I've searched the whole forum but i didnt find the file for the SU. We have the radios but we dont have the file to SU our phones. This thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=414835 doesnt have it.
Can someone post it plz.

I am sorry because this topic might seem repetitive.
I have been researching but I was not able to find the Rogers Rom for HTC Diamond.
I have been playing around with many different roms but I have to send my device back for the repair.
Could someone please give me the download link??
I'd prefer a cab since I do not know how to install the other type of files, such as NBH and etc.
If it happens to be the NBH file, I would appreciate someone providing me the instructions on how to install NBH Rom on my device. (I'm a noob btw )

there is no way for the rom to present in CAB format. please check sticky post for how to install rom

What is Sticky post? and where can I find it? and even if I found out on how to install it, I would need to find the rom. Would you know where to find those??

Hi I am trying to root my EVO using the idiot proof guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701004 and the link for getting the zip file of the rooted ROM isn't working. Can someone please post the file or direct me to a good download of it?

Look at the sticky, there is a post there of usefull things, I'm pretty sure it has a link to all roms there, if not there they are in the wiki for sure.
The file you're looking for might be in Whitslack's thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=715915. (Scroll down to "Step 2 Rapid Fire updates" that has greyed text). You should see this file: OTA_Supersonic_1.32.651.6-1.32.651.1_rootsafe.zip. This should be the file you're looking for.

I really want to root it but im not a a techy type, but i know how to follow instructions. I just need a step by step on how to root it & the files needed. I do not know how to work with command promp. so please tell me all the commands i need to put in step by step so i can understand. thanks. please help & sorry for being so dumb on these things :\

Honestly, not trying to be a ****, but all the answers can be found very easily if you just look at all the posts that are stickied in this forum. One of them will have the answer you're looking for. If you still can't find it, then you probably shouldn't have posted to begin with.

Been there and done that and understand where you are coming from. I actually followed the following link and it was VERY useful as it is expalined step by step http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=754669
As far as the ROM he uses I cannot tell you if it is good or not but if you "flash" (unzip) [ROM] SLIDE-Reloaded v1 [9/16/10] Sense 2.1 this one it is similar to what you have now and you can slowly ease into other ones once you get used to using your phone.
PM me if I can help with this process. I am a noob myself so can't really explain a lot to you but as far as the steps go I can try and help.

not sure if this is what you're looking for but this is what i have found. could not get the flashable zip to download, not sure if this one is or not. going to give it a try myself.

As with every link on google related to the thread title above, I found myself with Captain_Throwback excellent guide. However, the files are missing so I can't really work my way into S-OFF my HTC EVO 4G.
Does anyone have the files so I'll be able to proceed?

I have these files uploaded on Dev-Host. Guess I need to update the links, since the servers over there deleted my files .
Working on it now. You know, it would've been more helpful if you posted about this over there . I would definitely have seen it if you did.

Considering the fact that I don't feel like registering to too many forums, I didn't feel the need to post it there. And I already saw you roaming around here, so I thought this forum was my best option

Tbh, I don't roam around the Supersonic forums too much. It's really just a coincidence I even saw your post. If you want me to see your post, posting in the thread in which I posted it (in whatever forum that is) is always the "best option."
Just FYI in case I have any other broken links .
Well, I went through the entire guide and it worked perfectly! I got S-OFF on my device AND I was able to update the phone and flash custom ROMs and whatnot. I'll play with the phone later on today.
