FLV players

Hi
Can anyone provide FLV (youtube videos) player for ppc WM5/ WM6
I want to use it on HTC Uni
There is not any ATM.
However, you can always convert them to divx/xvid using a variety of convertors. eg: I use total video convertor to convert the flv->avi(with divx video stream and mp3 audio stream)

MP4 converter for everyone!

Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter 1.1
This is a free utility to convert one or multiple movies that you can create with the built in camera on your dash/excalibur. I thought I would share this with you guys, I noticed I can play the movies on my phone but not in windows. This will allow you to convert videos from the phone to playable clips on your pc. Makes it a snap to youTube or Myspace!
Enjoy!

Converts MP4 to:
Xvid 1.1.3
Divx 3
MPEG-4 AVC
Mpeg4 FFrrpeg/ffdshow
MP42 S-mpeg
WMV (WMp 7)
WMV (WMp 9)
Motion JPEG
cool, thanks.

Best Video Player / Video Compressing Combination?

I want to store a heap of video files on the phone for travelling for 6 weeks. Can anyone make any suggestions on the best combination of video player and video compressing tools for the HTC Desire?
I used Handbrake to compress videos (and meridian to watch it), but I hate doing it, because it takes time.
With new avi players, soon it won't be necessary.
Rock divx player is already (in beta version) capable of playing regular divx/xvid avi videos (624x352) in great frame rate, but doesn't support subtitles at current version.
yx player supports subs, but framerate is an issue.
so, rock divx will be answer to our prayers for sure
Both hands up for "Rock Player"!!!
i use h263 on handbrake, which is ipod legacy.. unfortunatly h264 seems to be unsuppoted
+1 Rock player. Plays divx/xvid videos with relative ease!
I need to compress the files for phone size though as it would be a waste of space to have standard size files? I will look at rock player though.

Important videos won't play back anywhere 720p

I recorded several very epic videos in 720p, they won't playback on my phone or pc! I used
Kingdom b1; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071547
and this camera app; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1084195
I've tried vlc, windows media player, quicktime, and on my Evo I tried astro and the stock htc gallery app.

*edit*
Click the following link and if you have quicktime installed your browser will attempt to play the video.

not sure what your prob is. People running the same set up are having no probs. I did notice that the format looks like its 3gp. If it is 3gp that may be your prob and u need to either use a 3gp video playerthat can do 3gp like vlc or convert it to avi or mp4 format. The evo stock records in mp4 so maybe the camera app you are using can record in diferent formats.

Try playing the video yourself.

Yeah tried playing it myself and does not work. Like i said b4 the video format that you have is 3gp and quicktime and most other players do not play that video format. If u want to play this with quicktime then u need to find a 3gp to mp4 video converter. I do not know why your video format is 3gp but that is your problem. Quicktime native compatible formats are AIFF, WAV, DV-DIF, MP3 and mp4, Also with addon components it can play ASF, DivX Media Format, Flash Video, Matroska, Ogg. So like i have said about three times already u need to convert the video from 3gp to mp4 or one of the native file formats quicktime supports. Here is a link to a pretty good converter http://download.cnet.com/AoA-iPod-PSP-3GP-MP4-Converter/3000-2194_4-10531870.html

My video's have always recorded in .3gp format. I can play back videos recorded in WVGA in .3gp but not 720p. Seems Kingdom b1 won't record 720p on my phone.
HW 004, if that helps.
And the video won't convert into anything else, renaming to .mp4 or .avi and so on doesn't help either.
