Has anybody found a reliable and bug-free way to increase volume on the Tilt2 for headset and speakerphone? There are a lot of threads out there discussing audiopara files, but it is somewhat confusing to figure out which ones to use.
Dear Germanguy,
I succesfully boosted my Phone's Earpiece by modifying the audio para,
Beware the SPEAKER is boosted ASWEL! And I'm not responsible for any possible loss of warenty, damage, NOTHING!
Tell me if you like it
you can try the "audio para" cab i dont know the link but you can search for it in "tricks & cabs" . it worked for my TP2...Tj
how do you install this? it's not a cab?

Unfortunately this did not change anything on my Tilt2. Thanks anyway. Anybody else have had success with increasing volume on the ATT Tilt 2?
Does the audiopara3 file also increase mic sensitivity??
This worked for me with no ill effects so far.

Mine is an ATT tilt 2, and this fix was a beautiful thing. fixes the ear piece and external speaker.

Hey Guys It appears that I'm not the only one who feels TP2 volume is a little on the low side. For some it may be just fine. I have installed attached Audiopara4 file on my T-Mobile TP2 and man it makes it SUPERLOUD. The only problem is that while it increases the ringer and system volume substantially when I call someone they can't hear me on the other end. I was wondering if any of you TP2 Specialist (Smile) could take this file and experiment with it a little and see if someone could tweak it so we can enjoy the SUPERLOUDNESS
The Audiopara3 file that someone has already supplied for our phones is ok, but once you install this one its MEGA. I've attached the file below along with Audiopara3 zip just in case someone wants to revert back during the experiment. Thanks for your help.
Hmmmmmmm I tried the AudioPara 3 cab a while back and it increased the InCall volume significantly, are both of those files needed?
Only advice I could give is to try another radio if there not able to hear you on there end.

Just the AudioPara4 file is to be experimented with. I attached the AudioPara3
file for those that need to revert back to original Audiopara3.cvs file already in TP2 windows directory. I'm currently using radio 4.46.25.24 and it appears to be ok. Have you tested AudioPara4 yet?
hey there
i have 2 questions 1 does this increase bluetooth vol? i noticed a slight change in speakerphone vol.. but not much on my stereo bt ... and 2 with these csv files .. do i delete the other ones in the windows folder? i have:
AudioPara.csv
AudioPara3.csv
AudioPara3_ATT.csv
AudioPara3_Boot.csv
AudioPara3_TMO.csv
and now..
AudioPara4.csv

I have not, what are the differences from Audio3?
Hi, I'm a complete newb and I'd like me TP2 to have louder rings and system sounds, especially the speakerphone. Only problem is I have the Verizon TP2 Global version with both CDMA and GSM capability. Am I in the wrong area, if so could you point me in the right way. Oh, I live in Southern California and just purchased my Verizon TP2 about a week and a half ago.
TIA

major ringtone system volume increase. Mega.
I am afraid of blowing a speaker?? Has this happened to anyone?
It has not cabranscom, blowing your speaker would only be possible if you raised the volume to max everytime when using the speakerphone which you'd then be damaging your ears as well lol
I still feel like mine is rather quiet as well, particularly the earpiece. Where did you get this Audiopara4 file?
jcc332006,
Did you ever get the Audiopara4 to work properly. I really like the super loudness of all the system sounds on my TouchPro2, but when I turn on the speaker for a phone call, I just get hiss and crackles. Back on the standard Audiopara3 for now.

Where exactly did you find the audiopara4 files? Is there a thread that I missed???
does anyone kno if this works on the clarity of the sound out of the headphone jack too?
Has anyone come up with a working solution for the low speaker volume during phone calls on the Touch Pro2? Tried the Audiopara tweak, and lost ALL volume on the speaker, Tried changing settings with "HD Tweak", no effect. FWIW, my ringer volume is fine.
Seems like some folks get results, some don't. My hearing is lousy to start with, so I really need to find a working fix, or ditch the phone.
Use this cab and then reboot
It worked great for me

Makes the button beeps louder, but completely eliminates all phonecall audio!
Not only that, but deleting the cab didn't restore what little audio I had. Had to do a hard reset!!!

