Iv been using Windows Mobile 6.5 (build; 23088) for a few days now and i am really liking it. It doesnt have the flare of manillia but i am finding it more reliable.
I do however have a few questions regarding it. I have searched both XDA developers and google but iv really struggled to find any usable fixes.
1) How can i change the default Windows Mobile 6.5 icons on the home screen. For example i would like the weather to be on one of them, and i want to try and get rid of the calender icon.
2) the default media player (windows media player) i find useless at playing my music so id like to change it to coreplayer, is there any tweaks to swop them over? The same with Internet, and changing the internet explorer over to Opera 9.7.
Would really appreciate any advice on the above, iv really struggled to find answers elsewhere.

Thanks for the response mate, but i don't think i was very clear. I use the below setup, and its those shortcuts i want to change. Add a weather one, change the media player over and remove the calender etc.

course you're not going to find it because you dont even know what it's called. Try Titanium or Chome editor like this

I got some nice themes thanks. but im not sure how to install these dialer skins, there are many files, do i just put them on the phone or what?
just put cab file directly onto your device, and click on it on your device....
then ti installs...
But will using the skins frm Pauly A and the Iphone skin disabled the Smart Dialing function? Or will I be able still using this Smart Dial function?

Try http://www.zombienexus.net,you'l find lots of dialer skins and most of them have the smart dialer function enabled,installing them is quite easy too as they only come in a single cab which is installed in the main memory.
It's best to make a complete backup of your phone before installing any diallers just in case you have any issues when you remove them.

Yes you do and then soft reset,never had a problem with uninstalling.Also try the Jimmy vista bkack dialer skin in the wizard forum,think its in the super rom thread.
Joey Jojo, the version u uploaded here doesnot have smartdialling. please check it and let us know how to activate it, if its there in it.

hey, i have the HTC home plugin, but my digital clock is not as nice as yours. i do not see the 'option' to change it. how did you do that?

currently no and no i think. Why do you want to use WMP instead of the audio manager? I love audio manger for a few reasons and why it is better than WMP.
Flicking through songs is easier, you get the album art, when you soft reset your phone it only goes back the beginning of the current song not the whole playlist like WMP and finally its on a touchFLO tab.
i agree on all those points, however the way it looks and feels I think is so annyoing. So I think we need another option with better design but same functionality

Guys i try alot of diferent programs for listening music i try MORT player witch many peoples say is the best i try around 5 other and finaly what i can say from all this expirience is that!
The default Audio Player in the Touch Flo is the best not only because is very finger friendly and easy to use.. the default audio player also have very good crystal sound!
Im saying this because i use very high tech speakers and NO ONE Audio Player that i test can beat the default Audio Player so you don`t have any reason to remove it?!
I cant live without listening music on the Touch Flo

Since the music player in TF3D is essentially part of a skin anyway I think your best bet is to find another player if you're not happy with it.

Ok I'm lost, I'm usung a touch HD for one week now and I have Windows mobile 6.1
I prezume you have a Windows mobile 6.5. That because you have those two more tabs, the shortcuts on today screen above the tabs and the weather bellow the clock. Am I right ?
I've also seen some screen shots with another icon before People for missed calls. I don't know what version is that.

One very small problem though (in my HTC HD2).
When the slider selects the calendar tab or the email tab, the selection does not matches the date number in the calendar tab. Same for the bubble with email numbers in the email tab.

Hello! If you've used OblyTile in the past, you'll know what an excellent piece of software it is. I always thought that the process of resizing icons was a bit tedious though, and when my Windows 8 install corrupt itself, I couldn't be bothered to start again. OblyAutomator should provide a solution to this. My website hosts an online database with applications, and icons that are suitable for each application. Users are presented with a choice of icons, and OblyAutomator calls OblyTile with the correct parameters, which creates the new tile.

Attached is OblyAutomator. It also requires OblyTile (v0.91) in the same directory. Also included is TileUploader, which allows you to add links to icons to the database. I will moderate these, so your icon link won't appear until I've decided that it's suitable and of a high quality.
I'm not sure if there's a demand for an app like this. This is a very early version, and may have a lot of bugs. Please post your thoughts and comments below!

If it doesn't recognise all of your apps, then it must not have them in the database! I will have a look at the database and see what icons people are requesting, and try and add some more. Feel free to add them yourself though!
Currently there are 5500 apps that have been found, but only 24 of them have icons! Not all of the 5500 apps are ones that you'd want on your start screen, but today I'll be looking through for some popular apps to make tiles for.
