HErmes WM6 Themes

What software could i use to create my own themes for WM6?

I too would like to know if there's a good theme creator around...
I've tried this:

but it's not very intuitive and I can't work it all out properly...still trying with it though
If anyone has any tips to get the best out of it for making a WM6 theme, please post

I use ThemeMaker McDeb ( http://www.mcdeb.com/tmmcdeb/ ). It works with WM6, too. The only thing I'm not able to do, is to determine the taskbar color. It seems that WM6 is generating that color (or the glass effect) from one of the other colors.

I use ThemeGenCe
It has good features but lousy UI
But i recommend it

Definitely - if there's anyone who's got either some proprietary software or cleverly made their own and wants to share a link, deffo please do so - I abandoned trying yonks ago through lack of getting anywhere. The software I tried was either not suited to WM5 & 6 or had very poor UI.

I've had same problem trying to find easy to work
with software for making thmes. I finally gave up trying though and took
up mixing and matching existung themes from others.
Currently using Wisbar 2.7.x as the LCARS theme doen't like 2.8 or above
and Wisbar advanced desktop 1.2
while these are commercial packages, there tons of free themes tostart
you off on lakeridge sofware's website forum and I even found a few really keen
ones on a russian site 4PDA.RU
Google the following Wisbar to get the software
then google 4PDA.RU wisbar and look for the wisbar skins and thmes link to thier page
theres like at least 20+ skins and themes there and more on the lakeridge software forums
enjoy. note: normally I'd post links but I'm in my car at moment using
my hermes bluetooth internet sharing for the hsdpa speed it gives and
I'm posting this from my HTC Blue Angel hahaha yea bigger screen and is why I'm still
mad T-mobile wouldn't work me a deal on the Ameo

Comm Manager in HTC Homeplug

Hello,
since there are so many smart people here, I wanted times to ask whether someone my idea of the COMM manager in the HTC Homeplug (see picture) realize can?
The picture could determines be more beautiful, but it was to clarify only my idea.

That would be an awesome idea. Hopefully someone here will have the ability to do it. If you can somehow link the functions of the comm manager to run as programs or something kind of like the launcher, then maybe.

That make a lot of sense! It would be centralized and easy to access! Also, would probably free up memory!

might be a bit off topic.. juneyong in phonealarm forums created a skin that looks like the htc touch home plugin, its just in 3 tab and doesnt have the weather thing, but it has a tab which can manage the connections. meanwhile , i am playing with this one

Hmm, that will work very nicely indeed ... great idea!

I already asked for it in a SCHAP´s thread but he said it is hardcoded and cannot be done (easily)

When I bought my first PPC, I didn't have a clue on how to mod it, or do any of the cool stuff I saw other people were doing. I read the forums for a good week, and tried to find out all the info I could. Afterwards, I tried a few mods and they worked! There were a couple of times where I couldn't figure something out, THATS when I posted and asked questions that were answered by forum members. You have to do some reading, research & experimentation about things first, you can't just post a general question and expect everyone to spoon-feed you the information. Read a few threads dealing with how to do what you want to do, use the search, and you will see someone has asked the same questions you have now. Download the .CAB files you need, and happy modding!

all i want to know is if i am using the right software i download something name the diamondtf3d i can chage the skin but the skin comes like half way down the screen i guess that because it was design for the diamond which has a small screen so i want to know if there is a version for the blackstone

Depends on the theme. Some themes can be obtained by just replacing manilla files in your Windows folder. Search for instructions in the appropriate theme thread.

can the diamond TF3D config used to edit/add themes for HTC HD / blackstone? will there be any problem?

Using a Diamond tool on your Blackstone/HD could cause trouble because the screen resolution and size are way different (Blackstone 480x800, Diamond 640x480)

My cab was true WVGA from HD, no blanks, but here is sometimes very strange people.. I spent more than a hour trying to find right WVGA FM Radio cab here on xda, and had no success. I'm *experienced* searcher, not a newbie. So I decided to make my own and share.
2 gtrab: If you are so good in google xda search, please provide us direct link to single post where we can download WVGA Touch HD FM Radio cab without blanks. Thanks.
PS. If someone still need this cab, let me know, I'll post it again.

for what i know everyone says manilla 2.5 isnt possible in landscapemode
i dont know how but ive managed to get it in landscape
it aint perfect because the big icos are misplaced and my background is to short
but i can use landscape made
because i have it possible so the files are somewhere on my phone to make it happen or is this a known thing?
gonna make some pics of how it looks and in the meantime please share youre thought

Let me tell you, whichsoever way you rotate your device, what you get is the "portrait" Manila! Its not MIS-placed, dearie, it is NOT there!
Advice: Try to change the thread title to "Rally: Let's Port Manila 2.5 to Landscape"

1. Are you telling me that those extraordinary programers (who bust their brains out to port the coolest ever, state of the art, cutting-edge software and give to us for nothing other than a simple thank you) have no life?

i think this thread provides a glimmer of hope for us =]...not to mention possibly the poor people over with the Rhodium who would love to use landscape
this thread would be useful if someone knew which manilla files handled the landscape mode...i'm sure miniterror would be happy to post those files if he knew which ones!

maybe i have a job where i constantly need a computer arround me and therefore have the abbility to check xda a few times a day to reply to questions of other users and ask questions off things i dont get
as off the title english isnt my motherlanguage and therefore it maybe whas a little wrong and hopefull for some(my apoligies for that)
but that still doesnt have to lead to those hillbilly comments
as of the files i dont know wich files are for rotation but whas trying to get some wisdom in it and that whisdom could maybe lead to a thing that we can use mannila in landscape
it could have been usefullfor my rhodium to as i own a blackstone and a rhodium and gave my girlfriend my iolite
as for all the great developers here i dont say they dont have life thats how you interpretent it
i have respect for all these people as i know there are more of youre kind with those hillbilly comments and still they do there thing they like to do for all the others here ho can reply normally

nice one dude... am i missing sumthing here, im assuming that there is a file to install that u will put on here or there is a file that is already on my device

sorry bringing it up again
but it´s been days i´ve been look for some ROM or cab with the manila 2.5 FULLY landscaped
all i´ve found is the default music and photo tabs tilting ones
but i´d like to have all the screens rotated
seen it on older models as touch pro and even on touch hd on some videos
using gsen or gyrator on that roms only gave me a black screen on 2.5 and a useless almost half screen with a lot of glitches on 2.1
guess full landscape support it's possible since touch pro 2 is out some time now and hd2 has been announced
so, guys... is there a way to get manila 2.5 fully landscape mode?