Strange, I have it working great and imrpoved the volume a lot!
Perhaps is something related with your ROM
If uninstall not helped, which is strange also, then soft reset and if not hard reset will be the option...
Sorry to hear did not worked for you
I feel your pain, brother! I have 3 of these phones, and am about to give up and sell them because of this stupid problem. What really gets me is that I have seen this same very common complaint (low earpiece volume) with other HTC phones as well. I know of several that have been returned. Don't they pay attention to customer feedback? "Full volume" should be painfully loud, not barely audible. Such a shame to have this be the "deal breaker" for an otherwise great phone.
Some might say to try the SRS WOW HD program, don't do it. It causes lockups and the units don't come out of power down states.
Bump. Bump.

All three have the same issue? Cdma or gsm? My verizon tp2 has very adequate volume and I usually have to have it turned down a notch or two or it is painful to my ear. Same when using the loud speaker. I thought I saw a volume fix cab floating around, might be for specific cdma roms, not sure. I'm wondering if it is more of a gsm v. issue. I agree I have seen this with many diff htc phones, but I can also say I've seen/heard of it with nokia and also other makes. Sorry I have no help, just the comment.
Ringtone Gets Loud In The End
My Ringtone Is Low In The Beginning But At The End Of The Ringer Its A Real Loud Increase In The Sound. I Tryed The Rhodium Audio Parameters And The AudioPara3. Should I Try AudioPara4???? Im on Radio 4.49.25.17 And Under Software Info It Says...
OS Version: 5.2.21854
Manila Version: 2.1.19202517.0
Rom Version: The Cell Pro Series WWE
Rom Date: 9/25/09
I Need Help With Making My Ringers LOUD!!!!!! LOL and im on 6.5
Related:
I have too LOUD in-call volume from the phone.
Using the built-in volume rocker does NOTHING to the in-call voice volume.
The volume is so excruciatingly painful that I can keep my wired HTC hf set 10cm from my ears and still listen perfectly to the conversation.
Not very practical though.
Is there ANY working solution that makes the Volume controller actually control in-call voice volume during phone calls?
I'm running stock 6.5 ROM with no hacks and no audio related software installed.
Bump
Still hoping for an answer.
Hey guys,
I hope I'm not the only one, but for all of you that have an "ORIGINAL" ring sound, is it low when you receive a call?
I have the ring volume at MAX and I'm using a "office ring" ringtone, but it's just soooo low and can barely be heard when placed in a holder and in my pocket.
When I searched this forum, I found this thread, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=581477&highlight=ring+volume . Could this really be the cause of the problem? I do in fact have vibrate and ring, but I use the custom "av1pr" sequence that people from the Jade threads mentioned.
Hopefully there's a solution! Thanks!
ok i did a lot of testing and found out the vibrate has nothing to do with the ring volume
the system sound volume seems to be controlling the ring volume even when i separate the volume controls (one for ring, one for system).
i dont like the system sound loud, but i have no choice because the ring is very very low even at 100%
any of you guys have this problem or know a fix?
thanks
For a past phone, I had copied the ringer sound file that I liked to my PC, used a free audio recording/editing program and re-recorded the sound with a louder volume. Then, I copied the new sound file back to the phone and pointed the phone to it.

Thanks guys for the help.
I actually used the "registry" fix from the link, but where could I find a program that could increase the volume of a sound clip?
My sound is still a bit low.
I used the "Sound Recorder" which comes with Windows.

Thank you, I will test it out
So, I've made sure that ringer and media volume are at their highest, and I've noticed that it is kind of difficult to hear Navigation. Has anyone else dealt with this? I haven't had any of the "speakerphone or call quality issues", just noticed this the other day while traveling. If others have experienced it, do you have a work-around?
I think that generally all of the sounds on the Gnex are very low. I personally haven't used navigation ( i don't drive ) but all their ring tones notifications etc are very low.
One solution for the notifications i used was to 1) use your own audio files or 2) manually edit the audio file with a music editing program to have a higher master volume level.
That is where you may be able to get some success if you can locate where the audio files are for the navigation app you could try to manually increase their volume and replace them.

The audio files are downloaded on the fly, so trying to edit them wouldn't work too well. Look for volume+ in the market.

I guess that I will give it a shot. Ever since the update (and even before it) I really had no issue with media volume, speakerphone or call volume. Thanks for the advice.
