum it a system app, but i no ideas how install it as system app.
PS. I have problems in other app like Interop tool(from store) and iotDefaultApp, they write error 8007005 (access error)
PS2. if I find a way to make this application work, everyone will be able toinstall and UNINSTALL contunuum without iutools
