Nope, If you use that rom on a Diamond1 It will brick your phone. There are plenty of 6.5 roms up here for the Diamond 1, just make sure you have HSPL and everything should be fine.

how about unpack the ROM of Diamond2 and pack it for Diamond 1?

There's some great ROMs out there. What's the risk of bricking my Artemis/ P3300 phone if I try a WM6 or 6.1 ROM cooked for another WM phone?
I get the impression that the Artemis has got all or more hardware capabilities of other phones, so what's the risk if I try say the iFonz cooked for the Trinity on my P3300?

i suggest that you don't try roms for other phones on artemis it'll probably brick it
if youknow how to, recook the rom for artemis...use same ext rom as that one but radio and os for artemis...

i had some issue with this rom, installing it i had no ring for incoming call and shell32.exe crashed making impossible saving changes for sound settings, so i couldn't use it. i tried it with olinex spl and original spl thinking for a compatibility problems, but it wasn't, so i come back to te older 1.93.408.3... i downloaded exactly this file... did you have some problem with?
otherwise i could see it is faster then older one, it has 10% more free memory (just flashed and booted it has about 49/50% memory usage.. the 1.93.408.3 has 56-60% memory usage and it make free less memory using and closing applications) and, it has 77mb free against about 55mb...
I've not yet flashed my device with this rom (I'll flash it only for warranty reasons), but I'm curious: ervius, did you have problems with your H3G branded rom?

if you need for warranty reason you can also flash the old official italian rom and use original spl, my diamond arrived with the official rom and not with h3g rom...

Is it possible to flash an Artemis ROM on Love. Because got a very cheap new Htc P3350 and want to flash it with the original German ROM.
I know how to hard SPL and so on. I only want to know if all the tools and ROMs will work?

Yes they will Work.
But do not flash with original ROMs or you will brick your device.
Just run USPL and then flash it with a ROM without IPL or SPL.

No you do not have to hard-spl to install an officaly released ROM, but it must be for your phone/carrier or it will give you an error.
what if I have already done the hard spl and am currently using an Energy Rom and when Tmo releases the "official" 6.5 Rom, can I just install it or do I need to reinstall the original boot loader before I try the tmo upgrade??

You can load any rom whether its cooked up with home made goodness or the factory bloated one with HardSPL on the phone. What the HardSPL does is bybasses the checks for signatures and allows the cooked roms to be loaded. It will do the same for a factory rom although it should pass the checks anyways.
Where to get the Official 6.5 ROM (Not a cooked ones).

then you can download a wm6.5 kitchen and cook it by yourself. look for gen.y r5.3 kitchen for example,there's a wm6.5 addon too. or if you prefer 6.5.3/6.5.5 there's a thread about it here. btw there's a bunch of stock-like cooked roms,light and not customized at all.
