I have looked around the forum and I have not really seen anyway to get the t-zones key back to pulling up t-zones after a flash...anyone know how? Or have the files to place in there? Or will I have to re-flash to t-mobile and extract them? I liked the ability to see my current usage from the handset, without having to log in to see it, and even then you dont get all the info. You only get your minutes....

You can just go to www.mytmobile.com/pda and #646# for minutes, and there are a few other commands for bill and texts, etc.
The T-Zones wap browserhas to be installed all the non-branded roms won't have a branded software.

For anyone that cares... i have gotten it to work for me with three files...
drop the winwap.exe into \windows\
and drop t-zones.lnk into \windows\start menu\
and then make sure your data connection is set for wap.voicestream.com and not internet2.voicestream.com
(i creted a new connection for the internet2 and then i went into pim and set it to that connection)
now if you want you t-zones key to run to t-zones instead of celetask just drop short_ie.lnk into you windows folder otherwise you will have to go to your start menu.
i extracted these from the original t-mobile rom!
Hmm, why can't I change the LCD looking font? I changed it to Segoe Condensed but it's still stuck on the LCD font...bleh

Thank You SO Much for the Posts and Help Guys!!! I flashed my ROM right after I bought my phone and I just figured my T-Zones was lost (but worth the loss, ha ha ) so this is VERY helpful!! I can see my account again, yay!
ok I managed to copy those files to the phone, but when I run the app, it gives me a connection error: "While retrieving the wap t-zones com the following error occured HTTP error 408. request timeout.
When selecting options, the boxes are greyed-out and I cannot change the URL.
I'm running the 3VOLUTION [WM6.5 STD 21854][Build 3VO.3.00.112509] rom on the HTC dash.
please excuse the previous question.. the problem has solved itself. restarted the phone and things seem to suddenly work.
As you might have notice, I speak english... but every web address I use in opera mini seems to come up in Norweigan and/or German I believe? I'm using the Kevana ROM and just reflashed it this morning as I thought it was something I may have done...
I looked in the opera settings and found nothing..
the only thing I could come up with is maybe it defaults because TMobile is Deutcsch Telecom.. but operamini works fine on my friends tmobile phone, so that's out.

The path is actually HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/InternetPush
And the EnablePushInternet value is 1 by default. That's not gonna get you push internet though.
Like Opera Turbo, does your service provider need to have its own servers to do compression in order to use this? Anyone who flashed a European ROM on the TMO TP2, please let us know if Push Internet works.

Has absolutely nothing to do with your service provider, I believe.
I think its not working for us just because we don't have Opera Mobile as our true browser. There must be something that is still poluted by IE, preventing it.
And lol, my keyboard can't decide if its dark enough to stay lit or not, LOL. Its flashing on and off every 3 seconds as I type. How weird, lol.
Ok so my droid is flashed to cricket and I'm sure many of you have heard of the new IP change. Well i replaced the autostart.sh file with the one that contains the new IP, and my browser works fine but now my apps dont work (as in they don't get internet access) =/... anyone have any ideas?
P.S: I was looking through ##debug on the phone and on the evdo programming tab it has the old ip address and maybe thats the issue ... how would i change that?

I'm trying to install the free mobile security app i got with the PHP insurance from tmobile. Because i have cm7 installed, it wont let me passed the setup for the app. I have found a related forum about this but has to do with the g2 and editing the build.prop to change the product name. I'm trying to figure out what would be the stock name for the defy. I have tried changing the entry "ro.product.model" to "ro.product.model=defy" with no luck. anyone got a clue?
