Titanium Weather - Touch CDMA Windows Mobile ROM Development

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick question on restoring titanium weather to my home screen.
I went through the trouble of finding my code etc when i set it up, but then i accidentally hit yes for the "do not display summary page" in the setup options. (This is NFSFAN's latest 6.5 ROM on a Bell HTC TOuch)
Now, I am unable to get it back. What is the easiest way of getting this working agin?
Any help is greatly appreciated

QUick addition
I also should have added that I looked at the Titanium registry key for summary and it was set to disabled. I set this to enabled, but still no luck.

+1 on this issue. I have the same problem!

I think I figured it out!
You have to go into your windows folder. Scroll down to Titanium Weather. Once you get there open up titaniumweatheroptions.mscr and reset everything to enabled (even if they are already set to enabled). Then go back to the windows folder and double click on titaniumweather.exe and it will run! It now shows up in it own panel and in CAnalog Clock for me. Just to be sure I wasnt kidding myself, I turned off Titanium and moved CTitaniumWeather up and down the list to be sure it is there!
Let me know if it works for you or if you have any Q's.
EDIT: I have actually had a ton of issues with things just disappearing from the Home Screen, after a few more issues with the weather and other panels, I just reflashed my phone.

You're Brilliant Gersonian
Your advice worked like a charm. I kept on playing with the registry entries and never even thought to look in the Windows folder. Really glad I didn't have to resort to reflashing again

Uninstalling O2 Active on the XDAIIs

How the hell do you do it? - It not compatible with spb pocket plus.
If I attempt to uninstall it throws an error, saying it is running, but there is no process in the task manager to stop.
Help greatly appreciated.
Rich
to stop it from running, i've just deselected it from the today plugins (start / settings / today / items), which seems to have done the trick.
Thanks - but I am trying to get rid of the O2 icon on the top menu bar.
I can move it from left to right but not uninstall it!
Any ideas?
ok here is all you have to do goto the startup folder in windows directory and remove connections from the folder this will not remove active but will stop the anoying o2 icon personally i like the very simple battery indicator and the profiles so i kept it alternativly you can ditch the whole of active by hard reset and use the Coperate option the password is in another thread think if i remember it is 0506
just checked it is that ..
A perfect answer many thanks

Unread text message notification will not go away.

I was enjoying my new Touch Pro 2 from T-Mobile for over a month now and suddenly I noticed that Touch Flo 3D said I had a "new text message". I usually just check "all messages" so that I can see all text message "discussions" instead of one at a time or "read only" mode when you tap a contact and slide over to "sms". So this time I checked "all messages" and none of my messages were "unread". I even went through every conversation to make sure nothing was missing, not even an mms message.
I even turned off Touch Flo 3D thinking that was causing the issue, no dice. Everytime I go into the SMS app for Windows Mobile and look at the folder tree, I see "inbox (1)". So I downloaded a cab file from xda that allows "mark all as read" in the sms app. After installing/softresetting and choosing "mark all as read" from within the WinMo SMS app, this issue did not go away both in Touch Flo 3D and in the WinMo SMS app.
Finally I came across a link of someone having an issue with their HTC Hermes (Kaiser?). They made a program called "FixUnreadCount". This app shows that it is checking all mailboxes (including sms/mms) on the WinMo message app and determines which messages are actually "read" or not.
Once I got to the "sms" portion of the scan, it found that all messages had been read, but the notification was set to "1". It fixed this and moved on to check my other messages on the phone.
After the scan finished, I noticed that TF3D still thought I had an unread message so I softreset my Touch Pro 2 and that was it. Touch Flo 3D had synchronized with the WinMo messaging app and determined that there were no "unread" messages.
I felt I would post this up here since I know there are a lot of Touch Pro 2 owners out there and none of the other fixes worked for me. I also hope that this can be found easily in a search because finding the fix in the hermes forum was almost dumb luck.
I posted a link to the thread that has the file available for download. It's a zip file. I just downloaded the file via Opera directly onto my storage card, then extracted the file and ran the file after extracting. You may get a warning that says "unknown publisher" just tap allow and it should run just fine.

