are there any games available for this device ?
Seriously, I've lost count of how many new threads are created with your question.
There's a sticky in the apps thread with several games. Also, you are using a Windows Mobile device. If you Google for "windows mobile games", you'll find plenty.

Hi fellow XDA-Developerians...!!!
I am looking to start programming on Windows Mobile devices. I own a HD but have never programmed on windows mobile platform. At present I'm researching on search engines and have recently shifted my interest to mobile based information retrieval. I would therefore request you to help me get on with the first few steps with programming on windows mobile platform. To start with, which all tools or application I would require in order to write a program and run it on my device?!
I'm trying to make an intelligent mobile based search engine which would change its search tactics according to the users' usage pattern. If you have any idea about search engine technologies or know which programming tool to choose, please share with me. Any information is welcome.
Thanks for all your help...

You'll find a lot of resources here. Search engine dev is too general, so google it.
P.S.: As your question isn't Blackstone specific you'll get more and faster responses in the Dev&Hack or Q&A forums.
Hi all,
I play a game called Munchkin occasionally and a few friends have a iphone app for the game http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/munchkin-level-counter/id321177230?mt=8
I would like to make a similar app for my HTC Leo, but a basic one, just a simple level counter. Obviously with no affilation to the game.
Problem is, Ive never created a app before. I pick things up very easily tho, just wondered if someone could give me a headstart on a program to create this app.
Cheers!

Have fun programming,

One thing I noticed many people asking for is if an iphone game can go to a windows mobile device. Android to be ported to Windows Mobile. Android app to iPhone, etc. Instead make a section for this. And people can request the app they want or OS.
Biggest thing I see in some phone's sections is WHEN or IF it will be ported. Currently I've noticed this mostly in the HD2 section. While I know that the porting of Windows Mobile 7 and Android is a long process and it's voluntary I have seen that MANY MANY users have donated to those developers and I just think it would be nice to have some form of dedicated thread/section to show their contributors that it's being worked on.
Hello,
First of all, let me tell you how much I love XDA Developers! Discovering this website has improved my phone by 1.000%!
There is just one thing I am not getting: As this site is all about phones, why isn't there a mobile friendly version of the site? (m.xda-developers.com)
The XDA App is a great alternative, but isn't available on Windows Mobile and misses some easily accessible, important functions (like search a specific thread/forum.. So don't look at me if this question has been asked plenty of times already..) Before I got Android, the immense loading times were always annoying, especially when there wasn't any 3G network available..
Therefore I am hoping that a mobile friendly website will be launched somewhere in the future, for an upgraded XDA browsing experience for every OS!
Cheers,
-Zyt

+1
Android app is nice, but it's only for text. There is no formatting, images or other stuff inside posts. Just text and attachments. And is also missing some great features like "view first unread".
seeing as we have jailbroken windows phone 7 with chevron i was wondering why there has been no development towards a cydia like packaging app. surely thats what windows phone 7 needs to bundle homebrew apps and tweaks. i havnt seen many homebrew apps or tweaks at all yet and i was thinking if there was an app like cydia then it would be much easier for other developers and users. windows phone 7 needs to be very easy for the user and this would be good with a cydia app.
let me know whats happening with this

If you don't see such apps, then you must surely be blind...or too lazy to search

Check the app and games or the development threads in xda... you will just have to look and sideload yourself. I posted some xap's like some others... your mostly a bit ahead of the marketplace or will get some stuff which will not enter the marketplace
alright well thanks but is there any development going into custom theming and other tweaks that there are for iphones like categoreis from cyda etc.
just give it time for full customization xaps
Like everyone else has already stated , READ THE FORUM , theres unlimited information in here ,all for your taking , but you have to search for it ,its not that hard!
