Custom Sounds on HTC Touch Pro2???

Is there a way to customize startup sounds or error sounds? I would like to change the sound of those, but can't seem to figure out how. Anyone help with that?? It has WinOS 6.1.
Like many of the options on the Touch Pro2, a user interface for the notification sounds appears to be sadly lacking. The default sound for my email alert, for example, it a barely audible beep. I have just had a route through the registry, and all the notifications look as if they are located here:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications
From here, there are a number of registry keys, most of which are GUIDs, but their associated function is shown by the (default) value inside each key. There's a Wave string value in each, which you should be able to change as required. I've not tried this yet, but will have a go later.

Can you add touch sounds?

I am curious if there is a way to add touch sounds to the system ui media file (system/media/audio/ui). I know how to add and change/replace alarms, ringtones, and notifications. And I know how to change/replace the touch ui sounds. What I want to figure out, is how to add ui sounds. I want to have a sound for whenever apps open. There will be the default touch sound, plus an additional one (like a warble or trill or whatever you want) as the app is opening. In all of my searching, i've yet to find anything on this. Thanks for any help!
EDIT:
sorry if this is in the wrong area. It's a question, but it's theme related so I figured this was the place to post. If not, i'm sure the mods will move it
i think you are answering your own question... or i dont get it
but u are on the right track
make a sound with .ogg extension and copy it to ui thats it

[Q] switching between keyboards while texting

I have swiftkey installed and I just got this fun keyboard called Gif Gif Gif that lets you send gifs in text messages. The gif keyboard sucks as a regular keyboard so I want to be able to switch between SwiftKey and Gif Gif Gif but it doesn't allow me to switch in the texting app ( I use Textra). I felt like in the past you were allowed to change the input by holding down on the space in the text input but I now find that it doesn't work anymore.
Any solutions or knowledge of this?
While you're using swiftkey (or any other keyboard) look in the notification bar. There should be a keyboard icon there. Drag the notification bar down and press on the keyboard entry in the list. In the list that pops up, press on the keyboard you want to use.

Click to collapse
Wow I'm an idiot. Thank you so much!!! I knew there had to be a way!

Change the keyboard typing sound

Does anyone know how to change the keyboard typing sound? I use GBoard instead of the default TouchPal keyboard, but the sound effect from typing is the same as TouchPal - it resembles the sound of a typewriter. I don't know about you guys, but its horrific to me. My preference would be to change it to something that sounds similar to the iPhone or Samsung Galaxy.
I have found that using another third party keyboard, such as Cheetah Keyboard, will have a different sound, but I really like GBoard and want to only change the sound effect for typing.
/system>/media>/audio>/ui> all the keyboard .ogg files