Thank you, I've hard reset twice already because of this annoyance.
Thank you. Ran it once and after a soft-reset, all was fixed.
This fix worked for me to.
Much appreciated!
Thank you for the post!
Glad I could help. I know this was an issue that wasn't covered too well when I first learned about it. Making it easy for others.
Just use SafeInboxExtender
Once installed, go to your inbox (windows default, not TF3D), click menu, scroll down and click 'mark all as read'
That should do the trick, and its easy too.
i have been having this issue with my phone for months thanks so much for posting this, yur a life saver... really!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this soo much. I was about to flash my phone again cause I had this problem the first month I got my TP2 and looked online a lil' and could not find an answer... dat is why I luv this forum
I had this same issue and stupidly started a new thread without a thorough search (sorry).
Any ideas why it happened in the first place?
Well, I installed the SafeInboxExtender and clicked on Mark All As Read and the phone still says that I have one unread message. It didn't work for me. Any other ideas, guys?

So did you try FixUnreadCount followed by a soft reset, as in the first post?
Can someone please help me! I have downloaded this zip many times and it works for a few days then the phantom message appears again somedays totaling to like 5 new text so it says. Is there anything I can do to keep them away for good? I love my phone but this is driving me crazy!!!

Thank you! Awesome fix. I've had this problem with several WinMo phones from time to time, usually after receiving several automated texts, and always had to hard reset the phone to fix the problem, which in this case, with the Tilt2, would have been a major hassle getting it just the way I like it again.
I changed my settings to the default UI and then ran the exe file, then switched back to TouchFlo 3D, but the count was still wrong, so I performed the soft reboot like you suggested and again, it was still there, so I just ran the zip file again and it was gone with out another reboot.
Thanks again.
=)
works great thx a bunch

Unread text in message fix
and easy fix for this Is safe inbox extender it gives you the option to mark all messages as read something the original option fails to do so download it and no more hard resets
Laters
thank god it freakin worked! ive had to deal with this for months now!
the first time i ran it, it said it had taken out the message on the scan so i exited the scan and did a soft reset, and it didnt work. so then i ran the scan again and this time did the reset before exiting the scan, and that worked like a charm. so if your havin issues with it try that. thank you again so much for that, im glad someone finally figured this issue out

go to tools, then file explorer and find the file, select it then press the menu button, one of your selections should say "extract" (select it), then youll get a screen askin where you want to save it, just to make it easier on yourself save it to your storage card, once this is done go through your program files again and you should see 2 files with "fixunreadcount" (one is the folder logo which you just extracted from, the other is a little window logo thing which is the actual file), select the file with the window thing and it will then run the scan, after that press the reset button on the side of your phone. if it doesnt work the first time (it didnt for me), run the scan again and reset again and it should work

WM 6.5 lockscreen clock?

I couldn't find anything on this, maybe I wasn't searching correctly. If I missed the fix somewhere, i apologize in advance.
I'm running the HTC WM 6.5 rom with a few reg tweaks and every night since Nov. 2, 2009 [DST], the clock on the lockscreen gets stuck at 00:00 and won't advance to 00:01. It won't even change until I restart my phone. This is the T-Mobile USA TP2, if that would make any difference. I'm not sure I've messed with any of the reg files that have to do with the clock, so I'm not sure why this is happening.
I also tried downloading the fix ".cab" from Micro$haft and for some reason, I couldn't send it through bluetooth from my PowerBook G4 and my TP2. So then I tried downloading it in the mobile IE browser. No go. It downloaded it as a .tsk file, which, aas you may or may not know, is a WM theme file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to fix this strange quirk.
connect the phone to the computer and select 'storage card' as access type on the menu that pops up on the phone then just copy & paste it over there (if your pbook supports copy & paste...sry just had to throw it in after ur microshaft comment ).
As for the clock, are you running a custom rom at all? If not, then do it, if so, then revert from it lol. I have no idea on that but I don't have that problem at all. Maybe try turning off touchflow and then turning it back on once the problem has occurred (go to settings -> all settings -> today -> items -> uncheck touchflow or sense, depending on rom, hit ok and exit, then repeat the steps to turn it back on.
Jason
I'm running the HTC WM 6.5 rom with my own registry edits in it. I haven't noticed it the clock doing this lately but I have been getting my sms messages and it says that they're actually received at the same time from two days ago. I'm really not understanding why it's doing this. This phone has done random funny things since I've started using it.

