Internet Connection

I am trying to access the internet from my laptop using my O2 PDA as the modem with no success. I can access the internet on the phone OK. I link the phone to the laptop using the usb cable but I'm unable to access the internet.
I am running Vista Home Premium and Windows mobile 6.
Any suggestions?
Hi,
Enable Internet Connection Sharing option found in the Setting of the Mobile. This is a add on from WM 6 onwards.

Whre abouts exactly. I have looked through the settings and can't find it
Start>Settings>Connections Tab>Internet Sharing.

Using Wi-fi to surf the internet using Interent Explorer Mobile

Could someone help me, I am using WM 6.1. How do I get Internet Explorer Mobile or Opera mini to use my Wi-Fi connection instead of the cellular network. I tried to Google it but no luck.
turn off the phone and turn on wifi.

Wi-Fi should be the preffered network over GPRS EDGE.
Someone will have a better answer than me, but what you can do is go to your GPRS setting in settings\connections\GPRS and change the GPRS from being on Internet to Work, not the greatest way but i use it to stop GPRS due to being on a very limited data package.
I put the GPRS connection to work, and i think its using my wifi connection now. Can Opera mini use the wifi connection or is it only GPRS, when i try to go to a site it might cost me airtime.

Mini can use wi-fi, the way you will tell not using GPRS is that above the signal bar u will not have a little g, not to be confused with the big G in the middle of top to which just says GPRS is available.

Internet connection problem

Anyone having issues with internet connection with rhodium? Certain websites are not for WAP, but some how the phone seems to connect automatically using WAP.
The same webpage (wap.getmsl.com) cannot open on rhodium but can be opened in tytn 2 using the same sim card. Tytn 2 is using WM 6.1 and rhodium is using EnergyROM_21885_RHODIUM_31.Dec.2009_Standard. Am asking this because the developer of a stock trading software has asked me to try opening the webpage, if it opens then ISP is not blocking the IP.
The stock trading software cannot seem to connect to the internet. I am currently based in Shanghai, China. Using the China Mobile sim card inside touch pro2 cannot seem to connect to the internet. But using a Malaysia (Celcom3G) sim card in the touch pro 2 it can connect.
Is there anything that is blocking this internet connection on the touch pro 2?
