Hi,
My USB connection on the TP2 stopped working. I have not flashed my TP2, it only 1½ month old. It seems to be charging fine though, but I cannot connect to my Laptop, or any other PC for that matter
So I'm sending it for repair on the warranty.
Meanwhile I discovered that the water detection label on the battery and on the side of the phone is not white, but more like a diagonal red grid. The phone has not been exposed to any water or humidity
I therefore want to hear how the labels are looking on your phones - if they are meant to be so like this grid or if they are completely white.
So now I'm worried if they won't repair my phone, as these labels normally only get red when exposed to liquid fluids.
Please post a picture of your labels.
Thanks,
label red grid
my labels have a red grid... and as far as i know the tp2 didn't get in contact with fluids.
new labels are grid like....so don't worry....
Red as well here...
It's a red grid that when exposed to water stains the entire sheet bright red (its very noticeable)
Here's a snap from the label on my water damaged TP2

Hi,
i know there is another post with this prop.
My TP2 is 3 month old and had never contact with water, however the sensor is
light red. I talk with HTC and after long discussion they found no solution except the posssibility of no warranty. My Provider o2 Germany tells me the same, the chance of warranty is 30%.
That's in my eyes unbelievable.
Let us start a poll to determine how many devices are affected from a coloured sensor. Below is my Sensor is that "norma"l or a "Waterdamage"

Where is the poll
re
no idea how i create a poll, write if your device is affected or not
Mods please add poll
No, I´m not affected and I live in a humid place
Mods can help you to add the poll
I live in a humid area and my previous sprint tp2 had no pink after a month. I checked my tilt2 and it doesn't have that nasty moisture sensor on the outside anymore.
Re
How looks other Sensors, like mine....?
Mine looks like yours - red crosshatch with a pink background - on the battery as well

This is the normal color. If it gets wet it'll be all bright red.
FYI... the ATT Tilt 2 has no sticker there.
Hello guys ... excuse my English !!!
Unfortunately, as you can see in the picture on the screen of my Desire HD after a fall appeared a green dot that slowly rose to become one large spot !! :crying:

I state that I broke the glass.
In fact it had already happened that after a fall was formed a sort of "halo" ... but looking on the web I tried a solution by putting it in the freezer and was magically resurrected : search on "androidworld.it" (Problema coi pixel? Ecco una possibile soluzione)
I tried again to leave two days in the freezer, but the spot is only slightly diminished.
Do you have a solution (which is not to replace the entire display?!?!)
Hello hello and thanks :highfive:
it looks verry broken, and if your ace shoud get a cold, put it in the refrigerator
I think the onely way to fix the problem is, throw it aut of the window on a full moon midnight
don´t do this, its a bad joke same as the thing with the refrigerator
the dysplay works with RGB, white are all colours, if you see red - yellow and blue is off, if you see green - red is off, or broken

The screen has cracked for a very long time but still functional. Just now, it fell once again and then a white-ish thin line appeared at the very right corner, but I ignored it as it does not disturbed me. Few hours later, I think i put a little pressure into this pressure (But I'm pretty sure i am not, because my the only thing i did was to put it inside of my jeans pocket) and poof! Half of the screen cannot be seen clearly (refer picture). But still could function as in I could still use the touch screen mode at the affected area. Could this lcd screen problem be saved without replacing the lcd with a new one? Replacing it is my last resort if I could save it DIY. Help me, thanks!
Yeah, sure, via a software update. That'll also give you wireless charging, but only if you charge the phone inside the microwave.
You've cracked the screen! What sort of DIY fix you assume can exist, besides replacing it?
tired of cheap ebay screens, what replacement screen do yall recommend?
OnePlus RMA. It isn't overly expensive.
From memory, it was around £90 for me.
I have a very little Slot over my first Headspeaker near the Camera. There is some dirt and i dont know if other has the same Problems.
I got my Phone around 2 Weeks and for that Price that is a shame.
I attached Photos where you can see it.

Google Support says its normal.
The gap shown in the picture shouldn't be there.
Best Joke ever: Google Support says its normal.
I agree, that gap should not be there. Not on mine. Call them back, tell them you went to Best buy or a VZ store to compare and you have this big gap that they don't.
You said you just got it, return it to where you bought it so you don't get stuck with a refurbished from Google..... assuming you bought it new.
Reading the chat history in the picture, the employee might think of the speaker cutout. You could try to highlight the gap in some color.
This slot is normal, try gently using a clean soft bristle toothbrush to sweep it out. That's what I do. Works great for the speaker grills and charging port as well!
You are right but this was the Beginning of the Chat. They know now what i mean but says the Photos are not enough and want a Video or more Photos.
Hey guys, so I recently have a problem with my Mi Max 3 and that is there are vertical lines appearing on the screen. Long story short, it fell off my bed when I was sleeping. I found the phone beside the floor of my bed, the screen was facing the floor. Everything seems functional. But for some reason, when I press the “middle” of the screen or lock the screen (press the power button) the vertical lines almost disappear. Now I have researched the problem but I’m not sure. My question is, is something loose or broken? Or something else, comment down below, any kind of help is appreciated

Either the display cable popped off the board or the display ribbon tore off the display. One is fixable without parts the other needs a new LCD.