Haunted by message sent bubble

I have looked and can't seem to find the right solution. Obviously it is well known the small issue with the "SMS/MMS Message Sent" Bubble. I edited the registry so it would go away. About a month later it came back after a restart. I went back and changed the registry but this time it didn't go away. I found the .cab fix and installed it and it worked fine. However, once I restart it returns and is unaffected by registry edits for some crazy reason. The only thing that works is the .cab fix but it returns once I have to restart. Is there any reason it would ignore the registry edits and continue to come back?
This is TP2 with Stock WM6.5
sometimes reg edits don't stick after a soft reset. Try changing the registry, exiting out of the reg editor app and then power off the device (hold down power button) instead of soft reset. then boot it back up.
Also you could try to install advanced config and set it to not show the message sent notification from that app and see if it does a better job
No luck, the registry is set so both the HTC and verizon bubbles don't show up but I still get it, not both just the bubble one whichever one that is. Makes no sense.
Tried advanced config. Was already set to all notifications disabled. Not sure what else I can do
sms notify bye bye

Just use the main forum search and look for "advanced config"
...which will lead you to THIS thread
Thanks for the link - it was late last night - sorry for being lazy

No prob, we all do the same sometimes, and I figured that might be the case, so I went ahead and put the link in too Let us know if it works for you!
I too want to disable the "SMS Sent" bubble.
But when I ran adv config, it said that that feature was already disabled, so I guess I will try turning it "ON", then off and see if that works - and report back.
Well that doesn't help me...idk why my phone feels like ignoring the advanced config and the registry...can anyone help. Cab doesn't fix it, reg edit doesn't work, and advanced config doesn't
Is there more then one cab file made for this? I never had this issue with 6.1
Anybody know the answer? This is driving me nuts
I don't know which ROM you are running, but try setting the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMsg=2. That has worked for me in the past with the stock verizon 6.1 and 6.5 ROMs.
Wow looks like it worked. Why that works I have no idea. I am running Stock 6.5. Thanks a lot! Hopefully it doesn't come back again
+1 for the change value to 2! Thanks! I did it on my TP2 with 6.1 on it and since going to stock VZW 6.5 it was driving me nuts! Couldnt remember how to get rid of it again

Problem with "customize quick settings" in energy rom (23Nov)

I recently installed the energy rom on my evo (the version dated from 23Nov). When I go into the "customize quick settings" menu (under energy tweaks->notification menu options), it gives an error message and goes back to the energy tweaks menu. Please see attached image. It basically closes unexpectedly and I never get to change any of the quick settings. I was wondering if this is a known issue or not? I did a search and found nothing on this forum (or google for that matter).
I also had problems with restoring my mail settings with titanium backup, but I would bet you guys tell me that is a non-related problem and go pick a fight with the tb guys. Basically, after restoring stored mails and mail settings, the mail application fails to load (closing unexpectedly), giving a similar error as the one from above. I had to basically just restore only bookmarks and sms/mms messages and redo the mail settings myself.
Can anyone help with this? Or maybe the developer of energy rom can fix this and implement in the next release.
I would have posted this in the energy rom thread, but there is this gay rule about needing 10 posts. So, I guess I will wait till I get 10 posts.

I had the same type of problem. (HTC process stopped.) I think it has something to to with the semitransparent drop downs. I had to put them back to the original settings, and it has been fine since. By the way, this is by far the best ROM that I have flashed.
