****************************Version 1.0********************************
This theme is very simple. I wanted to keep my phone androidy but just
change a few things to make it cyanogeny also. This is the way I'll keep it
for me but if anyone has suggestions/requests, I'll be happy to take them
into consideration. Here is a (small) list of things that have changed:
* Status bar
* Black pull-down tab from l3wish's Palm Pre theme
* Normal and delete tab for launcher drawer
* Cyanogen clock (Slightly broken in this update, I'm working on a new on
this very second)
So this theme is slightly incomplete but i wanted to get it out there because
it looks awesome on my phone, and I want to share it. I will be modifying
some things today, like a new clock, and new wallpapers, and possibly
other things that you guys suggest.
Download Version 1.0: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7R7YAU10
Other miscellaneous Cyanogenized things...
I started posting wallpapers and other graphics in the CyanogenMOD updater
thread but now I'm going to be posting them here. I'll post everything
that is cyanogenized. These are all based on the icon for the CM Updater
which is now on the Android Market and the thread is right here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544663&page=39
The original icon for the CMUpdater was created by prash. I only slightly
tweeked it and made some wallpapers, a clock, and some other stuff.
First things first, the wonderful, Official Cyanogen icon:
*New giant, high-res icon*
Three Cyanogenized wallpapers:
(I'm pretty sure at least one of this will end up in his next build)
Desktop wallpaper can be found here. 1440 x 900
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa263/mrmatthewd17/desktop_logo.jpg
*New 4 x 3 clock!* Can be found here
THANKS TO xidominicanoix. HE MADE THE 4 X 3 CLOCK!
Also, regular clock. See attachments.
And that's all for now. I'll post more if more shows up. Just wanted to
spread the Cyanogen goodness!
*Notice: the attached AlarmClock.zip
contains the apk! You MUST unzip the .zip file to get the apk out

I love the un-official logo for Cyanogen....
Lets see what everyone will come up with now

two thumbs up!

Just a thought but I think the clock would look better if Android's arms where the hour and minute like one of the default alarm clocks, overall great work.

nice man maybe cyanogen will use this as his default wallpaper in his builds

So far looking good...maybe get some icons to follow the style as well...lol keep it up. Its like Cyanogen has his own OS system lmao

ps.. the brushed steel android background is not custom by me - can't find who it is.. tell me and I'll give credit here. Thanks and enjoy.
Thanks.
I like it
it looks beautiful.......thank you i like the status bar
I like it I mised Gloss on my phone only thing that is really stopping me from using this is I do not like the black Notification Bar I wish it had the Aero bar instead.
Thanks for the work man and to the themers who made the themes.
Hmm... I didn't get the nice background when I flashed this theme over Dude's 1.1a rom. Is there a way to download it separately?
Also off-topic, but on the screenshots, what's the widget called that displays the SD/internal memory status?

hi, I guess I could have made the background automatic but I didn't want to over run peoples backgrounds.. anyway, the link to the backgrounds was supposed to be active but I overlooked linking it. You can download the background and a few others here. This was listed in the original Aero thread.
The original post has been updated with the link. Thanks.
Will you be porting this over for JF1.5 or will it work on that build?
Props on the theme...best of both worlds.

wondering the same thing... figured it out though. search "widget" in market. you'll find two seperate widgets called internal memory and sd memory. they work pretty well and are 90% accurate. look good mainly and give you a general idea of memory consumption (handy for those who have a puny sd card or non a2sd build rom loaded)
@johnnylicious, Uh thats I think even more beautiful than the original template, and I thought the template in the first post was impossible to get better (was actually posting to say amazing job...)...but uh...that seems quite rediculously amazing as well...where would we get that one? Like that lock screen and such (ugh even know its close to apple its still sweet).
THANKS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK PEOPLE!
Ugh, I put this on my JFv1.5, YAY IT WORKS.
This theme is soo hott, thanks!
One question, I don't like have 5 screens, I only want 3, how do I remove 2?

