I have a naive question, do we need to hard-SPL our device to install the official ROM? for example from official WM 6.1 to offcial WM 6.5? or official WM6.5 US to official WM6.5 Euro? (GSM VERSIONS)

No you do not have to hard-spl to install an officaly released ROM, but it must be for your phone/carrier or it will give you an error.
what if I have already done the hard spl and am currently using an Energy Rom and when Tmo releases the "official" 6.5 Rom, can I just install it or do I need to reinstall the original boot loader before I try the tmo upgrade??

You can load any rom whether its cooked up with home made goodness or the factory bloated one with HardSPL on the phone. What the HardSPL does is bybasses the checks for signatures and allows the cooked roms to be loaded. It will do the same for a factory rom although it should pass the checks anyways.

I had an HTC s621 that I unlocked and patched to the T-Mobile WM6 rom prior to the official HTC WM6 ROM being released. I had to blitz the phone back down to the official WM5 HTC ROM before I could do the SPL update and then the official WM6 HTC ROM.
Just create a Guest connection using ActiveSync, and run the update. I had to do a hard reset on the device first before the WM5 ROM would run over the top, don't know why.

I from Brazil and my rom is in protuguese. I caled HTC here in Brazil and they told me tha there is no prevision to relese the WM6 here. so I dicided to flash the WM6 in english But I want keep my rom to flash it again if i need to send it to HTC.

Hello, do you know, where I can download a "CLEAN/original" english version of WM6.1 on the HTC P3600? Now I use clean WM6, i like it, i dont want modify or cooked rom of WM6.1 because I preffere the clean original version

There is no official release version out yet. Microsoft has yet to release it. It's still in Beta.
Hi all - I have a Samsung i780 that I bought in The Philippines in April 2008. It still has the original ROM (DXHA1) and I was putting off upgrading it to 6.1 when I started to see 6.5 ROMs on here.
I've seen some mentions of the "Russian ROM" and in one of the upgrading guides, it said that I have to upgrade to this before I can upgrade to anything else.
Can I do a straight upgrade from DXHA1 to one of the WM 6.5 builds posted on here now, or do I need to perform this intermediate step? I still love the phone and don't want to brick it
