I have rooted my phone and I am able to switch different themes using GScript. However for some reason all of a sudden now when I switch my themes, everything changes except the wallpaper. Does anyone know why the wallpaper would not change when the theme is changed? These are themes that I know have their own specific wallpapers.
I don't think it works the way you are hoping. Even if there is a custom default wallpaper for the theme, I think you still have to select it manually. Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
Thats really weird then because the wallpapers did change automatically for a while.

That's really strange indeed, because I have flashed themes with default wallpapers a LOT (making my own modifications leads me to flashing hundreds of times to see my progress), and I don't think my wallpaper has ever been changed automatically.
If you had the default phone wallpaper set as your wallpaper then sure some theme change that file to reflect their own wallpapers. A lot of themes do not, and include a seperate download for wallpapers.
Generally though Wallpapers can/have to be set manually for all the themes.
Thats the weird thing. I just reflashed my phone with RC33 which ahd the default theme and wallpaper. Then I put on the Lost theme and the wallpaper changed to the wallpaper from the theme. I was able to do this for several themes. I then manually changed the wallpaper and now when I change themes the wallpaper does not change with the theme.

I've been searching for a while and i could not find where the directory of the wallpapers are that are part of the ROM. Meaning the ones you can chose from when on the home page you goto Menu > Wallpaper > Wallpaper Gallery. And also if anyone is in a giving mood if they could give me the wallpaper thats either from CM 4.1.11.1 or Barina's Dark Dream theme 0.9.4. but its the wallpaper of the box doll with rain on it. (I really love that picture ) I'm not sure which its exactly its from since I've wiped and went down to CM 4.0.4 and Barina's Dark Dream 0.8.5.
Thanks
wallpapers are located in /system/app/Launcher.apk/res/drawable and they all start with wallpaper_
Thanks a lot dude!
Hey, I am working on a motoblur theme for CM, and I have almost everything perfect. EXEPT the text on all of the buttons and stuff is black against a dark grey button. Can anyone help me out with getting the text on the buttons to be white so they are readable?
Also, another problem I'm having is with the backgrounds. I moved all of the small and normal backgrounds from motoblur into the launcher.apk of my theme, but they are not showing up in the list. Can anyone help out here, either?
Thanks everyone!

i have wondered about the font color as well for a while.
but for the wallpapers, make sure they are named the same as the wallpapers currently in launcher.apk

im not 100% sure but I think that irrenhaus' advanced launcher allows you to actually add wallpapers to it .... also i know that if you build Launcher from source you can add your wallpapers in that way

Im sure Ive seen somewhere on here an app that allows you change the wallpaper on all tabs. I also think it can make auto changes to these wallpapers.
I just cant seem to find it again.
Has anyone got a link to this one they can share with me....
Hi Pete
It is not possible to get a Wallpaper changer for all tabs,
you get it only for the home screen to change it automatically, underneath is a cab file with the Wallpaper changer have fun !!!

Thanks Lumisab. I'll definitely give it a go.
I've been making a few wallpapers so I wanted something to auto-rotate them. Here's what I've created so far: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=846092
I had a custom wallpaper up, and out of nowhere out changed itself to the stock rainbow bubble wallpaper and won't change at all now. Can someone help me with this? Thanks on advanced
Bumpity Bump
If you're using ap2sd, check to make sure that you don't have the Live Wallpaper you want to use on the SDCard. Live Wallpapers, like Widgets, won't work properly unless they're installed into the phone's memory.
If you're simply trying to install a different picture and it won't take, I recommend that you restart your EVO.
Thanks for the reply, I've tried everything. Its not a live wallpaper, just a regular picture I'm trying to change and can't.
I post here because I'm considered still new in this forum.
You must install 3DGallery for changing the lockscreen wallpaper, not necessary
Twwallpaperchooser, this happen when somebody don't know that some apps are necessary for more than one job.
Anyway Bagux rom is my actually rom, cause I hate the ugly blu in all the others Ics themed roms, is the worse unreadable colour.
Bye
Thanks man, I was looking for the problem and I find it's related to Gallery3D, I haven't see this bug just cause I use golocker and quickpic is able to change home wallpaper instead...however I'll put again Gallery3D in my next release
