[B][/B]wm 6.5 themes?

i got josh's wm 6.5 rom and flashed to it and realized i didnt like the background i like everything about the rom just not the today screen background are there any themes/ images that are good to replace it with

Dunno about the theme but...
Go to Pictures and Videos, select your favorite pic and tap set as background... Make sure to set transparency to 0...
If you don't have a favorite pic, Deviant Art is full of nice, ugly, big short pics far and wide...

you can take ANY wallpaper or theme file(*.tsk) from WM5,6,6.1 and install it (double click) or just put it under /windows.
then goto today and change the background\theme .
WM6.5 is not made of gold you know

Theme Wallpaper Problem

I have rooted my phone and I am able to switch different themes using GScript. However for some reason all of a sudden now when I switch my themes, everything changes except the wallpaper. Does anyone know why the wallpaper would not change when the theme is changed? These are themes that I know have their own specific wallpapers.

I don't think it works the way you are hoping. Even if there is a custom default wallpaper for the theme, I think you still have to select it manually. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Thats really weird then because the wallpapers did change automatically for a while.

That's really strange indeed, because I have flashed themes with default wallpapers a LOT (making my own modifications leads me to flashing hundreds of times to see my progress), and I don't think my wallpaper has ever been changed automatically.

If you had the default phone wallpaper set as your wallpaper then sure some theme change that file to reflect their own wallpapers. A lot of themes do not, and include a seperate download for wallpapers.
Generally though Wallpapers can/have to be set manually for all the themes.

Thats the weird thing. I just reflashed my phone with RC33 which ahd the default theme and wallpaper. Then I put on the Lost theme and the wallpaper changed to the wallpaper from the theme. I was able to do this for several themes. I then manually changed the wallpaper and now when I change themes the wallpaper does not change with the theme.

found a way to stabalize wallpapers

I have found that if your photos are 320x480 and you set them as wallpapers the wallpaper will not move over the 3 screens. It will stay and not stretch. Very cool! So this leads to posibilities of making a theme with the status bar fully match the wallpaper if done right

I been doing this for over 3.5 months now...all so if you look in my theme post you see where I said with these wallpaper make u think ur icons are floating.

looking for this wallpaper

i was using this wallpaper for awhile before I changed my theme chooser theme and lost it. I've looked everywhere without any luck. if you have it or know where its from that would be great. picture of wallpaper in link. http://db.tt/rozZgClS

[Q] Where to find layout-style wallpapers to use for creating theme?

Hey guys,
So I've got an awesome theme design in mind, and i need to create a wallpaper design that lines up with the elements of my theme (all the Widgets etc).. For example, the wallpaper having a sidebar, or segments for the Widgets and whatnot to sit inside of.. stuff like that..
Anyhow, I'm gonna give it a shot, but im not super pro with Photoshop. So to save some time, i was going to try to just find a wallpaper that i can work with. So here's my question:
- Where can I find wallpapers that have these types of "layout" style of designs, that i can use for creating a theme with?
Been searching everywhere but can't seem to figure out how to word it correctly :/

Like, is there a specific name for that type of wallpaper? Something like "layout wallpaper" or something I can search for to find the type of wallpapers I'm looking for?

Google "Icon Shelf Wallpaper for Android/IOS".. It's rather simple to make those wallpapers from any image actually, so if you'd prefer your own custom image, you could google "how to make wallpapers with icon shelves for android/ios". ^^

I usually just use a bitmap on a bottom layer, because you can adjust whatever image you bring in, allowing you to use whatever image you want as a background/starting point.
