Heck I'm confused I use Satin and that is the exact dialer I have I just checked..
1) Download tweak app like "pimp my black" or "HTCustom"
2) UNcheck "3G Video Dialer"
3) Soft-reset
Ross
I think this dialer is in Faria's rom v1

Be careful with Inesoft. Their latest version (I believe it is Phone 4.54) changes your dialer to an ugly WM 5 dialer. The only way to get rid of it is to hard reset your device. I tried installing dialers over it but they would not take. I let support no of the problem weeks ago but still no response.
For me Inesoft is working very well
do not afraid - u can install with no problem
I need biiger fonts in contacts, caller id etc so I just installed Inesoft 4.54 and all is working OK

I wasn't saying to be afraid of installing Inesoft Phone 4. I was just informing those who would be interested to know of the dialer change it brings with the install. Inesoft has a very nice dialer that links to the phone button, but once you're in the call it reverts to an ugly WM 5 dialer.
iconsoft!!!
Hi my friends.I use PhonEx from ICONSOFT and i think is the best app for your contacts and for your fullscreen Caller ID. Beautyfull design ....try this....

This looks like a nice program here, a little similar to Inesoft Phone 4...I may give this a try.
yota contact
I also use Iconsoft Phonex 1.3
A very nice Fullscreen CallerID and with a simple UI
PhonEx may be just what you are looking for. They just released version 1.3.5 which also happens to include a wvga skin. It works really well on my HD and you can change the font size of almost everything. Well worth the money. Their contact manager is also pretty good. The best part is that you can enable/disable modules as required. Better than inesoft in my opinion.
Caller ID
its a long time ago, when I asked for any callerID program. Is there something new to try and of course working well ???
thx
I can tell you that you need PhonEx now have version 2.1
Its super Fast, Stable, and Useful.
Easy to use interface, very beauty and smart.
Also the Images Appear on Full Screen and this is just one SUPER SOFTWARE

Open up the Resco Contacts settings and go to the "General" tab. Put a check mark in "Handle Incoming Calls" and soft reset your device. That should fix it for you.
I already do that, but its the same, I dont know why

How to Enable Video Call on Diamond w/WM6.5

I need advice. Can anyone advice how to enable the videocall on Diamond with WM6.5?? Appreciate
in germany you need umts. i think it the same what 3g was by apple. dont really know, but normal gsm is to slow for viedo.
the same question!
Anybody?
I've never made a video call but... First turn on your 3g in comm manager, if not enabled, then check if your rom's dialer has video call button. Then, at least in my country it's that way, call your operator to see if video call is supported with your plan and activate it if not, then the person you are calling should also have it enabled and supported. Then all should be working.
Is it because the video call option isnt there on your dialer?
Thats whats holding me back from WM6.5..
Video is part of the HTC dailer not the MS one thats included. You will need to install the HTC dailer. Take note tho, your lock screen will not work fully anymore, and on some dailer versions, if you scroll, text will overlap from both dail pads. I don't run any of this but following Miri's thread, this is what has generally been reported.
Looks like WM6.5 is still very experimental at this stage.
I don't really use the lock feature anyway, but overlapping text scrolling would be a prob.
I'm mainly interested in WM6.5 coz Im wondering if I would be happier with it's default today screen.. so I can make do without TF3D, thus leaving it with more memory left.
Any soul here can lead us to the HTC video dialpad which actually works well with WM6.5?
I had the same problem and I solved installing this two cabs found on the forum......
Install first "VideoTelephony_Diamond_Swtos"

Maybe we can disable certain dailer PAD, it will make your system cannot support video call.

[Q] TopMost issue with WinMo 6.5 Pro

I use the application Caller Utility which gets the unknown caller ids .. it used to work fine on 6.1 devices like HTC HD but now with new devices like HD2, Touch2 and Imagio it doesn't work correctly..
the problem is when reviving a call the form pops up for a second and then goes behind the HTC Phone window.. and only appears again once you answer the call ...
this problem on exists on incoming calls and not outgoing calls..
any help would be appreciated..
and this is the code i'm using
http://callerutility.svn.sourceforge.net/
no takers?

Try this. I have not tested it myself!
http://www.netripper.com/winmo/CallerUtility_papadocta.cab
It has TopMost set to true on the form.
thank you so much NetRipper for the reply..
still didn't work it appears for a few seconds and then dives behind the htc dialer .. this only happens on incoming calls and not outgoing!

Ok. Try this version then. It should work.
http://www.netripper.com/winmo/CallerUtility_papadocta_v2.cab
Note that the window does flicker, because HTC Dialer wants to stay on top as well.. within a few milliseconds the CallerUtility will regain topmost again.

Try disabling the htc dialer skin (as a bonus, you'll save 10 MB of ram).

Need application for voice record which works in background

Hi, Everyone.
I have a very specific question.
I need an application which works in background to record sound.
Just like the standard one of the tp2 at notes, but it has to be invinsible. So if you look at the screen.
Thanks in advance.. Waiting for your advise !!
dude, you heard winmo in multitasking yet?
you run voice recorder and cover it with something else,
or minimize after run. tapping X should just minimize(=hide)
or if you want, get and install mortscript, and create this file:
silentREC.mscr
==========
Run("\windows\Recorder.exe","")
Sleep( 3000 )
SendSpecial( "LeftSoft" )
Minimize ( "Voice")
====
then put shortcut to the mscr file into statr mneu
Search for ACR on xda I think that you are looking for that program.
