Moisture Sensor Poll - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

Hi,
i know there is another post with this prop.
My TP2 is 3 month old and had never contact with water, however the sensor is
light red. I talk with HTC and after long discussion they found no solution except the posssibility of no warranty. My Provider o2 Germany tells me the same, the chance of warranty is 30%.
That's in my eyes unbelievable.
Let us start a poll to determine how many devices are affected from a coloured sensor. Below is my Sensor is that "norma"l or a "Waterdamage"

Where is the poll

re
no idea how i create a poll, write if your device is affected or not

Mods please add poll
No, I´m not affected and I live in a humid place
Mods can help you to add the poll

I live in a humid area and my previous sprint tp2 had no pink after a month. I checked my tilt2 and it doesn't have that nasty moisture sensor on the outside anymore.

Re
How looks other Sensors, like mine....?

Mine looks like yours - red crosshatch with a pink background - on the battery as well

This is the normal color. If it gets wet it'll be all bright red.

FYI... the ATT Tilt 2 has no sticker there.

TP2 water detection label - photo, please

Hi,
My USB connection on the TP2 stopped working. I have not flashed my TP2, it only 1½ month old. It seems to be charging fine though, but I cannot connect to my Laptop, or any other PC for that matter
So I'm sending it for repair on the warranty.
Meanwhile I discovered that the water detection label on the battery and on the side of the phone is not white, but more like a diagonal red grid. The phone has not been exposed to any water or humidity
I therefore want to hear how the labels are looking on your phones - if they are meant to be so like this grid or if they are completely white.
So now I'm worried if they won't repair my phone, as these labels normally only get red when exposed to liquid fluids.
Please post a picture of your labels.
Thanks,
label red grid
my labels have a red grid... and as far as i know the tp2 didn't get in contact with fluids.
new labels are grid like....so don't worry....
Red as well here...
It's a red grid that when exposed to water stains the entire sheet bright red (its very noticeable)
Here's a snap from the label on my water damaged TP2

Thanks guys for all the fast replies. Now I’m calm and not worried about sending the phone in for repair 
Thanks,

plastic piece covering the hinge between the screen and body missing ??

its come to my attention that there's a plastic piece covering the hinge on the back of the phone ?? is this really the case ?? a user on another forum says that he got back his phone without that covering, while i've never had that piece to begin with. reason i'm asking is because i'm not sure whether not having that covering (if its really supposed to be there) could compromise the durability of the hinge in the long run
would really appreciate it if somebody could post pics of their phone at a similar angle so i could check and compare and maybe use it at the service centre in case they try any funny business.
here's a picture of my phone:

and the other guy's phone. the hinge in question is marked with a red box:
*will post the other picture once i get permission*
I looked at mine and do not see any plastic covering my hinges. I will take a picture and upload it later when I have my camera.
thanks dude.
bump up!!
Here is the photo of my phone. It is a T-Mobile USA Touch Pro 2.
Here is a closer view

Interesting. But I would like to reduce the color, something like +"digital brightness" I think in your language... Does it exist on the LG G4 ?
(it reduce the colors... the red isn't shiny as it is as example)
(wrong login through g+, looks like my first post but it isn't... sorry...)
The example you've given is pretty spot on I reckon! Cheers!
Yes it is hard to find an exact spot. I don't have it enabled. All this does is change gamma and saturation. It doesn't affect the white and black levels at all, which is something I am interested in. My G2 had really bright white levels. My G4 looks slightly dirtier. It looks great standalone, but just not in comparison to my 2gen old LG G2.
It's not possible to make the red color looking red and not pink? I'm very surprised that I don't see comments on this direction on the Web. And for now, I didn't manage to change this "pink screen tendance"

Reaplaced screen, now its turning white.

Hey, so i replaced my screen the other day and it worked fine until today when it suddenly started turning white. When i turn the screen on my it looks completely fine, after about 5 seconds a white shadow starts to appear in the background and slowly starts to make certain parts of my screen white. I opened the phone again and looked at all the cables to see if something was loose, but did not see anything wrong. Do any of you know what could be wrong?

Before you replace the screen the phone was normal? It can be LCD itself, someone with more accurate knowledge can help you with this. Better luck!

Yeah, well the screen was shattered but not white. I put on a screen protector and maybe pressed to hard... :/? and suddenly there was some white lines that got worse and worse kind of similar to this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI64Bcf8OiE

Is this backlight bleed, and can it be fixed?

Hi everyone,
The blue streaks have actually been there a few weeks now, but the red one just appeared. Can something like this be fixed; aside from lcd replacement?
Thank you

Okay perhaps not backlight bleed, more like stuck pixels. I've run the various stuck pixel tools for a couple days now, to no avail. Guess I just have to put up with it. Cheapest replacement lcd I've found is $40.
Has no one else experienced this with their Nexus 7?
Nope, looks like a damaged lcd. I expect there has been pressure applied to it or something. My best bet is that you cannot fit this with any software.

Yeah that appears to be the case. Well it's def out of warranty, guess I'll just nurse it along till the Nexus 7 2016 (assuming it actually is) comes out.
