I've been trying out Opera Mobile 9.7 and notice that the zoom slider on the TP2 doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know if it's possible to enable the slider with Opera 9.7?
As far as I know, this is not possible yet. That is one of the reasons I wsitched back to 9.5.

Does anybody have a cab file of Opera 9.5 for WM6.1? The one extracted from Touch Diamond might not work on Trinity because Touch Diamond got a VGA screen? Thanks.
hi,
they are two cabs vga and qvga, I recommend you to modify the formulation of visualization in Adaptive Zoom digitando in the bar of the links "about:config" with those of default on the trinity has not been well,
B B W =800
M Z =100
M O Z =30
M Z =70
V S W =800
test and make me know hi

Hi, Antonio,
Thanks for the cab, but I'm not sure what do you mean about the modification to the formulation of visualization. You are correct, the display is a bit off and need some adjustment but I don't know how.
Another thing is, a lot of configurable settings are not there any more, for example, not to set Opera as default browser. I have applications rely on IE as the backend for information retrieval from internet and display them. Opera kind of breaks the normal display of these applications. I need a way to set IE as the default browser.
BTW, does the trick to put Opera 8 cache on Storage Card work for Opera 9 too? Thanks.

hi,
I try to be an a little clearer and excuse me for the translation if it is not exact. I wanted to say that of default Opera it is not visualized well, at least on our trinity, therefore I have found some formulation enough good, you owe alone digitare in the bar of you address him "about:config" and then you go on Adaptive Zoom and imposes only you the visualization as I have told you before, to have IE of default must use an any tools and you modify the register
ciao
Thanks, Antonio,
But I think it's too much hassle to get the display straight. I uninstalled Opera 9 for now. And yes, I had to go through all those registry settings to get it back to make pie the default browser after uninstall. What a pain...
Anyway, thank you for providing the cab.

Hi,
I'm running Opera Mobile 9.5. Just wonder is there anywhere explaining all the config setting?
For example, how change on "gesture threshold" in user preference will affect the way Opera works? by default it is set at 5.
I wish to make the scolling page by finger smoother with more momentum effect.
Thanks

With such a big screen, it would be OK for Opera Mini to display the topbar rather than going fullscreen. Anyone know how to do this?
Hmm, i was trying out the beta for opera 9.7, and i noticed when i zoom in, the text doesnt reflow to fit the page. Since opera 9.5 had it i was most certain that 9.7 would have it since it is such a wonderful feature. So i was wondering if anyone has found a fix for this?

It works fine with me... I'm running Topix 2.7.
for opera 9.7? for me it does not reflow the text when i zoom in ><
Yepp, Opera 9.7!
On my Opera 9.7 it was activated by default, but I disabled it in the advanced config, how to enable it :
- type opera:config in the address bar
- go to User Prefs
- check Limit Paragraph Witdh
- click Save at the bottom of User Prefs
- restart Opera to enabled it.
Now when you'll zoom in, the text will fit the screen size.

i already have this setting. i know that opera 9.7 limits the paragraph width so when u zoom in so the text fits, but when u zoom back out, it doesnt reflow to fit the page. here is a ss to show u what i mean.
Ok, I did not understand it that way, I don't remember if it did reflow the text, I disabled this option at the first lauch.
so has anyone found a way to get text reflow back with opera 9.7? its the only thing keeping me from leaving 9.5 in the dust ><

Ok... I misunderstood as well... Because in your opening post you write:

But now I see that you're complaining about the fact, that Opera doesn't reflow when zooming out. And I have the exact same problem.
But is it really a problem? You can't read anything with out zooming in anyway...
But I'm sure this will be fixed as soon as the next version of 9.7 is released...
I'm running a 6.5 ROM (Miri's 6.0) but I want to downgrade from Opera 9.7 to 9.5, as 9.7 doesn't support the zoom bar. Unfortunately I can't find a link to 9.5 on the Opera site - only the 9.5 beta is available, and this doesn't support the zoom bar (I tried it).
Does anyone know where I can find a version of Opera 9.5 which works with the TP2 zoom bar?
