Camera game for PPC, why cant? - General Accessories

Dear All XDA master,
I'm an amateur XDA user, I dont know anything about cooking, developing program. I've know that in S60 mobile, some game are very interesting, just like: attack of virus killer, mosquitos... . but they're all in SIS file type, cant use for XDA.
The XDA still have the high quality camera, why cant build some game like that? I've known that the 3D lawn darts game (concrete) have the same game play (using camera to play). So is it posible to develop game using camera to play in XDA?
Thanks for reading!

Fishopolis
Check out Fishopolis. Hasn't been updated for a while, but it used to work just fine on my HTC Wizard and Qtek 8500. I don't know about any other games like this though.

What can we expect for the microsoft app store?

I really hope developers who design apps for the iphone and android will also make stuff for our app store. I've seen many great things from the android market( while many are in my opinion useless ). For example, the emualtor they have for android and iphone run very smooth with sound and all. especially the android ones! Yes we have morphgear and a bunch of others that run smooth...as long as you keep the sound off. Most of the emulators out for winmo havent been updated in who knows how many years! Whats the point if you're playing an rpg game like chrono trigger for example if you have no sound. What apps are you guys hoping to see on the microsoft app store?
Actually similar to what you're saying...
Multimedia, games...
I downloaded a couple of demos today from Microsofts Windows Mobile page...Wow they looked like 8bit Master System graphics...
Not cool...
Honestly thats all we PPC users lack IMO.

I went to gameloft site. Didn't find any WinMo games. All games are for iPhone, iPad, and Android. They don't seem to support any WinMo phones.
Have a look at

[Q] Playstation Pocket

Hi and good day to all
(this is my 1st post actually)
just got the Xperia Play last week and just sold my old galaxy5 .. been browsing the forums and upgraded it to the latest firmware and kernel(thanks Mr DoomLord!)..
that's why it also inspired me to create an account and be a part of this forum rather than lurking.. anyway,
I saw some games for the xperia play and its all great but
I'm not quite familiar with the playstation pocket feature.. and the're also what they call FPSE and Psx4Droid, and cant seem to understand how to use them or which to use, right now im just playing the stock Crash Bandicoot shipped with it.
Can someone advice what's best to use or the easiest to setup because Ive tried to check those emulators and got me all confused with mixed opinions from people on other forums..
Thank you very much for your time
~nooj
Ok Playstation pocket is and app that list's all your bought "official" playstation games. If you launch the app and click on the search icon, a list of all available games to buy will be listed although there are not many yet.
Both psx4droid and FPse are playstation emulators. FPse is by far the more superior of these applications, I am yet to find a game that dosent run pretty perfectly on FPse. To use these emulators legally, you need to first rip the bios from your PS1 into .bin format, then rip any game you wish to play into .iso/.bin/.cue/ect.
Thanks Androhero!
Okay! Will try FPSE!
Is there already a free downloadable links for this?
I'm excited to play FF7 and MGS1 ! Thanks!

FPSE FF7 Settings?

Does anyone know what the best settings for the One X would be?
I've been messing around with the video settings for a few days now but I can't figure out what the best configuration is, anyone have any experience with this?
I advice you to use epsxe emulator, it has less options then fpse but the sound is 100% identical(fpse really has bad sound...) and visual wise it's good too! Also 60 fps constant. As for options for fpse just use frame limiter and software emulation or opengl and frame limiter, but still ff7 has most epic soundtrack ever and fpse fails to emulate most of the sounds and music!

