I bought this chinese GPS device from eBay few months back and bricked it completely by messing with its OS (registry mainly). Need firmware files to restore to original condition.

Is there an interface available that will allow video out so I can play my Universal through a standard PC projector?
Thanks in advance.
Yes it'a possible.
You can use Margi presenter to Go ( but not easy to find)
or Spectec SDV as follow

AV out
So, connection via memory card slot makes device unusefull... Just for small presentations. Nice gadget, but... Have to be another way, maybe redirect video to BT port or even to take out display cable
Yes , You are right - only small presentation - but not always .
You can use for bigger presentation something like Asus WL-HDD ( hard disc working on WiFi ) - I worked with this solution.
Other solution - cheap but only for static presentations - You have to change each slide into graphics file and send it to a Bluetooth Image Viever - like Nokia SU2
Or MMV200 from SE
As fas as I know HTC universal as Bluetooth 1.2 , witch as 721 kbit/s transmition speed.
With a speed of 721 kbit/s, ist the video transmition good enogh ?
Anybody try it ?
via WLAN it is very good idea, but battery in uni I think it is not very big enough to hold device working 2-4h... (display, wlan)...
It is another solution - very expensive, but it will work... - you can buy RedFly and use internal display or use VGA out...

CDs play at 150kBytes per second iirc and the Philips CDi player VHS quality video from CDs at that speed. They weren't DVD quality, but apart from dusty reds and muddy browns, quality was very good for what it was- fewer artifacts than most (non-BBC) Freeview digital TV broadcasts. The resolution was upto 768×560.
So, on that basis, 721kbs = 90kBs and that should offer something quite watchable. That said, is that 721kbs *total, both ways* and how close can one reasonably expect to achieving such a figure? If 721kbs is realistic, QVGA video should be attainable.
Decision support system utility for PockerPC (Windows Mobile) and for WindowsXP.
If you think how to make right choice among some variants by several criteria, in some conditions, how
to solve a problem with many ways - this utility will point you exactly !
If you just prompt it what and how you like more.

Program allows to add, edit and delete:
task with ...
... solution variants, 2...9 pcs
... criteria to compare variants, 2...9 pcs
For example, you may choose a new car among several variants, thinking about:
Dimensions of each model
Reliability statistics (by testing reviews)
Economical efficiency (fuel...)
Comfort
Cross-country ability (maybe for hunting, fishing...)
Exterior
...price, at least
and\or other, up to 9 items the program supports.
After it you just select by simple click (or PDA screen tap) the relations beetween entered criteria: what you like more.
And software will automatically calculate the priority of each variant - it's simple visible what variant is the best for you!
Without the registration software works as "shareware" allowing 1 task maximum with 4 solution variants and 4 criteria.
After payment and registration - no limit for tasks with 9\9 variants\criteria.

I want one just to do a system dump on it!

I'm aware that many people have recently been having a problem on their S6 edge+ and Note 5 units where YouTube will display all supported resolutions (up to 1440p), but only in 30Hz.
This problem is similar to one that we experienced last year on the Nexus 5, and they're both /server side/ issues.
Whereas last year we had to edit the Android version in build.prop to 4.4.2 or L to receive 1080p YouTube, the problem with the S6e+/Note 5 lies in the model number displayed in build.prop.
Google simply hasn't added these larger devices to their list of "60Hz compatible phones", so when they see that you're using a G928 or N920, they don't give you the 60Hz option.
The fix, however, is /easy/ but requires ROOT ACCES:
0: Create a backup of your build.prop (remember to set permissions to 644 or RW R R if you restore it!)
1: Open it and change the model number from SM-G928$ to SM-G925F (European S6 edge) or from SM-N920$ to SM-G920F (European S6).
2: Save, reboot, and clear YouTube's cache
Now you should be up and running with 1080p at no cost to any other functionality whatsoever!
Everything else on your phone should work exactly the same, because you're just making apps think that you have a smaller but nearly equally-specced device (they're the same except for 1GB more ram on the + and Note, but the build.prop edit won't affect that at all).
Good luck!!

I think the term you are looking for is fps, not Hz.
How do we even know anyway what is the fps of a Youtube video? I only see mention of : 720 1080 1440. Never 30 or 60. So how do we know in which framerate the vid is shown. I'm confused!
Send from my Samsung Galaxy Note 5
Finally google added s6 edge+ to his youtube lib ..
