alright, i already made a thread about not having messenger on my pda after upgrading to wm6 black and i got <<flamed>> for not searching.
That was wrong. i did search, which i always do before questioning. I dont' have anything called windows live on my tytn. I can show you guys screen shots.
Is there a place i can download this thing???

In start ~> Programs there are 2 apps, one called messenger the other called windows live.

ok, go into start menu, programs, scroll down to the bottom you will see windows live icon, click icon and program will then run and install messenger.

The attitude isnt unnecessary.. its about keeping the board clean of useless junk... you are using an outdated version of black... that isnt black2.0... this is why there is no windows live.. please read and make sure you have latest version.

What is it?
"I Am Rich HD" is an imitation of the useless "I Am Rich" iPhone app that was around some time ago and by association is completely useless as well.
But whats the point then?
Well... there isn't one. Its just my venture into the world of WinMo development. And its pretty.
(On that note, could someone recommend some websites/tutorials/ebooks on the specific topic of using VS2008 for developing WinMo apps. Thanks.)
How do I use it?
Theres 2 buttons.
- Info Button -> shows you the matra. (recite it at least 3 times a day to make sure you have your wealth forever)
- the X button -> closes the app
To go to the main screen from the mantra hit the back button on the HD.
For the about dialog tap the mantra.
But there already is an "I Am Rich" Windows Mobile app.
Thats not a question. But anyway the other app that is out there did not display properly on my HD. I believe it was developed for the Diamond.
Something isnt working.
Again not a question but honestly I have no idea. I thing you need to have .NET Framework 3.5 for the app to work properly.
How do I install it?
Just copy the exe anywhere in your device and run it.

Sure. If you are interested in doing some pointless fun programming PM me and I will send you all the graphics. I would like to include some further changes to the program, unfortunately my VS2008 programming skills are pretty limited. PM me if you can lend a hand and/or answer a few specific questions.

All the existing IRC clients sadly dont seem to want to integrate this library meaning I can never read anything in my channels.
I know this is a first version and these are most likely very advanced requests but if the app is not "built" with this in mind it might not be implementable at a later point.
I have no idea on programming so thats nothing I can help on but I would gladly beta-test any new functions for you.
But for actually starting this project (since all others died) I already have to give you all a big THANKS!!!

This app is an IRC client, so it can only connect to IRC servers. However, in the unlikely case that such a site were to use an IRC backend, you could connect to it.

We'll consider adding that feature in the future. Right now, there are other priorities, since the app is still lacking in some very basic aspects, so it can still be a while before we get to it.

Awesome client.
In fact the first IRC klient I have tried, where you can actually join channels/networks of your own pick. It runs smoothly on my HD2.

The program is actually quite stable right now. What it really lacks is functionality. But yeah, for actual day-to-day usage, you're better off with zsirc, for the time being.

Windows Phone 7 unlocker released

Hey guys seems there is some news files to test on your WP7.
Today we have an exciting breakthrough for the Windows Phone 7 homebrew community - the ability for anyone to unlock a WP7 device without a Marketplace developer account.
Unlocking allows the sideloading of experimental applications that would otherwise can’t be published to the Marketplace, such as those which access private or native APIs.
We’ve taken the pain out of the process involved and put together a super simple executable that will allow anyone to unlock any WP7 device on the market using a USB cable and just a couple clicks.
This tool is completely safe and reversible for the phone. (The app even allows you to relock the phone.)

That's exactly how I feel. I'm not going to utilize this to pirate paid apps, just want to use all of the amazing stuff people at xda-devs and other sites are going to put out now
All we need is a Cydia-like marketplace

Now I can't try this because my phone is already unlocked using the Microsoft way, but I'm simply curios - does debugging using Visual Studio work as well? It should, shouldn't it?

On device programming could actually turn out to be a big thing.
