TouchFlo on the B&B v4.0 (in future), possible??

Option only please.
I installed the other Touchflo ROM to see what all the fuss is about...and I just don't get it. On B&B ROM 3.7 you have 5 screen shortcuts (home, people, weather, launcher, sound) which are just great. With (the current) Touchflo rom you need to press a key to launch touchflo and then swipe. It looks pretty and would be great in the pub..nothing else though IHMO.
Off-topic rant:
The other issue is that other than HTC apps which look really great, and easy to use you end up "leaving" the Touchflo interface for a crap MS screen which hasn't been redesigned for 5+ years (Pocket outlook).

Nope....no touch flo in 3.7....
It really is the only thing that needs adding to 3.7 to make it absolutely stonking!! Not bothered about the cube thing, waste of time if you ask me, but scrolling contacts, email, web etc with your finger really is useful.
Cube is nice for 5 mins - then it gets boring, I actually reverted to 3.7 after using the touch flo rom for a couple of days - but the problem with the "X" not working did my head in.....
Sorry for rambling....

I would agree - touchflo ist a funny application, but have lots of problems and bugs. I think, first of all we need devices, which are stable and performant.

WikiPock & IE6/TF3D 2 Problems

Not sure if anyone is using WikiPock (complete offline Wikipedia) but thought I'd ask anyway -
Is anyone successfully running WikiPock with IE6 installed on their HD?
It was running fine on Kwbr's Touch of HD ROM but won't play nice on his latest Vanilla Series Topaz ROM which includes IE6 and the latest incarnation of TF3D.
Hyperlinks and the 'tap and hold' menu won't activate. Tech support have indicated that it is compatible with IE6 so just trying to narrow down the possible causes of the problem.

I don't think it is a manilla problem, but ie6. I have the same issue with tom topaz 6.5 rom without manila, and scrolling does not work. Although you can use the zoom bar on the td2 to scroll the page, the hyperlinks still don't work.

Hi Paul,
Did you get a chance to try WikiPock on the stock TD2 ROM?
Customer Support have told me that it runs fine on machines with IE6 so don't know whether it's just that cooked ROMS haven't got all the required IE modules.
It's such a PITA as I'm not prepared to revert to the stock ROM.

what do you mean when you say nothing happens do you just get a blank screen on startup of your mobile?
a little more info would make a world of difference for users here to help you further.
also i have issues with wm 6.5 on my htc touch hd, my main problem is that the colours are all messed up and it keeps reseting also there is no radio in the rom which is highly frustrating

I think he means that WVGAFIX3 doesn't work on his WM6.5 ROM...I haven't used the program itself so try hunting in the WVGAFIX thread...I guarantee you that there are people who have tried what you're trying.
@HTCFAILEDFLASH: what you're describing sounds like the old "i still have SPL 1.14" problem. If you look at the stickies in the ROM thread, there is a very detailed explanation of how to flash your ROM up to SPL 1.56, which is what is required for most ROMs these days. Alternatively, you can just use HSPL 1.56 from Olinex. But I would probably suggest following the sticky and using USPL - it's safer =P

Me too, I have HD2 and would like to play Arvale: Short tales (VGA) in full screen.

not working here either stays always in WVGA mode . So the screen size doesnt change to VGA.
WOuld love to try Mini vMac on Win Mobile 6.5

WVGAfix doesn't work on WM6.5

so there is no way in chaging screen size in WM 6.5 right ?

WVGAFix4 seems to be able to change the screen to VGA and that works fine. BUT when you switch it back to WVGA the phone become inoperable until you reset. You can only reset by taking out the battery or using the little red reset button inside the case.
So it SORT of works with 6.5. If there's something you absolutely love to play that requires VGA and don't mind resetting the phone then I guess it's an option.
This is WVGA fix 4 that I'm talking about. I haven't tried 3.
***EDIT***
I installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3 and WVGAFix4 works perfectly. So it seems that it's HTC Sense that can't handle WVGAFix4. SPB Mobile Shell properly adjusts to the VGA setting, and then properly recovers back to WVGA setting. Yay!

lightweigth phonecanvas

I really like the idea of having a "slide to answer" phonecanvas - so one don't by accident ignore or answer the phone.
Sadly though, what I've tried - it seems WAAAY to slow.
If I get an incomming call, the phone starts to light up... then showing the canvas...
If I then put my finger on the slider, and start sliding - nothing happends for the first second... I need to let it "load" the slider completly - and then it's ready for sliding..
all in all - this whole procedure takes so long - the phone might return to the answeringmachine...
So, I'm wondering if there's any lightweight "slide to answer" canvas'es out there - that work on the Diamond?

