is this possible? it's a seperate app to htc music....
i ask because it's being suggested as a possible workaround for scrobbledroid, which doesn't currently work with htc music.

The HTC Desire HD has a cool feature called Connected Media and it works really well on the IncredibleDoes ROM, does anyone think it is possible to port only this feature over to any sense ROM? Maybe it would require the whole music player I dont know. What does everyone think?

I really want that too. I flashed that ROM onto my inc and it worked really nice.
I have it installed on my uber z rom already. Only problem I ain't got a device that I can connect it to so I have no idea if it works or not. It does try to find devices and does not fc fwiw
By itself it does nothing. Its more or less a shortcut. The dlna is built into the framework and the music app. It would be difficult to port without porting the whole music app.
Has anyone on loaded the htc ringtone trimmer on a aosp rom? Is there a valid apk floating around? Most people say to use ringdroid, but i like the htc cutter better.
If anyone has an apk that works on any CM roms i would appreciate it!
That application shouldn't work on an AOSP ROM.
Hi I am kind of a new to the droid scene but finally permanently rooted and installed Cyanogen Mod 6.1 on my G2. What i would like to do is get the Droid X's Music.apk player to run on my phone because it has visualizations.
I backed up my old music player and installed the Droid X's music.apk from a dump but when I started to play a song with it, it would force close.
So restored my original music.apk. I am just wondering if there was away to install this player to get visualizations or if there is any other player that had visualizations? I know the 3.0 Honeycomb Music Player is out does anyone know if that works on G2 and if it has visualizations?
For some weird reason i thought installing Droid X's frame work and Blur to my G2 may make it work... its Fudged up my phone so i had to restore =/. Still no luck and been searching for a week now =/.

I'm quite fond of the HTC music app you get on Sense ROM'S because it has Dolby Mobile mode on it.
I also want to use Cyanogen so theres a bit of a problem there as the normal music app as I believe does not feature Dolby.
So is it possible that I take the HTC Music APK and transfer it onto Cyanogenmod? Would it work? Also, how would I go about doing it? Is it just a simple drag and drop and then install operation?
HTC apps won't work on a non-sense rom. The apps need the framwork etc. from sense roms.

Yes, me too. I just got my HTC One X and I only use Google Music and would really want to modify the Music in Car mode (useless in it's current form!)
