I just got my new t-mobile compact III, and I need a website where I can get some cool skins (other than the standard ones) and maybe a place to get some cool programs. where can I find that? I kinda searched around this website, I dont think there is a section for that though.

I got some nice themes thanks. but im not sure how to install these dialer skins, there are many files, do i just put them on the phone or what?
just put cab file directly onto your device, and click on it on your device....
then ti installs...
But will using the skins frm Pauly A and the Iphone skin disabled the Smart Dialing function? Or will I be able still using this Smart Dial function?

Try http://www.zombienexus.net,you'l find lots of dialer skins and most of them have the smart dialer function enabled,installing them is quite easy too as they only come in a single cab which is installed in the main memory.
It's best to make a complete backup of your phone before installing any diallers just in case you have any issues when you remove them.

Yes you do and then soft reset,never had a problem with uninstalling.Also try the Jimmy vista bkack dialer skin in the wizard forum,think its in the super rom thread.
Joey Jojo, the version u uploaded here doesnot have smartdialling. please check it and let us know how to activate it, if its there in it.

Hi guys, does anybody know how to change the dialer skin on our artemis?
I tried to look around the forums but I didn't find anything specific for our device... can I use the same procedure used for other devices?
I mean to install eten dialer skin etc.....
Any suggestion is welcomed!!!
One last (and probably stupid) question: with a hard reset I will have back my original dialer in any case is it?

yes, you can use any Dialer written for Windows Mobile 5, just install it, Soft-Reset and of you go
Hard-Reset will indeed replace your phone-dialer with the default one, delivered by your carrier. You can also most likely delete your dialer Skin with the "delete Programs" command in your Pocket PC's Settings.

I have installed the first blue skin on my french artemis and it works well. I prefer the Eten style dialer because the keys are bigger than the standard one and it's more convenient for a "one hand" use.

Yeah, that was the third link i wanted to publish, but i misplaced the URL so i couldn't post it. Glad you found it too ^^ I have "Lime" installed, very nice. "Blissed" is also really cool, but the white font of the dialer Text is sometimes hard to read. But great work!
Do you have any problems skinning the call history icons? I just can't get them to change from either the default windows blue ones or perhaps they are an O2 Skin, whatever, I can't get rid of them. HELP!

i have installed a new dialer skin in my p3300, but i have a problem:
the phone dialer is showed fine, but the calls history and speed dialer
is showed with the default skin.
i have searched at the windows directory and the outgoining, in and missed calls icon as the newly skin aspect.
i have searched at all windows directories and i'm not capable to find the default icons...
is posible that the old missed, in and out call icons are in a dll ??

Would be an awesome idea. The current touch keyboards are nice aswell but this really looks ace. I think that it would be possible to extract just the keyboard, would'n get why not.

yeh but I don"t want to use touchpal...I want to keep the default keyboard
touchpal is not the same as yota keyboard...
what i really like about yota keyboard is that its quite precise and that it also has the free space before the letters "a" and "l" which makes them easier to use if your HD is in a case.
any news about this guys ???

yeah I was looking for the same dialer and installed Manillav2Eng on my hermes
but it doesnt dial out nor do any smart dialing it just does nothing after I punch in some numbers and press the green button/or the phone's call button to dial.
I don't have netcf 3.5 would that be the reason?

Dialer does not have smart dialing; you can only call and view history (price for such big buttons). No need for NET3.5 whatsoever.
Love it but the hold button is disappearing while I'm in call and the add call+ doesn't do anything when I click it.

i totally agree with you. with MS changing rapidly, so many complications arise
you can install this dialer found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154&highlight=blackstone+dialer which will give you the slide option to anser calls and also gives you a better dialer look imo.
@protiku: Have you found a program that just provides the slide to answer and unlock? I'm going to take wang_mk's advice/post/link advice.
@wang_mk: Thank you. I viewed the page, but again, so many downloads and options. I do not want Manila like my Fuze; I just wat the slide to answer and slid to unlock for the Xperia. What files will provide this? I do not want task managers, volume control, etc. Thanks!!
at the moment am using pocketshield, the only fault is it doesnt use the default xperia dialer, it reverts to windows default dialer. but its really cool.

Not necessarily, you can use it as well with Xperia default dialer. In Settings > Phone > Slide to answer > + > uncheck 'Yes'.
all you need is this.
One app I keep using a lot of the time is the notes application.
Just to quickly jot something down, or to look up something I wrote earlier.
It would be great if there were a new tab integrated into Touchflo (or Sense, whatever)
I know how to do a bit of programming of my own, but no idea how to create something which would add a new tab to another program such as TF3D.
But yeh, I'm just putting the idea out there.
Please comment if you like this idea.
I hope someone out there will find the time to attempt making this, as it would be a great addition for Touchflo.

Select notes along the slider on the right.
To make a new note, slide to the top one (which is blank)
start drawing on it.
Press the tick button, bottom right to save
To delete, slide to the note you want to delete, then click the delete
button, bottom right.

If you could find a notes today plugin program you could use the manila today tab program you referenced.
That is not a "tab" persay. It displays the today screen and therefor you can show a today plugin, but not add any specific manilla features.