You must have some serious problems with your phone. Canvas is working, and is working normally, i.e. without any delays and such. I recommend flashing some other rom with slide answer ans trying it yourself. For good measure you could backup your data and clean the storage too...

I've tried a few WM 6.5 ROMS, but that ALL have the same sluggish behavior.
Currently I'm using my own WM 6.5 from the GSM kitchen - which seems really fast in all programs - but still a bit slow when loading the phone canvas... and the slider
Manilla is for example working REALLY fast - close to no delay at all (That I can notice anyway)
It's like the phone has a lot to do when there's an incoming call... Like it has to startup alot of software?
Maybe someone has a video of how fast the phone is - when there's an incoming call?
I've tried upgrading my radio aswell - but that didn't make any difference.

HTC Phone Canvas or Tachi are slower on 6.5 ROMS. Try it on 6.1, you will note the diference.
EDIT: If you don't use video call it is better to use default winmo 6.5 with some tweak to lock you device by default. Or use it with S2U2.

That's my advice, too!
Disable the HTC PhoneCanvas through Registry and use S2U2 with the Slide to answer option instead! It's way faster then HTC Slide to answer!

Ok, I just gave S2U - and I must admit - it's WAAAAAY better!
I disabled the HTC canvas using the registry fix...
Sadly the Windows answer-canvas will pop-up just before the S2U (will only be visible for under half a second...) Is there any way to completly disable the Windows answer canvas - and ONLY use the S2U?

Iconsoft Phone Extension (PhonEx) is the best phone dialer (for me), but it is not free
It also has some kind of slide to answer but in UP direction.

No, that's (currently) not possible!

I think in S2U2 settings you have something like "On wake up delay start of S2U2". The value is in ms. It's set to 500 by default i think. I didn't experiment with this, but try to set it to a lower value. It just might make the default windosw answer screen "invisible" ..

No, it won't simply start instead.

Well wierd. I had it set to 300ms, and you could se the windows answer notification for...well, around 0,3 sec. Then i set it to OFF, and if my eyes arent cheating me, it shows up faster. The windows notification just blinks once under s2u2, and that's it..

[Q]: G-Sensor Auto-rotation

Greetings all...
When I initially got my Tilt 2 and used the stock at&t firmware, the device auto-rotated in Inbox, Calculator, ie and Opera (and perhaps others I did not notice)...
I have now loaded and used Athine, Valkyrie, At0mAng, Fusion, ROMeOS and Energy Roms [last two, my current favorites]
Although some of them have a G-Sensor applet, *none* [in my case, I could be doing something wrong] have the auto-rotate working.
I have checked any apps and HKLM\Software\OEM\HTC\Sensor\GSensor
I am not sure what I need to do/install to enable it.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I had noticed this myself.
Either I am doing something wrong or getting G-sensor to work in modded roms is not that easy.

You could just install a program like Changescreen, Gyrator, etc. and let those autorotate apps for you. I find that Changescreen works quite well, and even supports TF3D landscape with proper configuration.
And for future reference, questions like these should be posted in the Rhodium General or Rhodium Themes, Applications, and Software forums, as this has nothing to do with ROM development.

okay guys I need some help.
I have a Tilt 2, it was auto rotating fine and then all the sudden it just stopped working out of nowhere.
All i did was the AT&T clean up to uninstall games and AT&T stuff. But it was working even after that I believe.
I also installed:
-NoData
-Googlemaps
-Wifi Toggler
-Microsoft .NET CF 3.5
-Total Commander
What can be the problem exactly? Earlier today it rotated once when i turned the phone to its side.
EDIT: Opera rotates fine. But the touch flo use to rotate also if I am no mistaken? It just won't rotate... even though I have auto rotate on.
