I have upgraded my cingular-8525 (like TyTn-I) from WM6.0 to WM6.1 (HTC version) after up gradation on my slider keyboard Y-key replaces with Z-key. Kindly help me out how to fix this issue.

That issue caused maybe due to error during upgration?!
why don't you just spend a little time more to upgrade again? hope it can fix the problem!
the other thing is also the ERROR ROM, try to download another one!

Hi, i just changed my XDAII mini to XDA stealth
I found that it HAS a very slow response when I tried to use the phonepad for typing sms (using ezitext)
somebody gave me advice to upgrade my rom which is available in seeo2.com
it will upgrade the rom into RM2 061208
but it's written that the upgrade is only for gadget HAVING rom RM060921
while my gadget's rom is RM 061208...
well...i'm confused,,,can it still be applied on my gadget while my rom is not RM060921????
i need an improvement on the phonepad function.It really sucks...very slow,,,is there any suggestion for solving this problem????

you have the most current rom update.
I just got a new stealth and it had the older rom version - I upgraded and have no probs with the phonpad - it is quick.
I have the RM061208 ROM. eZiText still has slow response.
Upgrade to WM6

Windows Mobile 6 ROM is available here. You dont need to worry. Just download the ROM and flash it. This will solve your problem as well as you will get newer os.

My friend has a hx4700, it's in excellent condition and good working order except the backlight won't work at all - can't adjust the backlight what ever i did.
I have helped to upgrade the OS from wm2003 to Wm5.0 but the issue still can't fix.

Im using WM6, a very good rom made by kozhura on my 4700 and i dont have that problem your having. Maybe a hardware fault? try flashing it with another rom or do a factory reset.

I have noticed, there are problems with ActiveSync after ROM flashing appearing.
To be specific, ActiveSync activates itself automatically, without any obvious reason. ActiveSync window is also activated whenever an USB connector is used (thus also when charging only)!
I went through the several threads already, finding two fix-tips mentioned in there. However none of them seems to work in my case:

I have to admit, I am also surprised by the fact that I have the same problem independently on the ROM flashed (experienced with A.Z.T.O.R. V7 & SwiftBL Diamond V7.5 Full so far – that’s also the reason why I’ve decided to set this new thread).
Can somebody help me to solve this problem (which is obviously bothering more users already)?
Dou you have any explanation to this behavior?

My initial ROM: O2 GE ROM 1.37
Actual ROM:
SPL: 1.40.OliNex
A.Z.T.O.R. V7 (previously SwiftBL Diamond V7.5 Full tested)
May the reason be some improper flash-procedure?
What is the reason of hard-reset after flash? (When it should be done?)

I dont know if the problem was there in the officil ROM,
but i have Swift 7.5 ROM and it has the activesynckill,
but no result. ActiveSync starts on itself.
Hm, maybe someone find a resolution to this problem.

The problem is that even after I close AS
it starts by itself without connecting the phone
to the pc. Is runing in the background. If I see it
I close it and after some time there it is again,
runing in the background.
So do I have the same problem and the solution mentioned above couldn't solve the problem.

I would like to know why there are SOME users having this problem, when some others never heard about it! There has to be some reason causing this kind of trouble...
I don't like using extra fix generally, I prefer finding the solution! ;-)

*(Z) replaced by #(X)
#(X) replaced by '(S)

=(I) replaced by -(0)
-(0) replaced by TAB
~(K) replaced by $
[](L) replaced by =(I)
¥(Q) replaced by %

The ROM isn't the issue, its your eT9 key map. Look at the bottom of my ROM link below and download the appropriate Tegic CAB for your device (Softbank I assume):

Thank you so much for your help but it doesn't work when I install your CAB. When I installed it, I cannot type E R T D F G C V B instead 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and I cannot use FN button neither.

i tried three of them but the key map still wrong! is there any solution with this issue with softbank keypad??

what did you install. I don't think anybody understand what you're writing.
Sound, GPS and camera issues are usually fixed by flashing the correct radio rom.
Install radio version 1.71.09.01 and all should be fine.