I believe thats rom specific, not theme. It started several weeks ago on thedudes rom. Would have to ask them not here.
Any chance of you porting this to Haykuro's ROMS?
Simply love it.. i think that it looks better than the Gloss they updated on the 18th.. but thats my opinion... lol... but the new apps likepdf viewer and teeter didnt work oh well lol... keep it up...
someone mind Porting this to haykuro's 6.0hr1 =)
check my other thread =/
Hi!
After applying this (really cool!) theme, my german hardware keyboard now uses english layout.
Is it possible to fix this?
Bye

[Theme] JetBlack - Cyanogen 3.6.8.1 & 3.9.2(Updated 07/29)

This theme has all of Cyanogens mods working and intact I have no problem porting for other builds if there is a call for it.Thanks to ohmarni for letting me use pieces of Android Plus and Ohsaka for colorChanger.jar so white notifications are able to be done on any build.
New Version 1.5.1 fixed all of the remaining 9.png's though there could be a few stragglers, and still have all the needed files to support the HtcMusic.apk I would suggest getting one you like from here Thanks to Beags for the sweet designs.I also added my statusbar icons and new to 1.5.1a app icons there will be a version 1.5.2 with alternate 3g/edge/gprs icons if you aren't digging these.

looks good! I dig the clock
Hmm, like the idea, but too black for me. Needs some kind of outlining, for example, the border around the launcher. The pull out tab, I'd prefer it to be bigger, kinda like Kspec...now that would be sweet :]
i like .....
Only suggestion I have is making the launcher 5x4 for some reason 4 across just bugs the hell out of me.....can't explain it, just does. haha

great theme, plain and simple, but check the search bar is.. off, looks really odd, the voice search button is hanging off the frame if you know what i mean... looks nice tho, clock is definately a keeper, and chance you could make it hero size?
-=edit=- never mind about the clock, i already had clock widget active when i applied the theme, removed and replaced widget and it's nice and big and awesomely cool thanks, just the search to sort, but you may want to wait till cyan updates again, i recon there is 3.7 in the works some time soon

I like it except for the 3g icon, would still rock the theme with or without the icon though. love how this theme looks. Especially love the keyboard
I like the 3g icon but would like to see a different battery icon, like the ophone or the pre battery icons. Lovin 1.5 though. Sharp looking.
I am gonna try to make my own battery icons and see how they look I will be customizing all the notification icons and will also make app icons for this theme eventually but I want the notifications finished before I release 1.5.Now I am gonna make two versions also with different 3g,edge,gprs Icons. Thanks for your input guys its greatly appreciated.

[Clocks] Prash's Giant Clocks (3 so far) [Updated: 8/27 - added Zelda clock]

Non-Theme Based Clocks - Just for fun:

}
This was just made for fun mostly, something different than the usual when I saw that there was a group/community effort to make a Zelda theme on XDA. Even if they don't use this particular clock, I thought I'd make it available as a stand-alone flashable update for anyone that wants it.
Download: http://injun.org/themes/Prash_ZeldaClock-update.zip (4x3 version)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Theme Based Clocks - These are from themes I'm working on or have worked on in the past:
Alien Aqua
This was going to be the clock featured in an upcoming theme called "AquaAlien", for whatever reasons, I didn't really get to finish it as fast as I'd like. I just noticed an 'ahome' theme by the same name in the market so I'll possibly end up abandoning this project and just work on other things for now (its a personal thing, I don't really like taking someone else's thunder I guess since I wouldn't want it happening to me). But the clock is mostly personally made not using any of the Aqua Alien icons so I figured I'd offer the clock as a seperate update.zip file for those that want to use a new non-hero based clocks.
Download: http://injun.org/themes/Prash_AquaAlien_Clock-update.zip (4x3 version)
and (2x2 version here) - thanks xidominianoix!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
SystemForce (Based on upcoming 3.0 version)
I'm porting SystemForce over to the newer rom's so I completely redid the clock now that I am able to create a bigger sized version of it. It still matches the theme in every way but also looks good stand alone, so I figured I'd put it up for individual download for those that like to mix and match theme elements.
Download: http://injun.org/themes/Prash_SystemForce_Clock-update.zip (4x3 version)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Install:
-Download .zip file to root of your sdcard
-Flash zip (CM Recovery 1.4 lets you 'flash any zip file')
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Activate:
-On home screen, press menu > add > widgets > Analog Clock.
OR
-Long press anywhere on home screen > widgets > Analog Clock.
Be sure to have enough space for it!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've only tested it on my own Cyanogen mod Rom, so flash at your own risk!! Report back which rom's it works on and I'll add info to this post. Thanks!
NOTE: These are mostly 4x3 clocks (big size) so if you have problems flashing, remove any old clocks from home screen, flash, then add clock widget again. Be sure to leave enough room on your home screen for it to fit.
Big thanks to Ted, r_dub and everyone else in the clocks thread for the help.
this should work on many different roms including rogers if im correct
would it be alright if i added this to my ClockWidgetSwitcher program?

Please continue with this. That theme looks incredibly sleek. At least make the wallpaper, status_bar, and icons available for those of us who want it for personal use. Where'd you get this stuff from?

To explain my theme process..I find icon sets that I think look really cool, then I find matching wallpapers that would go good with that icon set, then I build my themes around that. As you can see in the screenshots I got as far as customizing the top bar (only right hand side) the clock and the status bar. The icons were put by bettercut but I'd have made them system icons as well. The last time I worked on that theme we were on Cyanogen 3.2 so as you can see its been a while since its been touched.
Now I dont use ahome so I don't know what the "AlienAqua" ahome theme in the market place looks like but since I build my themes based on the icons, its the heart of my project. I may continue with it since I'm getting positive responses here but I remember being stuck on what to do with the pull up tray images.
The best thing I loved about that theme was the boot screen..I had an animated spaceship scene which is hard to describe but looked really ****ing awesome. Too bad
If you look at my other themes, I tend to go all out and customize everything possible so it may take a while before you see any of my ideas posted. This was why alien aqua was not finished..
If theres enough demand I can zip up the wallpapers and icon sets for people to use. Not sure about the notification icons beause I can make use of them in other themes..Those that remember SystemForce version 2 may recognize some of the top bar icons from there. So i recycle..is a lot of work
that theme would look hot on a white G1 thats nice keep up the great work
I may continue working on the theme later ...maybe
Until then, I updated the entire post with a second clock, I may keep adding more on as I go along now. Enjoy!

2. you have begun changing your avatar so much it is getting hard to recognize you jk lol. i got used to the blue-ish image you had up for awhile

1) Thanks :]
2) Lol yeah I'm looking for that damn blue image..I lost it when I changed it, I'll probably go back to using that, as you may have noticed the recent changes are due to the fact I'm not happy with any new avatars.
edit: Well thank goodness for redundant backups of backups..was able to find the old avatar after all..back to normal now.
Oh man I'd love to see that zelda clock in a systemforce way!
PS: And add a triforce somewhere!
Really great looking clocks.. Looking forward to installing this.

I agree that alone is sooo great
jajaja very cool and different
That boot screen is awesome! Would it be possible get that separately? I don't even know if that's possible. I personally prefer a dark theme, but I would definitely love to have that boot screen. Good job!
Awesome Theme

Goodjob, I'm flashing this now.
Nicely done.

This theme is seriously awesome. I like the launcher tab. Can we get an updated version to work with the newest Cyanogen. And can you keep the advanced launcher, unless there is a good reason to revert back to the old one.

DITTO. I love this theme!
unfortunately - some problems
I'm sorry but since I've installed your really great THEME, I have many force closes. Home, Keyboard, Market, Browser, Gallery (pictures)-these don't work. Is there anybody else with these problem?? I would be really happy if you could fix it up (of course if this problem is in THEME) And compatibility with CM 3.9.9.1 would be really great too. Thanks a lot. I really would like to use your theme. I do like it so much

you may have gotten a bad download. try re-downloading the theme and flashing it. hopefully you made a nandroid before you flashed the theme to begin with. if you did re-apply the nanadroid, then flash the new download of the theme. if you still get the f/c's it might be something in the theme
I've flashed yesterday ROM 3.9.8, HTC Music player and then Theme. There were these problems with force closes so I've made switchrom backup, then I made WIPE, I've reflashed 3.9.8. & I've reinstalled theme (no HTC music player) - and problems appeared again, so, I don't know. But if you don't have any these problems, the mistake is probably somewhere on my side - but I really don't know where.
So thank you very much and I'm really sorry for false warning
updated first post
Relased version 0.2 for CM 3.9.9.1
Thanks for the compliments!!
If you have suggestions post your ideas!!
ok, just a few things....
1: love the pissing android, it matches my boot splash
2: love the launcher tray grabby thing, nice design, elegent, yet slightly tribal, matches some of my tattoos
3: any chance you could tribalize the notification pully thingy (gotta love my technical terms)
4: the big green box on the lock screen seems HUUUUGE compared to the contents, any way to make it smaller, or make it resize itself depending what's in it?
5: me wants your wallpaper pretty please with cherry on top
Notification text should be white.
Is it possible to change the launcher's background from that greyish 'dotty' thingy to something more exciting. may be use what's on the wallpaper itself.
Looks wonderful otherwise! Love the boot and the lockscreen!
Great theme, thanks very much for the effort! Oh and I love the boot screen

weatherbug shows current temperature in the status bar at the top left. It shows in white color text in other themes but here it shows in black, making it hard to read.
You can change the color of the temp. in the status bar to white or black.