Thanks, now if you can continue being so nice and guide me through how to continue playing my save game that I've saved on FPSE on the EPSXE I'll gladly switch!
I've put some work into the game already, and just starting from scratch doesn't seem an enjoyable option for me since I've beating this game many times in my child-hood and I'm just replaying it for the memories.
And I do agree with you, sound is pretty ****ty on FPSE and that takes the experience right away from emulating FF7 on it!
I don't have fpse anymore but I'm pretty sure there's an mcr file you have to copy and paste from your fpse folder to epsxe. Or you can copy your in game save states to epsxe. (memcard is better though) Let me look it up for you, as I bought fpse a while ago.
Also check this out. http://www.fpsece.net/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2248

Basically your question but answered, but for PC (should work for Android though, need root access though)

Thanks, friend!
I'll do this tomorrow, first I need some sleep!
Ok I can confirm it works with transferring your memory card from fpse to epsxe. (save state doesn't work! Has a different framework)
The memory card is located at /sdcard/.FPSE./memcard (its a hidden folder so make sure your file explorer has show hidden folders enabled.)
Copy slot1.mcd to epsxe memcard folder (located at sdcard) and rename the file to epsxe000.mcr launch epsxe and enjoy no more missing sounds! I bought them both and the two euros I spent for epsxe were worth my money Let me know if you need help if it doesn't work but it worked out for me, happy ff7ing man!

Sweet, that's even easier.
Thanks a lot man, you're a great dude, taking time to even test it yourself and such!
Np man just wanting to give you that oldskool rpg feeling back, but ofcourse with 100% smooth emulation

Thanks a lot, I had the same problem and didn't want re-start the game
Ouu this sounds fun
All I need now is to find a decent FF7 iso I guess...
Going to install EPSXE now! :good:
Epsxe on an HD720p screen like ours just sucks hard.
But if you like pixels, why not, right, you won't have any difficulties to set it up, there are almost no possible settings xD
Final Fantasy 7 without Fpse's openGL mode is just ugly.
As for sound, I guess you've tried Spusync option? And what format is your iso? if it's .bin, you need the .cue that goes with.
Also use framelimiter to get constant fps, and play a little with "latency" option in MISC settings. FF7 runs perfect in openGL on my oneX, no sound problem, and no ugly pixels and blurry filtering like Epsxe
@AndyLeJizm: "visual wise", Epsxe is just ugly on HD screen and tablets. Fpse can render PS1 game at your screen real resolution, and sound problems can most of the time be solved if you use the accurate settings.
Also Epsxe may have better support for sh...y downloaded ROMs from the internet, that's true, and explains most of the time why people go to Epsxe.....

It looks fine to me (somewhat smoother graphics then original ps1, cause they have hardware rendering now with new update), whoever played final fantasy 7 knows that graphics don't matter especially for a game that's thirteen years old and sound is super important with oldskool rpg games. And yes I've spent countless nights to figure out how to get perfect sound emulation on both my phone and tablets with fpse but it never came close to 100% (missing instruments in music, sound fx that sounded real bad) In my opinion, if you don't care about nifty graphics but really want 100% the same identical ps1 rom (or ofcourse a music lover that loves oldskool nobuo uematsu fantasy music) as it was supposed to be then epsxe really
Is better. Might not be the best looking but it sure is the best sounding my two cents.

What are your settings? It should run fine on that! (mess around with your settings.)

On my Galaxy S5 both emulators run smooth. I use fpse, because the opengl plugin works great, makes the game look way better than on the PS.
And still it runs smooth. In fact, no matter what settings i try, fpse seems to be around 10% too fast. I played youtube movies of fixed sequences, such as the gold sauces speed square, as they run on the PS and my emulated game clearly finished earlier, even when i synchronized them at the beginning. This is with frame limit enabled of course.

[Discussion] PPSSPP Game compatibility

Hi, i'm starting this thread since the PPSSPP emulator is working great, the people here could share games that are working, the setup
and if possible a game video, because the only threat that has that info is outside here and is for every version so the game could be playable but not in GNex, so share your info with us and i'll give proper credit and update all the info on the OP
I tried out "bleach heat the soul 7" in my s2... Worked fantastic!
"God of war ghost of Sparta" did not go, well lags a lot...
"Raw vs smack down 2010" worked without lags but only the shoes of the players were visible.. So drop the idea of it...
