Is just out this very interesting on the iTunes App Store:
http://itunes.com/app/tapatalk
Allows you to access the forum without Safari and avoiding quench your eyes!
The holders of the Forum /Blog need to login and activate a plugin in order to be included in their list!
http://www.tapatalk.com/plugin/
The interface (only for iPhone for the moment) is very userfriendly and we are unable to steer very well.
From the first screen - once you find the forum you can see the contents as in the computer mode register on the forum or login.
You can open a new topic, and you have access to the object (the title) and the message. (PS emoticons are not displayed)
The menu at the bottom there are quick links to categories recent posts, discussions to which you are enrolled, the PM and see their profile and that of others.

Has anyone ever considered adding some re-directs to the xda domain, to allow quick access to whichever forum is relevant to the user?
As a Nexus user, I have to wait several seconds (even on 8mb connection) for the entire entrance page to download and render (using xda's bandwidth), and then rapidly scroll to a point about 4/5 of the way down.
Bookmarks are all very well, but most people use more than one computer on a regular basis...

A new 'jump to' option has just been implemented allowing users to be able to jump to specific device forums. Located under menu buttons at top of page

Thanks Xda is even more better.
I haven't found thread specific to android app, so i'm creating new one.
My suggestion is to implement options to limit latest tab to:
- selected forums
- threads you posted in
- subscribed threads (yes there is tab for that, but newest tab is suposed to be "everything on one place" i guess)
So i won't receive ROM updates on some random device that i don't even remotely use.
Thanks for the idea. We'll pass this on to our app developer.
Cant find the thread at the moment, but it'd be nice if the tabs would shift to the left of the screen in landscape mode, takes up too much room in landscape
Also it would be nice to have "View first unread" option just like here on forum.
So, Ive made the app for 1800PocketPC & thought I would make a thread about its development,
mostly because I need a bit of help from those with greater knowledge than me
Saijo (the owner of the site) has already made a thread about it over here CLICKY.
There is also a page on my website about it here: CLICKY
Features:
Displays the latest article from your chosen feed on the homepage.
Shows feeds from these different areas:
- News
- App Reviews
- Game Reviews
- General games news
- Free games news
- Xbox Live games news
Displays articles in a mobile friendly way.
Gives you the opportunity to contact the site or the developer (me).
Due to the youtube plugin not working in 3rd party apps, links to the
mobile youtube page are dynamically added to the menu.
The same applies to marketplace links, which would not open strait
from 3rd party apps, links are dynamically added to the menu instead.
You can view & add comments posted on any article.
There is landscape support throughout all but 1 part of the app.
You can also get achievements!
You can download the current version here:
Or you can like it on Facebook here CLICKY
Im currently working on the next major build, which will add:
Twitter & Facebook integration.
Overall UI improvements.
A better mobile reading experience.
Full portrait/landscape support.
Location based advertising off by default.
Now, what I need is help with at the moment is facebook & twitter.
I found a brilliant tut here & I transplanted some of the code from there, so It can now share articles to facebook.
My problems are these:
I don't know how to post to twitter.
I don't know how to get & display all posts from someone's facebook wall (namely the bestwp7games & 1800pocketpc pages)
I don't know how to get & display all posts from someone's twitter account :/
So yeah, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Google hath fail'd me
Being as polite as possible, you need to search. If you ask questions like "how do I ..." you're not really progressing as a developer, as the two services you mentioned have amazingly detailed and well-defined APIs.
I will point you to the kind of Google queries I use to find these answers, that way you can keep developing without wasting time waiting for other people to answer:
Twitter: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=update+twitter+status+c#
FB Wall Posts: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sour...ebook+wall+posts+c#&pbx=1&fp=b0dc1443d535784d
Recent Tweets: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sour...&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&fp=b0dc1443d535784d
Thanks. You're right, I probably should have searched more.
I was a bit afraid Id find something & try working with it only to find it didnt work with WindowsPhone :/
LocationMinder is a reminder manager that allows you to set reminders based on locations.
It comes in handy when you want to get reminders when you are at the grocery store for this very rare thing that you need to get.
Or
Maybe a good friend of you owes you money, and he has been being a jerk and pretend to never have change, you can set a reminder located at his house, so that next time you visit his place, you can for sure collect the money.
You can set reminder locations by address, or by a business name.

MOD EDIT: Link Removed - Do not use XDA to promote your "paid" apps.
Version 1.0 is already on the marketplace.
Version 1.5 is now under certification.
Version 1.6 will add small bug fixes and some more convenience settings.
Please support
A video will say it all

XDA provides a specific section to post "paid" apps.
Also please re-read XDA forum rules regarding these. As the rules will have changed since you registered in 2007.

AT&T Galaxy S3 xda themed Toolbar. This is my second toolbar. It is for your PC's internet browser. It is compatible with IE, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. It has many useful buttons such as links to your User profile in XDA, a Pandora app, RSS feeds from XDA's front-page, XDA tv, and a button to the following AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus forums, with nifty menus: General, Q & A, Development, Original Development, and Accessories. The best part is: IT'S FREE! Download, use, enjoy! If some of the buttons to the right of the player on the right aren't useful to you, disable them by right-clicking the toolbar and going to options. Please give constructive feedback, I'm totally open to listening and adding even more useful things.
