Full official version WM 6.1?

Hi there,
I am looking for a official WM 6.1 for the Trinity. Dos this version exist? And if there is no official WM6.1 for the Trinity what is the best rom to use? I am looking for a good working rom, no light version. If there is a dutch version ik like to have that one but a english version will also do it. Im sorry for the stupid questions but am an little new in this.

There is no official 6.1 for the Trinity. And there is also no "BEST" ROM....every ROM is different depending on what you want and need. ROMs are made by peoble....so download more than one...flash around and try...thats the only way you will find a ROM that works well for you!

I have readed that there are many problems with the wm6.1 roms like no bluetooth. If i wait al little bit longer the roms become better?
Are there roms who have no problems? is wm6.1 better than wm6?

it is not like there is no blue tooth, in fact, there is bluetooth. all u need is just the patch to fix the problem. before, I also thought that wm6.1 makes my bluetooth connection error. but after using a patch, it works normally now.

Back to WM5

so i decided to go back to wm5 after buying my dash with wm6 already installed. Kinda ran sluggish having freezing and reboot probs i was lucky to have save my wm5 offical rom from tmo back in 06' to disk. now i have 23mb program memory used and only storage memory says 75.56 total and free is 68.51 only using 7.05 runs quick quick like that htc rom 1.33
if anyone needs this rom please pm me
if anyone here thinks i should go back to wm6 PLEASE give me opinons
they are most welcomed

you also have to remember that since this is a CLEAN install you are naturally going to have more free storage and more free memory. Unless you don't install ANYTHING on your phone this is going to deteriorate over time.

Can i get a copy of the OM...i like collecting them
BTW, y would you downgrade?

If you decide to upgrade. You need to upgrade to 6 then 6.1, or you will have issues. Remember baby steps

I would recommend kavana's ROM only if you plan on using the phone as more than just a phone. If all you do is make and receive calls, then any ROM will suit you. But, if you like flare, and additional functionality as well as speed, then yes the kavana 6.1 ROM is the best i've seen so far. And i have tried the Wm5 t-mo Wm6 t-mo the HTC 1.33 brightpoint ROM and kavana's ROM and kavana's is the best for an "everything" ROM

I totally agree.
The only one i have not tried was Rickys but his is kavanas prior to his English version.
You need to MAXIMIZE the S620, or else go get a v3T

so what rom verison and what else do i have to tweek to make this dash sweet and issues or tweaks i need to do and yes ill sign up with mediafire and upload that rom for ya today

Defenitely just upgrade to Kavana's latest and greatest ROM.

Just upgrade to Kavanas 6.1 V18 (link on his thread)
you dont need to sign up. Just upload and it spits out a link for you.

Stock Vanilla WM6.1 ROM

Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted here but I'm starting to get bored with WM6 so fancy the shift to WM6.1
I read through the topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=435480 as this pointed me in the direction of some vanilla esk builds, however these still have a lot of modification done.
I'm after a ROM which is exactly as it comes out of the WM6.1 box, so none of the HTC gadgetry installed, MS Calculator and Windows Update still available etc. The only thing it needs to have is Office - Doesn't even matter if it's out of date because I can install the update from MS.
Is there such a ROM that anyone knows of?

Thanks for the relpy, however how do I know which ROM is WM6.1? Should I be looking at the build numbers?
I see some of the ROM's listed state WM6 but none mention WM6.1

I've done USPL on my phone and installed the new ROM this morning which worked fine, however this ROM is only WM6 not WM6.1.
Does anyone have a Vanilla build of WM6.1 with no TouchFLO, any extra or anything removed?

I've tried extracting these roms and they dont extract properly, must be "protected". I cant wait for a Yue's extra lite 6.5 rom or something similar.

Hi guys, I tried this last night, yea its quick but as soon as i changed that iphone theme with something more like able, the Playboy Playmate Review by Phonatic and a few other Apps, it slowed down also it contains that activesync bug too. Gotta remember its Beta and hope some of our experienced cookers can rape and mark it with there own stamp !!

