I am using the same ROM and can't get MMS to work either. I tried what is shown in the Wiki for that ROM but no luck.
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried checking the settings?
Try the site below.
If that Doesn't work, I can try and cab the file from the TMOUS Rom

Would it be possible for you to cab the AOL IM client from the TMOUS Rom?

What settings have your entered?
1. Create a connection (T-Mobile MMS as an example) with wap.voicestream.com as the APN (cellular line, no proxy, not connected to the internet).
2. Go to MMS option in Messaging and create a new server:
Gateway: 216.155.165.50
Port number: 8080
Server address: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Connect via: your created connection (T-Mobile MMS as an example)
Send limit: 300K
WAP version: 2.0
If this doesn't work, try http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc as the server address.

Same thing no luck i even did a hard rest then did the settings all over again with no luck but thanks any way

This is the last respond i got
Well the MMS doesnt work because you're on the Manila 2.5 ROM. Only way to make MMS work is by disabling the new HTC Messaging thing. Apparently the old method doesn't work anymore. If you want MMS, just use a more stable, and standard Manila 2.1 ROM. HTC will fix up the MMS in time, so thats a HUGE reason why to NOT try to make a workaround for the MMS right now. It'll be a wasted effort in a few weeks.
Just flash a Manila 2.1 ROM, and your world will be back in orbit
So we all have to wait for everyone that has this issue for now

Blackberry Connect - Manual Set the APN

Hi there,
I have searched the forums on how to do this already with no real success.
I have installed the extracted BB Connect software for T-Mobile onto my PDA2K, running ROM 1.40, and I am on the Canadian Rogers network.
The cab was named:
htc_pocketpc_tmo_england_2.0.0.25-18.cab
The installation runs fine and the PIN is generated correctly, however the APN settings are hardcoded to blackberry.net
I need to change this to internet.com and set a username and password of:
username: wapuser1
password: wap
Has someone been able to create an install that allows you to change this in the GUI?
Or, does someone know which DLL file this is set in so I can modify it in C++ or another DLL editor?
Or, can someone out there that knows how to do this modify the cab for me with those settings?
Cheers
Aaron
Actually, my mistake... I need to have these settings:
Rogers AT&T (Canada)
GPRS APN : blackberry.net
WAP gateway IP: 208.200.67.150
WAP gateway port: 9201
Cheers
Aaron
I've been able to modify the IP with a HEX editor and it connects and gets an IP.
However, it still doesn't sync. I wonder if the ports are incorect. It says:
Remote Port: 19781
Local Port: 19780
Not sure if this needs to be changed....

Your dll works fine.
2 others problems:
1- The keypad where you enter the PIN code: It's the original HTC keypad Green. Have you a CAB to install the black keypad?
2- The Comm Manager come with 9 buttons. Where is the 10th?
Thanks a lot for your great work.

make the set up you must do the necessary set up for network and mobile data connection and you have to make this set up in the configuration status - maybe your provider sent you the automatic data or the cell-phone try to find them or you put the data in manually after receiving them from your provider. If you skip or jump over the item 1-8 in the configuration set up you come up with the wrong set up. So how do you put in the data?

MMS problems with ICS? Try this

Hey guys,
I noticed that still many users of ICS roms have problems with MMS sending (need to be connected on Wifi to send/get MMS).
Try this solution, it works for me:
Join Internet and MMS apk in one. Usually main apn is internet, so we will leave it. All what we need to do is copy some information from MMS apn to Internet apn, after that we delete MMS apn.
Copy/rewrite next options in Internet apn:
1. Copy from MMS -> MMSC:
2. Copy from MMS -> MMS Proxy:
3. Copy from MMS -> MMS Port:
4. Rewrite APN:
Mine original in ICS was default, supl
Now its default,mms,supl
Hope this will fix your solution with MMS sending/receiving .
It worked for me. Thank you so much! :highfive:
