How can I update to Manila 2.1, I won't to reinstall new ROM, only update manila.

actually you can but it requires disabling the old manilla and enabling the new one after its been installed (old manilla will still be on your phone though).
You are better off just upgrading to a newer ROM that has 6.5 and TF3D2.

there are a few out there. I've tried the latest GenY and its pretty good.

I think wm6.5 is slower than wm6.1.
I will try Gen.Y D2 R2-Rev.Y's ROM.
I use SwiftBL V7.5 Lite ROM now.

Try Don Salari clean ROM 23009 and Benko286(23017) Full ROM it is good but abit slow.
dont forget to that you must have hardspl in your device.

What's your iPAQ model?
Even the WM6.1 is English, you can install CE-Star to read/write CHT.

Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted here but I'm starting to get bored with WM6 so fancy the shift to WM6.1
I read through the topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=435480 as this pointed me in the direction of some vanilla esk builds, however these still have a lot of modification done.
I'm after a ROM which is exactly as it comes out of the WM6.1 box, so none of the HTC gadgetry installed, MS Calculator and Windows Update still available etc. The only thing it needs to have is Office - Doesn't even matter if it's out of date because I can install the update from MS.
Is there such a ROM that anyone knows of?

Thanks for the relpy, however how do I know which ROM is WM6.1? Should I be looking at the build numbers?
I see some of the ROM's listed state WM6 but none mention WM6.1

I've done USPL on my phone and installed the new ROM this morning which worked fine, however this ROM is only WM6 not WM6.1.
Does anyone have a Vanilla build of WM6.1 with no TouchFLO, any extra or anything removed?

I have frustrated of trying all the roms. Manila 3D, touch Flo.... etc...
All of them have some bugs and need to resolve.
Like today, when I need the GPS thing to be functioning and guess wat, in the end i paid the taxi driver for the route.
So please, may I ask, where I could download the official WWE 6.1 rom for our trinity.

If you have hard-spl you need anything else but download the official rom from HTC to have the WM5
Official WM6.1 for trinity does not exist...only here in XDA.
try the Roms made by tnyynt to get all you need from your trinity... they are fast and stable...they are a bit old but i still use them since i don't like manilla aswell.
Nope, there was official wm6.0 rom update for dopod d810. Try this.

All of them having bugs.

from my personal experience it drains a hell lot of battery than wm5.0 official rom only thing i miss are office 6.1 and gps functions. i wish there was a way i can install office 6.1 on wm5.0, i downloaded the office mobile cab files for trinity but they don't work when i install they show unknown icons and dont open when i click on them.

Ok Thank You, but I will continue to use the Energy Rom.
I wantes a light 6.5 Rom, because of the Blackberry Application Suite. Then I flashed an very light (unter 50MB) 6.1 Rom hexedited to display the Diamond as an Raphael. The BBAS started fine, but without an BIS Plan (costs) is ist just unusable. So I have come back to the Energy 6.5.3 Rom which is very great.

Yes, the latest ROM 2.11. 2.11 ROM, but do not have the automatic time correction can be .. .. I think it's more handy..

Bluetooth DUN is broken in this ROM.
In fact, a tried a few custom ROMs too (6.5 versions), and bluetooth DUN was broken in all of them. The only ROM I found that has working BT DUN profile is the stock 1.93.xx version.
Any of you guys happen to know any newer ROM, be it custom or stock version, that has working BT DUN?

Yes, it really lite and smooth.
You can even remove some unnecessary apps from this ROM with OSkitchen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=628948. It is very easy.
However, the scroll of wm6.1 is ugly (no break, for example in contacts). Does anybody know how to scroll as smooth as wm6.5 (the only remarkable improvement )