I had this rom for 3 days and it is really slow. I did not like the way it works and everything when a new message is received, I try to use the manilla it would hang. Hence I used the other 6.5 Rom from PDAviet. It is stable and also consume less battery than PDAMobiz rom.

I would love to have ExtraClean YuE 6.5.

I think its ever best window for artemis.
I am testing it to detect if any bug.

Hello, i'm Thai and very impressive with this rom after using 2 days.
I think he made this rom by using Extra Tools (Full SYS and Full XIP ported)
This rom use Camera software Ver 6.13 so you can fix focus quickly and include with Panorama Mode.
But the important is This rom is a beta Version.

Too bad the hardware does not support any kind of focus. It is impossible to get auto focus of any kind to work because the camera/lens simply cant support it. 6.13 is also included in Gullums rom and some other roms, unfortunately it wont allow you to focus on anything.

Is there a stable WM 6.5 ROM for the P3600 (NOT 3600i)?

Hi,
I have to flash the rom anyway (there are some strange things happening to my device, I fear it is hijacked). Since I am only an interested end user, not so much interested in testing - I would like to know whether I should use one of the latest WM6.5 or a stable WM6.1 rom. I already have a 6.1 rom, but a quite early one ([english ROM LVSW_Trinity_WM6_v2.0.1.1 (2007-05-27)]) and thus not so reliable.
The first issue, however is, since I own a P3600 (400 MHz only) with ROM: 128 MB and RAM: 64 MB SDRA only, whether WM 6.5 would ever run stable on this device. Does anyone have a well founded opinion on this issue?
Anyway, what would be the most stable version?
From my side, no language preference, English would be as fine as German.

Chanvi 's one are good ROM(s) .. On my opinion, i prefer the 6.1 rom with manila 2D more usable than 6.5 with CHome ...

This one is more stable, then Chanvi's, from my opinion, i had much more bugs using different builds from chanvi's, even in different customisations.
Savesaint's has it's own bugs, and i can't customise it (because it's not a kitchen), but i prefer using that one.
But 3600's wm5 doesn't look like this one

I use from 3 month now and i have no problem with FInixNOver 3.7.2 light, before i use FInixNOver 3.7.2 manilla and it work very good.I was change it becose in manilla i have 12 mb free memory and igo stops sometimes.

this is another vote for the FInixNOver 3.7.2 light rom, for stability you cant get anything better than this ... i've tried a lot of roms and have allways gone back to this one.
I've tried all the 6.5 version roms and to be honest mate ... dont go there, they all have their issues.

But I am confident since the savesaint 815 that we are going to have a very stable Rom soon. From my experience this was the best in 6.5 roms.

I agree, things got to get done. WM 6.5 it's not final version yet. Still in development from Microsoft... so got to wait a bit more so that we can really talk about a stable ROM.
Until there, with minor or sometimes a bit major bugs, the latest Builds are working better...

installed the rom and after playing with it for a while, i must say that this rom is very good. quick and stable. so i think i stick with this rom for a while.
wm 6.5 is cool, but it soo slow with newer releases, so that i cant use it anymore.

first i was very happy with wm6.5 (first releases). But the more wm6.5 goes further, it's soo slow and the response time is very long (i use spb mobile shell).
I never had problems with tomtom, but with the last wm6.5 releases tomtom runs so slow

So is there a greek rom for htc 3600 wm6.5?

Guys i also vote for FInixNOver 3.7.2 manilla 2d rom. but i find a problem with it. the thing is i cannot find the fm radio program on the rom i searched every where, program files all the folders in it but couldnt find and i even tried to search and ask in the rom authors thread even but no reply yet. i would really like to have it. is there a cab somewhere i could use? thanks for help really appreciate this site.

You all welcome to try my rOms.

If you are looking for stability, I definitely recommend trying Tomme45i's latest ROM series:
[ROM+KITCHEN][WWE][26.08.09]WM 6.1.21054 + 6.5.23017 Classic
He has stripped away the fancier elements of 6.5 (so personal preference will play a part in deciding if it is the ROM for you) but it's incredibly stable, has excellent memory handling and suffers from no memory leaks.
It is probably the last of his Trinity ROMS, so well worth checking out.
