Opera mini non-fullscreen possible? - Touch HD Themes and Apps

With such a big screen, it would be OK for Opera Mini to display the topbar rather than going fullscreen. Anyone know how to do this?

Mobile Browser

I find myself using the internet to read the news mainly on my XDA Orbit. but the IE browser sucks real bad. does anyone know of a good mobile browser.. i would like to be able to scroll by dragging the screen with my finger... i tend not to use the stylus for anything nowadays... but scrolling with my finger nail proves dificult sometimes..... tabbed browsing would be nice but not essential

Opera 9.7 reflow text problem

Hmm, i was trying out the beta for opera 9.7, and i noticed when i zoom in, the text doesnt reflow to fit the page. Since opera 9.5 had it i was most certain that 9.7 would have it since it is such a wonderful feature. So i was wondering if anyone has found a fix for this?

It works fine with me... I'm running Topix 2.7.
for opera 9.7? for me it does not reflow the text when i zoom in ><
Yepp, Opera 9.7!
On my Opera 9.7 it was activated by default, but I disabled it in the advanced config, how to enable it :
- type opera:config in the address bar
- go to User Prefs
- check Limit Paragraph Witdh
- click Save at the bottom of User Prefs
- restart Opera to enabled it.
Now when you'll zoom in, the text will fit the screen size.

i already have this setting. i know that opera 9.7 limits the paragraph width so when u zoom in so the text fits, but when u zoom back out, it doesnt reflow to fit the page. here is a ss to show u what i mean.
Ok, I did not understand it that way, I don't remember if it did reflow the text, I disabled this option at the first lauch.
so has anyone found a way to get text reflow back with opera 9.7? its the only thing keeping me from leaving 9.5 in the dust ><

Ok... I misunderstood as well... Because in your opening post you write:

But now I see that you're complaining about the fact, that Opera doesn't reflow when zooming out. And I have the exact same problem.
But is it really a problem? You can't read anything with out zooming in anyway...
But I'm sure this will be fixed as soon as the next version of 9.7 is released...

Zoom slider not compatible with Opera 9.7?

I've been trying out Opera Mobile 9.7 and notice that the zoom slider on the TP2 doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know if it's possible to enable the slider with Opera 9.7?
As far as I know, this is not possible yet. That is one of the reasons I wsitched back to 9.5.

Changing Tab Association for Browser on TP2

I like Opera 9.7 a little better than 9.5, but is there a way to change which program opens from the TP2's default Browser tab in TF3D? Couldn't find it in settings or registry.
Nothing? No help? Just using a VZW TP2 straight from the box. Want the 'globe' icon on the Browser tab to open 9.7 instead of 9.5...

[Q] Opera issue w/ Weather Watcher Mobile

On my old phone (an original AT&T Tilt) I was running WM6 Pro w/ Opera Mobile 8.65 and Weather Watcher Mobile ( which is an awesome free download http://singerscreations.com/Weather-Watcher-Mobile.asp ) and everything worked and the world was beautiful. Now I've upgraded to the Tilt2 (love the phone) with WM6.5 Pro, Opera Mobile 9.7.35461 and the same version of Weather Watcher Mobile and, although the screens load for Weather Watcher, all the data (days of the week, temps, weather status icons etc) all display in an Opera window which 'respawns' itself every time I switch tabs or update the weather info. I'm fairly sure it has to be a setting in Opera but don't know which one. Has anyone had any similar issues? If so, how did you fix it? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
John
If I remember correctly, you have to make yourdefault browser IE -- I think WWM needs to work with IE rather than Opera, and I thin the only way to make that happen is to change the default browser to IE.
Pistou... you are awesome! I switched IE to my default browser and it works flawlessly once again. Thank you!
