I'm having a rather paticular issue with the battery icon, and unfortunately searching does not bring any relevant results.
I've flashed numerous 6.1 roms, so do not think it is rom related, as the issue is apparent with all roms - including the oem one.
Sporadically, when the phone wakes up, the battery icon is showing a -1 status, no charge bars - or an empty battery. As soon as I change screens, and then go back to the home screen - the battery icon is showing the actual percentage, etc. Icon appears full based on status, etc.
I've tried a few different battery status icons, including batterystatus as well as the ones that come with the roms, and have the same issue.
Anyone having a similar issue ?? Is it hardware related ??
Any feedback greatly appreciated
Hello,
I´ve got an I900 Omnia.
Is there a prog which closes applications like a GPS navi for instance automatically at a certain percentage before the battery is completly empty, so that it won´t even turn on again.
The notification that comes up by wm6 appears to late and doesn´t close all apps.
I haven´t found anything but battery monitors although in my opinion an app like this is essentially, because it is extremly frustrating when your on the way and the phone simply turns off because you had forgotten to close a prog that drains the battery.
greetings
I've used 40% of my battery, with 15 apps open. But, the screen doesn't show any of those apps. I mean, Android OS isn't even there!
This weird lack of battery usage happens every once in a while, but I don't know exactly what causes it. Usually, it's has a dozen or so entries. Any ideas?
Hi everyone,
i have a battery drain problem caused by Media Server, that uses a consistent amount of my battery.
This problem only happens if I use the app TimMusic: a proprietary music streaming service of my carrier Tim (Italy), works basically like Spotify but it doesn't consume data.
If I don't use that app during the day the media server is not even visible in the battery tab in the phone's settings.
I am rooted and have installed Wakelock detector to prove this and the suspect process is not TimMusic itself but process "1013" with details "Nuplayer x1" that lasts as the Media Server time in battery section in settings (from when i start TimMusic to when I remove physically the battery) and "AudioOffload xY) with J the total number of seconds TimMusic has been playing music.
Basically when I close TimMusic the Media Server keeps searching for something until i re-insert the battery physically.
I tried to install Greenify to ibernate TimMusic and some other apps, but I'm doens't really work: MediaServer/ process keeps working.
How can I solve this? I don't want to keep re-inserting my battery physically everytime I use this app (basically everyday).
Thanks in advance.

I'm also on Telecom italia! Hello friend! You could try to create a .nomedia file if you can find where it is scanning. See what you can do, find where it is scanning and then look into the .nomedia file. There will be alot on google about it I'm sure.
You have someting corrupted to your phone thats run unstoppable this wakelock and scan all the time. Search for pictures, videos, mp3 ,dat, files to the phone storage and to the sd card to find the corruped files and delete it.
Nobody else has this issue? It does not matter what I do. I've made apps battery optimization exempt, I've changed any and all settings that you can and yet apps like Netflix, Samsung Health absolutely refuse to stay open for lengthy periods of time. Sometimes they're even still running and yet dissapear from the notification bar. I've tried everything. Even locking h m in the recent apps menu doesn't work. Is the an EMUI 5 bug?