[Theme][JUN 17][A70][A101] Gingerbread theme v1.1

I was getting tired of the unsharp search button in the taskbar, so i wanted to fix this. However, I ended up creating a complete framework in Gingerbread style. I also added 'Fly In and Flip Mix' animations.
Version 1.1:
Fixed blurry graphics.
Reverted back to original Archos app background.
Made fully compatible with A101.
Version 1.0:
Initial release.

How to install:
The easiest way to install is to overwrite the framework-res.apk located in /system/framework/ with Root Explorer.
Download:
Version 1.1
Version 1.0 (Old)
First Thanks for your work! it looks good
does this work on the A101 too?

It should work except for the blue background in Archos applications.

Okey, i'll test and report soon
Could anybody take a video of this, so we could see how smooth it runs?
Okey i tested it and i have to say: its good
It works fast on my A101
Really nice switch effects with these effects the hole android surface looks smoother
The only thing i have to say is:
The "show-list"-buttons (round) have bad graphics... (f.e. in settings)

If you could do this, I will try it, too.
But an other question: Could you make an additional version with green as selection color? I edited your photo to show it to you.
It would be great, if you could change it like on the photo.

I will look at this, but can't promise I release it today or so.
And for the rest: Version 1.1 is available in the first post
I just installed the Gingerbread Design, and it's great!
But I've a few suggestions for a perfect version:
- please remove the effect when apps are opening (the two black "areas" that go into the middle, you know what I mean?!), the rest of the effects is great!
- I think, the pulled down notification bar/area should be like in froyo (white/grey), the upper bar is now really cool!
- change the selection color to green
edit: I just noticed, that the bluetooth icon in the status bar is very tiny and "pixelated". Maybe you could take the Bluetooth icon from the old framework.

- I will look if I can fix this but I'm not sure. For the animations I took a pre-made package, not made by myself.
- Honestly, I don't really like the Froyo style notifications bar. That's why I used a dark one.
- A green version is coming, but I want to get this one perfect first
- I will look for a fix for the Bluetooth icon. But on the A70 it looks OK, just a little bit pixelated because of of the low screen resolution.
I updated to v1.1 on my A101, just awesome!
Just the download notification is also tiny and pixeled and i cant change my wallpaper..
any ideas?
I've created an own Bluetooth Symbol, and put it in the framework-res file. Maybe you can use this symbol for the next versions, too.
The issue with the wallpaper is normal, try to change the wallpaper once more, then it works normally.
So, here's my framework-res.apk in a zip folder: Klick!
I tried to make a first green version, and it works! Sorry Hondaracer, but I couldn't wait, so I renamed the framework-res.apk to .zip and edited the pictures.
But there are a few issues, like you can see in the screenshots, for example that the buttons become shorter when you touch them. And not all the buttons are green, but the most of them.
I can help you, Hondaracer, so we can make a perfect version.
Issues we have to change:
- Buttons in the green Framework shouldn't change the size when you tap them
- ALL the buttons should be green
- The effect I said in my other post
- the white status area when you pull down the status bar (in an additional version)
I hope for your help, Hondaracer!
Here the apk in a zip and the screenshots:
The framework: Klick!

I create a news on my website http://www.jbmm.fr/?p=16760
I replaced the framework-res.apk in the system/framework folder but I am getting bootloops
Great theme
I was wonderin if I can change the theme of my A70S, then I found this ... I would like to try it, but there is 2 things I would like to know:
1.- Can I habe some instructions on how to install it ... (I´m still newbie in most of my archos A70S aspects)
2.- After installation can I move between themes or it overwrites the original theme (just in case I would like to return to the original one)
Thank you very much and keep going with the good work

You have to copy the framework_res.apk to system/framework and overwrite the old framework i did it with rooth explorer

Nope you cant, if you want the original theme you have to do like above with the normal framework apk
nobody has an idea whats wrong?
I tried it twice and everytime the Archos hang in bootloops and I had to install stockrom again
edit: fixed
