Ok this is my problem : When i press camera button or i start camera application or video recorder application it doesn`t start nor say some kind of error ... it just sits around like nothing was pressed. I tried hard resetting ... i tried new wm ... nothing did the trick ..... It all started in summer when i was just taking some pics and suddenly camera went off ... for about 10 more mins it says failed to initialize camera after that no reaction ... please help (
can no one give advice ? Can it be because of wm 6.1 or above ? I mean i had 6.0 then upgraded to 6.1 worked for a while after that the camera crashed and now 6.5 and still no improvment ... can someone help ?

Have you tried to flash back to a stock rom? Try it. I your problem persists maybe its a harware problem.

As the fellow aboveme said flash back to a stock ROM.
You can find stock ROMs in the stickis located at the top of the forum page. If all else fails it may just be a hardware issue.

no freeze !!
Just a few bugs... (not a big deal)
1. When a call or a message arrived...the led dont blinking red...
2. The bar of battery on the upside is always full even if the battery is empty...
I will continue testin'...

hi neogin, just flash it. it actually hanged when u put the device on standby. wait a few minutes after u switch it off so that S2U wont wake the device up when u press any button, and press the power button to wake it up. mine wont wake up at all.
yeah i just found out about that too ..
the problem comes from FTouchFlo ..
don't use it .. you can remap the left button with any programs ..
yea so i guess its a touchflo thing and not ur rom since it was like that with all your other rom.. its a shame since u almost got everything working.. good work so far thou!!
i have to admit that .. most of the previous rom .. i stole it from here and rework them all .. were not the perfect clean rom ..

In this last version i cannot install the last update for 2sus. (S2U2-0.85-WM5)
It gives me this message:

hi. i update the rom yesterday to my p51 but a got some issues.
-the red tray icon on the right botom to turn on/off wlan suddenly disapair, cant enable it.
-when i use stereo bluetoot A2DP (HBH-DS220 & HBH-DS970 sonyericsson) in media player it bleep for 5-8 seconds and skips to the next song after 15-25 segs.
Neogin could you fix it please i use to hear my music whit this sweeties .
one more thing where i can get the Radio Rom 1.09 ???

Ok did you read the howto flash a ROM on ARTEMIS?
If yes you probably saw a line that told you to flash twice your P3300.
It often resolve flashing problems. GPS usually use COM4
You can test with free GPS software or with Navio software.
COM Ports
I may be wrong but I seem to have a vague recollection that in the US, the original ROMs use COM9 for GPS (can anyone confirm?). Flashing to a new rom will have changed this to COM4 so you may just need to reconfigure your GPS settings in the individual applications.

Official HTC WWE WM6 SHOULD work with any P3300, that couln't be yours that is not possible to run GPS part.
There is an ARTEMIS or HTC P3300 model that have no GPS inside ? or I've just misinterpret what you said maybe you can give me a link with a refresh WM5 software the will surely work with mine ?

No, All HTC P3300 have got a GPS inside (it remember M$ pub ) only some P3300 haven't got Wifi inside.
You should forget about WM5. I said that I am pretty sure WM6 should work with your GPS.
I can give you a WM5 but it is French orange switzerland version

Try this...
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Clock & Alarms
On Time tab, make sure your time AND time zone is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Regional Settings
On Region tab, make sure your region is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> External GPS
On Program tab, make note of GPS Program Port
Download & Install VisualGPSce
http://www.visualgps.net/VisualGPSce/VisualGPSceInstall.CAB
Run Visual GPSce
Go to Connect -> Serial port
Set Port to that in "External GPS" setting above and Click OK
If the red dot in the bottom right flashes then your GPS is ok! You may just have to wait for a lock (look for QuickGPS too).

Did you reinstall the official ROM version?
Hey when I try to install the ROM WWE after I press the update button it sends me in a white screen and than he gives me ERROR 260 means cant connect with the device what should I do
p.s. by the way my operation system is Vista so just let you know if there is any kind off significance to the subject

Try hard reset
First you can try to hard reset your device (pressing the 2 soft key and reset at the same time) You will get a message, press the green phone button. If this does not resolve your problem... you can read first post in the forum, to learn how to flash a new ROM. Does your gps ever worked ?

Ok, the best thing to do is to CID unlock your device (I thaught you already done that)

After that reinstall the original HTC WWE ROM.
Your problems are from flashing from vista, there are a lot of threads about this, but basically you have to piss about untill you have found out how to install a bunch of old xp drivers and then no more 260 errors. When you have done that you can tell us all here just how you did it and post the drivers again because they are getting harder and harder to find.

I bought some month ago a QTEK 9000 with WM5 in English.
Due to some restrictions i've starting using TML_v82_WM61_19960 that i get here.
After 3 ou 4 months, i had some problems due to slow performance with the QTEK and today i've managed to update again to _HTC_UNIVERSAL_-_20764_WM6.1_v1.4.9_BETA2_WWE_by_luca16thebig.
The installation crashed with error 206 and then appear the 112... now i can't get no more than a stunck phone. I've looked some issues and reports from other users, but no answer could resolve this. Neither the mtty application, wich i even can't run it on.
So, some data:
- Running Vista
- QTEK at this moment only run if i do a hard-reset, but it stop at the blank screen with the "Press 0 to restore factory defaults / Press X to exit". Both tried but no results.
- I've already try to update with another versions and the problem is the same.
Best in advance.

Have you tried on XP?, once I had similar problem and reflashed on XP machine and all get ok again.

Well, f###### Vista... upgrading on XP, but only if started with Bootloader started, but then i didn't finish... it crashed on 99%...

I1m cooking my own ROM ... And few months ago (2-3) ,after release another version of it strange problem appeared ... I mean SMS is coming ... LED is blinking ... but sounds is not played ... It starts to play after i press POWER ... Does anybody know what can be wrong ? I tried diferent builds ... 21042 21046 21051 21052 ... It still occurs ... OEMDrviers 2.07 2.09 ... Still thre same ... It doesnt happen everytime ... But from time to time it does ... Maybe some packages are involve with it ? Maybe someone experienced this ? Thankx for any suggestion !

3 insert it in your E1.Press vol up+reset
4 on screen it will show loading sd card update
5 wait till it flashes, it shd not take more than a minute

Hi.
Just for information, on my phone, I was unable to get my position working with the built-in version of google maps. I've just installed the latest version, and it works like a charm.
I've also removed manila because of the non presence of misscall in the home tab, and get back to titanium.
here's a cap of my phone, using jmltoday plugin with a personal skin on the wm7 titanium project. If someone need the skin, I can upload it.

What kind of problems do you have with gps apps?
Just one thing about this rom, it seems to eat my battery a little bit too much fast.
Problems..
IE not working....not that it matters...who uses it anyway.Opera 10 is wayyy better.
MMI ( Mapmyindia ) doesn't show GPS signal. Same with the Destinator and Satguide.
The built in GPS viewer does connect with the GPS though.
So what's the procedure( A step by step guide will be welcome) to use GPS app in this phone?
My Asus P320 / P527 shows sat signals within 2-3 min.
Any suggestions.
