hi all...How can I turn off the phone from beeping everytime I get a missed call?
I've already unchecked everything in the"Sounds & Notifications", And also in the Event's "missed call" in the notifications tab. Did I miss something else? I have Advanced Config Installed if that can help.

I have recently upgrade my BA to wm5 (5.04.10.WWE), but now my device can not vibrate and/then ring when there's an incoming call or message. If I check the "Vibrate and/then ring" in notification setting, it will be changed into "ring" only after a few minutes.
Is there anyway to solve this.
Help me please

Hi,
I have a strange problem and I really don't know how to solve it.
The problem is related to the sound when ringing.
If I set the "sound and vibrate" checkbox in Sounds, then the phone rings and vibrate a little and then stop the sound.
The screen still show the incoming call and the caller still hear that the phone is ringing.
The ring sound sometimes stop immediately after it's starting, sometimes ring 1, 2, 3 ... times.
BUT, if I unchecked the "sound and vibrate", the phone ring normally, as long as the caller keep the call open.
Does anyone met the same strange behavior?
The ROM is stock 4.1.1 XXALIJ, rooted with CF-auto-root.
At this moment I don't have any sound manager / profile manager installed.
I tried also to clear cache from recovery, but nothing.
What could be the cause?
What can I try to make it acting as it should?

I hope it is not affected by any motion settings, i.e you are covering the screen with your palm or turn it over?
If you are asking if I'm covering the phone with my hand, or if I'm turning it WHEN it's ringing, the answer is NO
But if you are asking if I have these options checked in settings, the answer is YES. I have them checked.

The incoming call vibration is very weak on the phone, even it is on the desk on front of me I can barely notice it.
Did search but didn't find it work on my phone. Some post saying there is a setting "vibration intensity" under "sound", but not in my phone.
Could someone help me on how to set strong vibration intensity on incoming call, text message notification etc?

If I remember correctly that setting is under a "more", "advanced" or "other options" under the sound settings. I'd have to check my nexus 5 or htc one s when I get back but I'll let you know.

Check Phone settings > Answering and Ending Calls. Turn off Voice Control if it is turned on.
Check Accessibility settings to see if an option to announce callers is turned on there.
my phone doesn't alert me when I get an email or text while on a call, I've looked in the settings to no avail. How to change this? thx

It should be automatic. I never really noticed if it made a sound or vibrated. Make sure your notification volume is all the way up. Enable vibration if you believe that would help. You'd feel a vibration on your ear, which might be better than sound.
