Upgrading HTC 8125

Hey everyone, is there an update for the Cingular 8125 to windows mobile 6? I used the lockiwiz to unlock my phone, worked great! thanks for that awesome tool!!!!!

Would just like to point out a few names for the kaiser that i found running around the web

Does Anyone Know if the HTC Touchflow interface will work on other devices?

Im quite new to this, but I read somewhere that the HTC touch and all the touch series are not real touch systems like the iPhone in that they also allow the use of a stylus.
Does this mean that they basically use the same type of screen as the other devices and as such the Touchflow system is just a Software trick ?
That led me to wonder if the Touchflow system could be flashed onto other devices I have an XDA Exec (Universal) and an XDA Orbit (not sure of the HTC designation for this) so Im specifically asking about these two devices.

If you search threads for Xda orbit (HTC Artemis or HTC P3300) touchflo, you can download the ROM to replace the existing ROM on your Orbit and this will allow you to use the touchflo on your phone!
I've been using it for the past few months and it's all fine at the moment.

Finally a lite version of this ROM..Not having enough space after installing my apps was the main problem for me also..Can't wait for some .cabs also

Any chance u could pack all the .cabs into on file also for rapidshare? Will take forever for me to get them. thanks

is that 22.57mb program memory from a fresh boot up? is this normal for wm6.1 roms? on my shamanix wm6, i get around 26mb from a fresh boot.

Does seem low for a lite bootup...I'm getting currently regular 28 mb with dvh 19900 (which was the case with prior wm6.1 lites).

I installed this ROM 5 hours ago and have been able to get everything working pretty well, except experienced one strange thing.
I used to press the Phone End key to minimize all apps and get to the Today screen, but now for some reason once I press the End key, it beeps and disconnects my data. I could have swore that I read this somewhere recently, but now I can't figure out how to re-configure the End key for normal operation.

Data disconnect is the normal operation for a long press, and a short press should go back to the today screen as you describe above.

Yeah, that's what I was reading, but the data disconnect is happening on a short press. Is there a registry hack to correct this.

So it "really" doesnt do anything over whats standard in a WM6x build

Hi there this is caused because you have selected enable disconnect grps button in advanced config. If you disable that button the problem should go away in my experience. Cheers!

Is anyone able to package the cabs or post them elsewhere. Rapidshare is not so rapid when u only get one file per day. Many thanks.

After installing all my software I have less than 30mb program left. The ROM is fast but there still too much loaded on this ROM to be called lite..
Another problem I have is the HTC Home you have included does not allow for removing the tabs in the today settings. I can't even install the version I usually use. While this is close it really needs to have more removed so we can put our own software in..
If this ROM just had whats below it would definitly be lite

Office doesn't seem to work. Neither Audio Manager. I didn't find Diamond Album in programs.

Does Rhodium have driver issues like the HTC devices based on the MSM7200 and MSM7500 chipsets from Qualcomm?

I did read that from the website, ... but the last update of that page was at 2008 thats 2 years ago and the Rhodium did not exist at that time .. so i was wondering wither the Touch Pro2 have the same problem

seriously? .. noone is aware of this issue?

I know, there is a cab files supposed to increase TP2 graphics possibilities. Especially for video and games. It is a cab file. The name is:
At0mAng Enhanced D3D Drivers but I can't find it, for the moment.
Keep on searchin'.... ;-)

I'd say that every Windows Mobile HTC with a Qualcomm MSM7xxx processor has graphics driver problems. While it may not be nearly as bad on the Rhodium as it was on previous devices, all the devices still underperform. It could just be Windows Mobile, but if you put an Android device with proper GPU drivers (aka any Android device) and put it next to a Pro2 and run some kind of graphics benchmark on each, the performance difference is staggering between the two. Even the HD2 has graphics problems, and unofficial drivers had to be released to replace the under performing drivers included.

Thanx for the input! i guess you're right, the TP2 has this problem, .... but the Custome D3D seems to work like a charm, .. wonder wither it will have effect in the PS emulator
